  Yes, it should be faster on production with this number of processors. I don't think that you need to change the number 4 to 12 as DBUA is smart enough to detect the number of processors and parallelism will be set to default 12.

  You don't want to risk going with the largest number since it is the production, if you had a similar hardware, where you can try this on a cloned instance then fine but otherwise I would personally stick with the maximum suggested by DBUA.

• Best software to test the speed of LAN?

  In the environment, that we are being run/tested, I am trying to determine the best option to test the speed of the LAN from one host to another.

  For example...

  I have a TestCluster with 2 hosts. In each host, I have 2 VM. Currently in each host, I also have 2 NETWORK interface card (1 GB speed).

  I want to test the network speed in two areas.

  1. from VM in VM in the same HOST.

  2. from HOST to HOST with 1 VM since 1 HOST sending data to the other virtual within another HOST computer.

  I did the software searches such as Iperf and Jperf, where exactly what I need... but it seems that send data to the high too for 500 MB or more... This is not good enough to saturate a 10 GB 1 GB, 2 GB, for testing network.

  So my question is... What kind of software of network test that VM Guru allows you to test your network traffic?

  Any help is really appreciated.

  Iperf is fine. Make sure that you just do not run with the default settings because it establishes that a TCP connection, not really representative to test the total flow of your link.

  Use the switch Pei to establish multiple simultaneous connections and/or to increase the TCP window size with - w. This should boost your results significantly, unless you really have a network problem.

  I personally tested on Linux virtual machines with vmxnet3 iperf and achieved results of more 25Gbit/s (Yes, really) within a 3-4Gbit/s on Windows virtual machines within the same host and host.

  Between physical hosts, I get a few good 900 + Mbps on our 1Gbit network.

  You are absolutely right with your assumptions.  The speed of adjustment is limited due to other factors, including the accuracy of the configured frequency.  Therefore, a limitation of the actual hardware, even with driver updates, this feature would not be possible.  I want to point you at the suggestion of product section where you can enter any suggestions for new features, as it is something that our new RF hardware will be able to support.

• Increase the speed of this VI?

  It is a simple question - is anyway to increase the speed of the VI below?  Parallelize the outer loop, I'm given the sequential nature of the loop inside, I don't know if there is anything else I can do.  The problem is that I'm trying to eat a large amount of data - every second I'm producing about 1.25 MECH. / s and any attempt of this accumulate more than 10 s (Data In) to perform the calculations below on several periods of integration (iTime; currently 0.001 0.01, 0.1, 1 and 3 s) - and it is causing an overflow on some other loops.  Any help is appreciated.

  Looks like you're right about single-precision calculation - can be significantly faster.  I will consider this.

  You must test in LV12, in previous versions, remove that table is a dog, even when the end of the table is deleted.  I did a simple test, create a table of random numbers 50000 and take the average of the consecutive blocks of 400 items by using the two methods.  I even added a reverse table of subset test to match the behavior of deleting the table.

  Results:

  Delete: 2.7 msec

  Subset: usec 200

  your mileage may vary.

  In other words, it must be controlled by the motherboard. Points to check are all the ventilation grids which allow the air make sure they are free of lint, pet hair, dust, etc. If there are panels that can be removed (as for the HDD or RAM upgrades), delete and wipe any dust, etc, from there. With the panels off, get a can of air spray to Wallyworld, Staples, etc. and blow through the orifices of evacuation to the inside. That should dislodge from the heat sink.
  After a thorough cleaning, the outgoing air should be slightly cooler. Keep in mind that the more stressed the CPU and GPU are, more air is exhausted. If you think there might be a problem, there are a number of utilities that will control the fan speed and the different system temperatures:

  Http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php fan speed (also allows the fan control)

  If you used to use the laptop on your lap, you can think about getting one of the aprons to put on; very often, during its use on the knees, some of the Airways under may be blocked by your pants, causing overheating. I had a Logitech, which has a sliding mouse (I can't stand the touchpad), and it has helped tremendously with my gateway heat problem.

  7. the user has installed new programs that are processor and/or memory-intensive (Photoshop, AutoCAD, Mathmatica or similar) and does not have the power of the equipment.

  Increase the speed of the fan is not the solution.  You will wear just on the fan, and then the computer does not start.  If your computer is a laptop, it is not designed to play games.

  You should carefully, using compressed air, blow out the fan and heat tube.  You can also get a cooling block, don't play on a soft surface and if plant you yet stop playing games unless you want to kill your computer for good.
