Best printer for perforated vinyl

Hi im a designer and im interested in printing on vinyl (preferably perforated vinyl) I am looking for a small printer not too much just make some small designs with good picture and details. Would be nice if it could also cut the design. I hope you can help me with what I'm looking for. Thanks for your time!

In this price range, with the use of adhesive paper, most printers would be able to achieve a high quality prints on vinyl. I would recommend a photosmart, like our 7510, which are designed for defined, vibrant prints or if you want a more utilitarian, multifunctional, I would recommend the 8600 or the 6700 - these are more oriented offices and print at home.

I hope it's useful!

Any printer would work with vinyl, but I would prefer a DESKJET with an ADF (ADF).

  • Which format is the best export for the vinyl album covers

I recently thought get illustrator. A friend received recently, and he really likes her. But he has no idea how to use it at the moment.

I don't want to bite the bullet and do it until I know that I can export my work in the right format.

I would like to know what is the best format to export the work if it is for a vinyl album cover?

It is mainly the type of work that I do.

    Help, please!

    Thanks in advance.

Talk to the printer, it can give you specifications.

In General, save a print ready PDF from Illustrator does the work.

If you search Google for the vinyl album cover dimensions, you find many info and models to help you get started.

But talk of the printer is the best way to get the right information.

  • What is the best printer for new El Capitan?

After installing the new OS X El Capitan, my printer (which I love!) is not compatible.

Anyone know the best printer to use with this new OS?

It's a very broad question without knowing what are your needs and desires. There are many printers that works very well with El Capitan. If give you some details on what you are looking for like do you print a lot, often, do you need color, multi functions, is a consideration of price, etc., while others may give more specific advice to your needs.

Also, have you checked the Web site of your printer to see if they have upgrades for El Capitan or if they are planing to release drivers for it? Have you considered the use of the generic drivers for your old printer?

For me, I use an HP multi function B & W laser printer. HP seems to face this day on compatibility better than many other brands. I gave up jets of ink because of the high cost of the ink cartridges and cartridges drying up of low use.

    Hello

What is your main use and how much you want to spend. For each class high-end printer is in my opinion, the best for this class.

HP has many classes of printers, from lower to upper class class. I think that no one can answer your question unless they know what is your primary use and your budget. I can tell, others may say differences.

My suggestion: take few of them then find some previews and decide.

    Kind regards.

  • Best settings for the analysis of revenues

I just bought a HP Officejet 6600 A-I-O. I was looking for a device scan my boxes of documents, so I can unclutter my home office. I would also like to analyze the revenue. I considered the famous 'neat Scanner", but I hesitated to the price tag of $400.

My question: what are the best settings for the HP scanning application when I'm scanning received? What is the difference between PDF and PDF searchable? IsTIFF a better choice than PDF? Use "Generalist" or something else? Recipes do not need large files high resolution, of course.

Can someone point me to a guide that explains the different parameters available with the HP Scan application, please. Thank you!

    Hi Caesar3,

In a regular PDF document, the text looks more like a picture of the text.  We can see it, but the file does not contain the words.

In an indexed PDF, text is stored as text, so it can be searched.

    http://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/how-to-create-a-searchable-PDF-file

When you scan receipts, 200 or 300 dpi should be fine.  If you plan to print the stored version receive 300 dpi would work well.

I recommend PDF more TIFF.  TIFF files can store pages or multiple images in a single file, but access to additional pages is a bit awkward.  Generally, the file size is much smaller with PDF or TIFF.

The site http://www.scantips.com/ is a good resource.  This is a Web site not HP, but it does not scan HP.

  • Is alcohol the best solution for the cleaning of the product

Sometimes you print quality problems. You cannot print the colors, bad impression or bad imagingin during the scan images.

You go through all the troubleshooting steps away as cartrides, glass, rollers of the printer cleaning and replacement of cartridges.

Ask yourself what you should used during the cleaning of the unit?

WATER and a LINT cloth, would be the best solution for cleaning. You can absorb the water on the cloth and clean the printhead, cartridges, the scanner glass, rolls and any other area that needs to be specific to the unit.

ALCOHOL IS NOT AN OPTION. This can damage the strips and the contacts on the cartridges and the print head. The next time you need to clean your product, water is the best option.

    Hope this helps everyone.

  • Best print quality page

How stop the page "for best print quality, place the page on the glass and press a button to copy" print whenever I turn on printer? It is a waste of ink! I did face it once, as advised. Model HP deskjet 2540. Thank you very much

    Hi bze.

To ensure high-quality prints, the printer performs an automatic alignment semi process every time you install or replace the cartridges. The product prints a page of alignment in this alignment process. To complete the process, you need to place the page alignment on the glass of the scanner and scan the page. If you don't analyze the alignment page, the continuous product to print an alignment page whenever you turn on or turn off the product until complete you the process of alignment complete .
  • Just improved m tips on best practices for sharing files on a Server 2008 std.

The field contains about 15 machines with two domain controllers, one's data is the app files / print etc...  I just upgraded from 2003 to 2008 and want to get advice on best practices for the establishment of a group of file sharing. Basically I want each user to have their their own records, but also a staff; folder. Since I am usually accustomed to using windows Explorer, I would like to know if these actions can be done in the best conditions. Also I noticed on 2008 there is a feature of contacts. How can it be used? I would like to message or send an email to users their file locations. Also, I want to implement an admin at a lower level to handle the actions without making them far in on the server, not sure.

I read a certain bbut I don't like test direct more because it can cause problems. So basically a way short and neat to manage shares using the MMC, as well as the way that I approach their mail from the server of their actions. Maybe what kind of access cintrol or permissions are suitable also for documents. Also how can I have them use office templates without changing the format of the model.

  • Store a printer for the summer

I'm in College and plan to store my printer for the summer. What is the best way to do it? I don't want to break or do something for him harm as I just got it August of 2013 for the school. Thanks in advance

    Hello

The best way to store the printer would be with plugged somewhere course.

The reason why I recommend it be plugged in is because the printer needs to perform routines of service from time to time in order to keep the printhead in good health.

in the end, we have used a perl script to capture the webservice and treat it and tables configuration.  Here is what has been written and created an agent custom.

I apologize to all those who find the bulky comments, but it's my edition of journal of the script. I removed the comments once the script has been published and used.

  • Best practices for color use in Adobe CC?

    Hi all

Is there an article that describes the best practices for use of color in Adobe CC?

I produce a mixture of viewing online (PDF, for the most part) and real world print projects - often with the obligation for both. I recently updated my PANTONE + bridge books for the first time in ages and I am suddenly confused by the use of Lab colors in the Adobe Suite (Illustrator and InDesign).

Everything I found online, looks like Lab color mode preferred to use because it is device independent. And perceptual (on screen), it looks much closer to the color, it is trying to represent. But when I mark a Spot color Illustrator rectangle using laboratory coordinates, to the sides of a rectangle using PANTONE + bridge CP and then export it to PDF, the version of CP to mix CMYK color corresponds exactly to my Pantone book - while the version of laboratory (after converted to CMYK using the ink Manager) is far away.

I have this fantasy to manage only a single Illustrator or InDesign file for both worlds (PDF) printed and online. Is not possible in practice?

Any info describing the basic definitions of the color modes - or even a book tracing more than use them in the real world - would be much appreciated!

    Thank you

    Bob

Here are a few best practices you can already do.

1 make sure that your color settings are synchronized on all applications.

    2. use a CMYK profile appropriate for your print output. Lab spot colors convert to CMYK values based on the CMYK icc profile.

    3. include icc profiles when save or export pdf files

In theory, your imagination is possible today. It requires color management and the use of icc profiles. You can place RGB images in InDesign and use Pantone colors in your objects. The problem lies in the printers. If a printer uses a RIP with built in Pantone library, the colors will match when printing. Unfortunately, this kind of CUT is more expensive and not enough printers use them. Most of them is always manually approximate CMYK values composition given Pantone colors.

  • Best practices for the compression of the image in dps

Hello! I read up on best practices for the compression of the image in dps and I read the asset from the source of panoramas, sequences of images, Pan and zoom images and audio skins is resampled not downloading. You will need to resize them and compress them before deleting the in your article, because the dps do not do it for you. Hey can do!

So Im also read as he active source of slideshows, scrolling images, and buttons ARE resampled as PNG images. Does this mean that DPS will compress for you when you build the article? Does this say I shouldn't worth going bother to resize these images at all? I can just pop in 300 DPI files 15 MB used in the print magazine and dps will compress their construction article - and this will have no effect on the size of the file?

And this is also the case with static background images?

    Thanks for your help!

All images are automatically resampled to based on the size of the folio you do. You can put in any image resolution you want, it's not serious.
