  Well, let's first - become familiar with SQL * Plus - Oracle standard tool. Maybe it's a little 1980
  but it will be available on absolutely every system you use. As long as a student, I don't think you
  have a lot of money to spend on tools - so download Oracle's SQL developer tool (free)
  and experiment with it.

  On your own systems, there are already scripts - do (presumably in Unix - if Windows, use the search)
  Tool) - $ORACLE_HOME do you find. -name "*.sql" and watch the rdbms/admin scripts. In addition,

  Part of the problem is not so much finding sites that have articles on Oracle, that is to find reliable websites with this information.  When I search my site of certification for resources, I find a significant number of people who have 'technical' Articles on Oracle. However, many of these blog posts have simply no useful information.  It is not even that they are wrong so far as article does not include anything that is not declared more clearly and in detail in the documentation.

  That said, a site you have not mentioned above is the Oracle Learning Library.  There very often an excellent material that is very closely linked to the themes of the certification:

  These days I've been shooting packages to clean my application. And question came to my mind, ' should I treat my exceptions the right way?

  Currently in 'process success Message' put something along the lines "Action completed successfully". What to do about all the processes.

  I really want to hear what you have to say since I'm tired of feeling like this is a terrible way to manage these things.

  You can still use an inclusion, of course. You should think about CFC when certain functions share themes in common, when functions become complex, or when the number of functions becomes important.

  Maybe they should all go in a CFC as UDF. CFC.

  Yes, they could go on a CFC, but not necessarily all in a CFC. You should consolidate functions only if they express the behavior of a particular concept. For example, you could do functions that manipulate strings, such as getRandomString, part of StringManipulation.cfc.

  I think I can call one of the several functions in a CFC.

  You can call any number of functions a CFM page or function in an another CFC.

  I did not understand if a CFC is a process, or can be a collection of processes.

  As Dan said, you can put inside or outside of the wwwroot folder. The important thing is to distribute your FSTC and CFC in folders so that your application will have a logical, easy to follow structure.

  It is best to declare variables in the lowest scope possible. So, given the choice between these two pieces of code and other assumptions you mention, the second part of the code is better.

  (By the way the rule is true because it makes your code easier to understand. In the second part of the code you posted, it is obvious that variable 'i' isn't used everywhere except in the "test" method In the first part of the code, the reader cannot tell. Less the player should reflect the code you write, the better code.)

  However if the second part of the code is what you want, then it is too long. Why you initialize the variable to zero, and then in the next line assign another value to it? Why not simply initialize this another value in the first place?

  It is usually best to write less code, and no more code. Most code you write more code must contain errors. Beginners used to write a lot too much code. However, it is possible to go overboard with the idea of writing less code; It is possible to write a long and unreadable 'one-liners', which do the work, but when some other poor decoration needs to change to something else, it's impossible.

  You will notice that I have not address the issue of the "faster" at all. This is because that things like when you declare variables are a triviality in terms of speed things run.

  There are some excellent books, such as quick start Guides and classroom in a book series.

  The tutorials of Trainsimple.com and Lynda.com online video training are also very good. You can get a free 10 day trial with Lynda.com to try.

  And you can always ask specific questions on the Adobe forums.

• Best "workflow" for Sony A7sii and GH4 - Res Pro or DNxHD?

  I'm filming a documentary of 90 minutes on a Sony A7sii like Cam 1 and a Panasonic GH4 camera 2. 23.97fps to 3840 x 2160. We need to have 4 k options for future use. We will very likely use a certain amount of purchased both action sequences. I am currently working on what happens to be the best workflow with final export to the spirit. I need to export the final movie in Res Pro Apple or DNxHD - and I'm trying to figure who is going to be the best from start to finish.

  I'll be transcoding footage in function in order to make the workflow on the timeline as fluid and less tax on the processor as possible but also ensure final best made possible. I found that editing in the formats of native files (4 k) of each camera - even when the parameter/scaling to the size of the image - is very heavy on the processor and he staggers scouring or reading. So should I choose HQ or DNxHD pro.

  Also - on this basis, should what sequence settings I use? Creating a sequence of the clip with a Res Pro first clip gives me preset film Arri. Seems the timeline without effort on playback and scrub.

  ProRes 'was' standard in the Apple world, so became very common. DNxHD/R/HQ options are really become as well or better for most uses, it is just newer. On my PC, DNxHD cut almost as quickly as Cineform and a little faster than ProRes. They are sorta close... and is the guarantee of a your mileage MAY vary!

  So do a few quick tests. A few hours transcoding in two or three choices, then to the same projects, applying the same effects (while taking note of reading), then export on and schedule exports will give you an answer for you.

  I have an SRM installation with 2 sites.  The sites are separated by metro trunk of layer 2 ethernet between the sites.

  Site has

  1 EqualLogic PS6100

  2 ESX servers configured as cluster

  There is a single data store volume over the San with all virtual machines in this cluster

  There is one instance of vCenter to this place located in the same data as the other virtual machines store

  There are also a few other volumes on the SAN used for the RDM disks in virtual machines

  I also created a small volume of 1 GB as a VMFS data store and have it mapped in SRM to use as a placeholder for a data store

  What are your thoughts on that?  Is this the best way?  I could use the local storage on the ESX servers?  Main VM can be used for fictional settings or my data store?

  SRM is installed on the same VM as vCenter

  MRS. uses SQL Express on the local vCenter VM

  vCenter also uses SQL Express

  Site B

  1 ESX Server, so no clustering

  There is a single data store volume over the San with all virtual machines running on ESX Server

  According to the requirements of the SRM, there is a separate instance of vCenter operating as a virtual machine, and it is not in bound mode.  Should it be? / Should it be?

  The number of volumes on the SAN and their goals is the same Site A, the only difference is the size of the volume is smaller because less machines virtual running on this site.

  Replication has been implemented and verified the bi-directional working.

  We use replication on Bay

  OK, here's the problem... When I do a recovery expected, the process stops all the virtual machines on this site that includes the server vCenter/SRM.  I guess that to happen because it's on the same database as my other virtual machines?

  If I run the recovery in emergency mode, vCenter is then moved to the other site and power.  Because the sites are layer 2 and on the same vlan, MRS. watch sites are connected by 2 instances SRM can meet eventhough they are now running on the same site.  This does not seem right to me.

  Can someone suggest a better configuration?

  Consider that SQL express is adapted to the environment of very small size (don't remember the numbers now). Make sure that you do not exceed the limits.

  I recommend having two hosts for prallele and accelerate the recovery process (multiple virtual machines can be powered on simultaneously).

  You don't have to configure them in bound Mode. This is for ease of management only (license, roles and inventory)

  Yep, do not put vCenter VM on the VMS data store and reproduce at all.

• Is CompactRio best solution for me?

  I develop the couple-tour and need to control, hydraulic test machine in addition to saving the graphics of each couple. Control Panel will use the industrial Joystick (to control 5 proportional valves for directional hydraulic) and also requires the adjustment mechanism of pressure/flow (at pressure solenoid control and flow regulators type). Another part is the record - I need to record and report the graphics of each couple, but torque for each individual test values are running user-defined and system should "fire" dump valve very precisely (real time) to the preset torque value (the system will read input load cell) and stop the system once the desired torque is reached. I'll also have in turn against the sensor, sensors etc. of pressure in the system.

  I will definitely use LabView, but I'm not sure whether CompactRIO is the best device for the control and data acquisition in my case or I need something else. I don't know how CompactRIO manages changes to execution and PWM (for the proportional valve controls). Any help will be much appreciated.
