  We started to use the Sunflower (Email Analytics - sunflower) this month and have been very happy with it.   At first glance, the answer in your case is probably very simple - you can create CD tracks with a few markers - you need to split your files into beaches and mark those. This is what the CD markers for. This is all explained in the articles, however.

  Most of the "Failure of analysis" means time that there is not enough detail in your shot which can be followed to calculate a solution of the camera. For example, if you hand hold a camera and walk through a crowd of people all trying to get into a sporting event, then everything in the frame moves in different directions, the camera moves, and there is no physical features on Board that can be used to calculate the movement of the camera. Another type of shot that can be solved is someone walking on a beach with a camera photographed the coming waves. Once again, all this movement of the water and the sky without relief don't give any details that can be used to calculate the camera movements, understand the focal length and find a solution.

  Without seeing your shot, it is impossible anything else only speculate. Usually, the only hope for a solution is to cut the part of shooting or to remove or mask of it.

• CS4: Better use SSDS?

  I wonder where I will get the best performance for your money shot in a situation of NLE is considering adding an SSD or two to the mixture. The active zone is Vista, but I can switch to faster ponies on a 64-bit machine 7 soon. Doubt there is a difference between the two recommendations, but thought that I will quote just in case.

  First of all, a tangent. On my Premiere Pro CS4 disks, I don't see any indication of 32 / 64-bit versions, but I understand that both are available from the DVD. Can anyone confirm this?

  As for the SSD, the General wisdom for overal performance is used as the boot / system of thrust load app and start training. For NLE, there are other drive considerations that come into play - the disks where the source of the layer to edit footage and the disks that serve as temporary entry/exit in rendering, reading, etc.. There may be other considerations as well, these are just the ones that come immediately to mind.

  I'm less concerned about how much time the computer takes to startup (still standing 24/7) or an application how long takes to load and more focused on performance of Premiere and After Effects then eding, reading and rendering.

  With this in mind, if I bought only a SSD, where would be the best place to serve? And if I threw cards credit and attention to the wind and bought two, where the other would do me the greatest good?

  First of all, CS4 is 32-bit only.

  Where you could potentially get the most out of a single SSD depends a lot on your total disk configuration. But my feeling is that the money spent on a single SSD is better used to buy 3 or 4 extra Spinpoint F3 1 TB drives and upgrade your installation. For about the same amount you will get much more storage and better performance.

I have several students who are really excelling and we'd like to do a 3D tracking.  The AE monitoring is not enough.  Watch a video, they speak with Mocha AE but we use CS 6.  Can be downloaded and used with SC 6, even if it is for CS CC?

• Use of tracking / new user growth?

  I am looking for a type of measure to show new growth of the user of a system to track usage. In this catalogue, there is a field, Date of creation, which shows where each user has been created in the system. Is there a way to export this field?

  Once you have this information you can make growth etc as you required. in above (tillDec-tillNov) will give new users added in December.

• Which is better: using the NI 9203 or USB Volt to differential entrance map

  Dear all,

  I have 4 pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters 4 with output 0-10 v or 4-20 my. I have also 2 with output 4-20 flow meters my.

  I have two options:

  Is to get all the signals in my and link them to the C two modules NI 9203 or I can get 8 sensors with 0-10 V and then I can use for example NI 6218 where I can connect these signals using differential configuration.   Do you mean that you have the choice between voltage and current transducers and want to know what is the best?

  Current loop 4-20 mA is intrinsically less sensitive to voltage noise.  4-20 my sources have an output impedance much higher that a shunt resistance, so that the vast majority of the noise is deleted in all of the source.  The following application note of the BAPI and our own Developer Zone article both give a good overview of the subject:

  Regarding the 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA, you will have no problem here.  4-20 mA is commonly used for sensors one reasons are that a 0 can be used to indicate a bad connection (open).

  When you take a measure of the tension, the best way to reduce noise is to measure differently, with your connections made with threads of the shielded twisted pair (Wikipedia link).  The idea here is that any atmospheric noise would affect both the + and - ends of your signal.  Since you measure differently, the noise cancel out.

  You will be probably very well in both cases.  If you use the 6218, you can provide your own external shunt resistors to measure the current, while using other channels to measure the voltage. See the article How to build a system of loop current with isolated M series.  It seems to not be updated for the 6218, but this Council provides isolation recommended for current measurement.

  The 9203 s have this integrated to the Board of Directors and are designed specifically to the measurement current.

  Other recommended reading would be field of wiring and considerations of noise for analog signals.  When setting up this system, you will need to make sure that everything is grounded correctly (without ground-loops, floating connections, etc.).

  Case of use which you are referring. Theoretically speaking, we could accomplish this type then:

  -Decision program rule evaluates the membership contact filter. Contact filter uses the comparison of capture all contacts who have visited the Web site activity-based x.

  -If the contact is rated as 'Yes', run an update rule to force a specific value in a field of contact (for example, if the contact has visited the site, then leave the field "has visited the website?" = "yes")

  -Insert the dynamic content on the PURL page that displays according to the value in this field of specific contact (for example, if 'yes' then display ad, if you see 'no' then ad Z)

  Note: the 'extra' step to push the value in a field of contact is necessary because the contained substitution works based on contact (or company or prospect) field values

  I don't know that too, there are other ideas out there. Would love to hear them.

• Better use of the 10GbE with vSphere Enterprise

  We are about to deploy a new SAN connected with 10 GbE (iSCSI and NFS). Servers (5 in total, with about 50 VMs) all have 2x10GbE and 2x1GbE ports. Everything will be connected with a pair of Nexus 3000 10GbE switches. We read a lot of information how the best way to use the 10 GB connections. There are many conflicting views on how best to configure the networking, but most of the documentation recommends setting up distributed vSwitches. Unfortunately we lack more Enterprise it is not an option. We * could * updated, but at this point, I want to avoid this path.

  With that support is in place, what is the best way to make use of 10 GB using standard vSwitches? I'm fine with using the ports of 1 GB if necessary, but it would be great if we could put everything on all 10 GB ports.

  Recommendations and suggestions greatly appreciated!

  As you've probably discovered already your best bet is to use Enterprise Plus licenses so that you can take advantage of the i/o control network to divide the 10Gb network cards and share them with iSCSI, NFS, vMotion, virtual machine and management.

  Given your other options I would create two switches.  A management and vMotion with connections rising 2x1GB.  Configure this active / standby with active management on a NETWORK card and watch over the other and vice versa for vMotion that each 1 GB NIC is dedicated to a single task, but always the possibility to switch on it are required.

  With the second switch add the two 10 GB uplinks and create two vmkernel iSCSI ports.  Set each uplink active on a portgroup and unused on the other and then activate the iSCSI connection.  See the picture below for an example.

  

  Now create additional exchanges for traffic of NFS and virutal machine and assign them to the same switch.  Set up NFS as active / standby and the VM to route based on the port id.  Don't forget to give a different ID for each type of traffic to VLAN.

  If you are familiar with QoS on Cisco you can prioritize traffic iSCSI, NFS, and virtual machine accordingly to ensure that the iSCSI traffic is always available.  You can take this a little more away by setting transmit rate limits on portgroup VM traffic so that he is not eat all 10 GB of the uplink.

• How to use several "Track Motion' and 'Stabilize the Motion' trackers.

  I am very new to After Effects. I looked everywhere for hours trying to find an answer to this question without success. I'm sure that I use while simply not the right search terms.  I have a video that is make up of 3 different clips.  I add a tracker of movement to stabilize her, he wants to apply it to the entire video in all three clips. Each of the three shots followed different points.  Is it possible I can specify the first tracker applies only to the Let's say the first 30 seconds, then add a second tracker to the middle with his own track point clip, then a third tracker for the end?

  All I can think to do is take the video share in 3 sections, and then apply the tracker each. When it's done I could then combine them into one video. Not the easiest if.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  You must cut the clips and follow them separately.
