  Make sure that your security software (antivirus) is not blocking attachments.

  I started using DxO OpticsPro 10 to process Raw files. When I used the share menu in this application to "Add photo" pictures are exported but not visible in the Photos app. I see that they are in the photo library (Show Package Contents > Masters), but they are not visible in the Photos in the Photos app. However if I use "Export to Application" instead of "Add photo" in DxO OpticsPro the Photos app opens and the image is visible.

  You can't always do and changes directly to the photo library - you must use the program of Photos to import photos - adding photos to the library has no positive effect (and may even cause problems)

  In Windows Vista Windows Picture and Fax Viewer has been replaced by the Windows Photo Gallery and there was an option to set the brightness, contrast, etc by using the Fix as you said.

  Unfortunately, this option is not available with the Windows Photo Viewer in Windows 7.

  I have a Photosmart e 7510 and am trying to print photos.  I have installed HP Premium paper and HP Photo cartridge installed.  When I print the photos that are green - I printed both a progress report and a report of print quality and the cartridge photo is full but the magenta is empty.  It seems to me that the photos are print with regular color cartridges and not the photo cartridge.  Or photos using all the cartridges?  I correctly on all the printer settings and chose to 'better' than the quality of the photo.

  Any help is appreciated...

  The photo cartridge is just black photo, which is used to improve the nuances of black and colors in a photo. When photos are printed colours would be used to create the best possible performance. I could replace the magenta cartridge and printing resumes and see if that solves the Green tinting the problem you are currently experiencing. I hope this helps.

  I tried to type 5. It shows the windows open, but they do not have an X to close each.

  Once you view the list of open tabs:

  • In portrait mode, it should be a black X on the far right next to the title of the tab. This can be difficult to see on a dark background.
  • In landscape mode, it must be a gray X next to the tabtitle below each thumbnail. Maybe it's a little trickier to operate with precision.

  You can also "drag" a tab off the screen to close - tap and hold on the thumbnail and drag it off the screen.

  • In portrait mode, drag to the left or the right.
  • In landscape mode, drag upward or downward.

  They will play in the Photos if you import them directly from your iPhone (without using iCloud).

  If you do so, you will see this in the lower left corner of the photo in pictures:

  When look at enlarged single for the images in slide show > widget Light Box, a faint image of thumbnails can be seen in the background on each side of the enlarged image when the image is narrow (portrait orientation). They should be hidden by the container of enlarged image, whose filling is black, 100% opacity. The thumbnails are invisible behind the enlarged image itself. This only happens when the cluster of thumbnails is wider than the enlarged image.

  A viewer is a sort of background transparent by default, which covers the rest of the components and highlights the image etc, that opens in the Viewer. This is the default functionality of lightbox.

  The background of the lightbox is the rectangle that contains the image of heroes in Design view. In the browser, this rectangle is expanded to fill the browser window. Open the filler panel, and by default you will see that the fill is black and opaque to 90%. (Note the opacity is about filling.) The opacity of the object is 100 %.) You can change the fill color, opacity, etc. to anything you want.

  Hi everyone - I just discovered a big problem with the Photos this morning and it makes me a little nervous. For some reason, I am unable to use my existing tags of the faces in the Photos. I have hundreds of faces marked in thousands of pictures and have never had a problem before. When I go to the album of faces, nothing shows - it is completely empty. However, when I search a face already marked in the search bar, the data is always there, because when I search for a particular name, it will show the right amount of photos Tags. In addition, when I want to mark a new photo of a person who's already been tagged, I can't, because their existing tag does not appear when I start typing in their name.

  I spent so much time getting my faces and everything organized tags, so it's making me really concerned. I did everything I think this would cause. I use the latest version of El Capitan and would like all the advice that you guys have...

  Using iCloud photo library?

  The behavior you describe is typical for a library of Photos downloaded from iCloud.

  A synchronized iCloud library will have all the tags available faces, but not faces albums.

  Maybe the pictures for some reason any could not open your photo library regularly and opened a new one, then uploaded the photos to iCloud?

  What happened before the album of faces gone?

  I guess that your problem is that you want to view the files before deleting them.

  You can use free IrfanView.  It is much more powerful and versatile than Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.

  The reason why you can't find WP & FV is because it is in a file named dll enigmatic.  The following is courtesy of MS - MVP volunteer J (and assume you are using Windows XP):

  (or copy and paste):

  regsvr32 /i shimgvw.dll

  (Yes, the space after the 2 and the)
  After the i is necessary)

  Press on... Come in...

  You should see a dialog box stating:

  Now... the following command should launch a blank Windows
  The screen image and Fax Viewer. He will say: no preview available.

  Rundll32.exe c:\windows\system32\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen

  Now set WP & FV as your default viewer, and you should be ready to see the photos.

  Open a folder and click right right click a picture...

  In the menu... Choose... Properties / change button...

  Select Windows Photo And Fax Viewer, and then click on... OK / apply / OK.

  Let us know the exact result.
