BlackBerry 10 Annoying statusline

Hi out there!

Just got my Q10 and I am almost happy. If the applications are open/running and I'm sliding through the app "screen" (where to launch an application) - there is a boring statusline at the bottom of the screen indicating approximately (translated from German):

"Last used applications are located on the left.

And there's a "ball" screening from the left to the right of the screen.

How do I stop this? Or do I have to finish a kind of first tutorial?

HrY

Yes.  Just follow the guests of the gesture and these banners will disappear.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Annoying Message - "updated versions of the application... Danish. "

I saw at least two other forum posts with Blackberry users having the same problem of software, but am re-quest someone post a clear solution to what I do not understand how to solve this problem and apparently he has not worked for at least six months and it doesn't seem to be the way to contact the media other than a phone call (which I will if I have to). I've updated my software to the latest current version (version 5.0.1) if I still see 4.6 in places and an annoying message continues to be displayed.

Whenever I connect my new BB to my computer and run the Desktop Manager, the Application Loader ALWAYS says:

Version updates of the application listed below are available for your device.

    Danish language support
    Norwegian language support
    Swedish language support

    >>

Question: Should what steps I take to prevent this message from appearing?

    Hello

your current installation of Desktop Manager is configured to look for updates of your OS device on the internet every time that you open the Desktop Manager. the DM sees a new OS is available, and that, outside versions updates to existing modules on the OS, OS contains three new language modules are included.

    • You can either do the update of the operating system on your device (this is the way it is supposed to be according to RIM)
    • You can live with this message. It's a good Zen.
    • You can configure Desktop Manager do not check for updates, which can be done by right-clicking on the taskbar on the 'device' icon, and on one of the tabs, you can uncheck the option.

  • Annoying problems of 2 blackBerry Smartphones

I have 2 problems which become right on my nerves. I use a Curve 8310... The first 2 issues are the most important... the third is not so important, but any response is appreciated... Thank you in advance. :-)

    Problem #1

I want to change the notification sound making to my curve when I get a text message. I did read through the forums and found a post that says how to change. However, I do not have the same options. I can select profiles and then go to advanced. But where the poster said there will be an option for TEXT messeging I don't have this option. I just all main profiles and when I choose Advanced I just get the same text options and a place where it says "use the profile except on the" what I checked and its only things where I changed the type of ringtone. I can't yet change to the notifaction sound on SMS Texting.

    Problem #2

My daughter has a blackberry as well, and she can meet other devices bluetooth such as other phones. When we were together last night and we tried to detect eachothers phones he kept No. DEVICES ARE IN THE RANGE. I have my bluetooth enabled because I have the small symbol in the upper left corner...

Add a contact: I went to the address book, then choose "New address" from here you can enter BB pines, E-mail info and phone/address information.  If you click on the menu here button, you can also add a custom notification tone.

Notifications can be changed in the profile area.  If you scroll down the list of profile options, you can change the type of notifications you get on calls/SMS and can implement custom profiles.

I've recently matched my BB 8300 with my daughter's laptop (I handed my SYNC down to him), and had no problems.  Be sure that the other phone which you have allowed not only the Bluetooth to be on, but also the "Bluetooth visibility" option, in the case otherwise he will be there but invisible (like how you can be on Yahoo Messenger.)

Hope this helps, if you continue to have problems, PM me.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, I get constant data messages in my email and I'm not even running desktop redirector. Very annoying.

I constantly get emails from [email protected] both my Pocket PC and in my Inbox. I'm not running the redirector and rather using my exchange internet mail works. I have not had any problems for about a year, then all of a sudden I started to receive messages network constantly, even during the night when I send not no matter what email. I noticed that my computer pocket under the e-mail Configuration, he said (2) as if to indicate there are two set up email addresses. But when I access the menu there is only an email. Any ideas? It's very frustrating to have to keep delete all these emails from the network.

Can I have the fixed with this article. http://bit.l it/mK79yg I deleted CMIME and CICAL service books. I will post if this fix works. It's funny, but I never had this problem before. He just started randomly one day.

Really weird... try to put the helmet back, using it, and take out them, see if cela deativates it somehow.

  • Smartphones blackBerry Blackberry PRIV is a terrible phone!

I do not bash Blackberry, I just used to others. They should understand all the problems with this stupid phone, before shelling out the $700 want Blackberry for the phone on their Web site. So here is a short list of problems you will encounter, if you buy the phone as does PRIVATE Blackberry cannot load, if you use the phone, which I've NEVER owned a phone that has no load, while I used it! That a question is so bad, that I'll never buy a Blackberry phone once again, because told me that this is the problem on all Blackberry, turning under Android. What a horrible design that has this phone! The only good thing is the physical keyboard.

There phone heat constantly. The memory card slot, often fails. The phone cannot charge while using it. You must leave the phone on charge, by using not, at all. SIM card slots and memory, are difficult to access and prone to breaking. With voice calls, the person at the other end, can not hear your first. It takes a second or two for them to hear you. It is very difficult to add contacts. Options that are supposed to allow adding contacts you, do not work, in the way that they should. You can't automatically download files on the memory card. You need to change the settings and download applications, in order to transfer the contents of the internal memory of the phone, on the SD card. Spell check does not work as it does on other phones. You will see all possible spellings on the keyboard, but you can't click on them and have the typed word. In addition, with this problem, you must rear space, in order to correctly add the words that you really wanted to. There's no removable battery. It has an extremely annoying Nanny-Like function, where it will continue to change your curse words and other spellings of words, in the words 'SAFE' In addition, the Mini-USB port is really sensitive to breakage. I bought this phone, because it has a hard keyboard - where, a lot of memory internal, it runs the latest version of Android and it is still able to keep the upgrade of the OS, the lives of decent battery, support up to 2 TB of memory SD card, big screen, ect. I know that some of these problems are caused by Android, but it's a Blackberry version of the AndroidOS, so they could have customized it better. If you can buy it for about $ 150 to $ 200, then it might possibly be worth it for you. But not $700 +. I really wanted to love this phone, but I don't see lasting more then a year. The PRIV of Blackberry, is just a poorly designed phone. I could go on, but I guess you get the point. A horrible phone, with a LOT of questions!

Oh and Blackberry, stop trying to invade my privacy with your stupid Hub service! I don't want that, but I am always harassed to register for it!

The OP is a BlackBerry "troll" pure and simple. The OP groaned and then refuse to make adjustments that manage the issues. Do not confuse the OP with the facts because their mind is made.

  • Regular stream blackBerry is frozen and the voice reader is activated! Help, please!

I don't know if I accidentally hit on something, but now I can't access my blackberry classic. The pane is frozen and the voice player is activated. It is very annoying because the voice can read everything!

    Help, please!

    Thank you.

Hold the power button for about 10-15 seconds, through the countdown, through the red LED, and until the BB logo comes up again. This will reboot the unit.

  • BlackBerry Z3 how to get rid of the SMS limit

I don't think that this 'problem' is specific to the Blackberry Z3. This problem is quite annoying to say the least. I do not understand why the SMS to Blackberry Z3 is limited to seven 160 characters per message (once I exceed the limit, the message is automatically converted to MMS). Of course, there are BBM for long messages, but SMS is always universal compared to WiFi or e-mail requiring mobile data services to work. For an OS that boasts of its powerful messaging capabilities, imposing character SMS limit is unnerving. I have problems with my carrier when sending very long text messages. I do it all the time on my Android phone. Is it possible to get rid of this limit?

There is no way to get rid of the limit of the 7 messages. I'm sorry.

  • Problem of gestures Z3 sliding blackBerry

Hello and new on the forum, as well as news to BB10. I have the model Z3 and love her very much. However, these techniques of drag or gestures have me puzzled. Sometimes they work, and most of the time I find myself hitting swiping the hell out of the screeen of aggravation. Is there a way this can be tested as to work properly because it is active tactile control? I really find slip three times, 5 times or more, just to get on the hub. I can't close a form with a single blow. I realize my hitting swipe is a new technique for me, can someone help me to try to fix this very annoying problem because I'm not used to repeated attempts, to try to do something so simple as close a program or go on another tab location. I sure would appreciate it.

Let's start first of all, if you still have problems with hitting him swipe, make sure that you're from everything down. To develop good technique, I recommend placing your finger below your phone up in not even touching the phone, then slowly move your finger upwards until you hit the bottom of the phone. Continue in this slow upward path until you go to halfway to the top of the screen. If you do this and you do not get one any reaction of the phone, there is a problem with the phone. If this is the case, restart your phone by pressing and hold the power button for about 15 seconds, until you see BlackBerry on your screen. Other stuff will appear before that but do not release the button until you find the BlackBerry. I also recommend NOT using a screen protector, because they have been known to cause problems with hitting swipe actions.

That's a lot for you to read, but I hope this helps you.

  • BlackBerry Q10 Q10 browser Word Wrap issue

    Hey chief9900,

Welcome to BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

The word wrap feature is currently unavailable for Q10 of BlackBerry browser, one solution is to use the drive mode feature, see here:

  • Help blackBerry software Blackberry link = blank screen

What should I see?  All I have is a blank page when I click the icon 'help '.

I use version 1.0.0.76 BBLink;  I'm on a Windows 7 PC, all date etc. removed Java and reloaded - tests, OK.

    Anyone?  Thanks, Jim

HI, VF. I don't see this file in the directory at all and a search = nothing found... Yes I use Chrome. RIM is in my programs (x 86) folder and I see all the installed LINK stuff, but the help file you mention isn't here. Or BlackBerryLink.HTML (not in the programs, or programs (x 86)

Tried to run the BlackberryLink.Helper.exe file, but it won't work, even as an administrator. I'm feeling yet another 'remove program' and re - download?

Just tried to 'fix' download and received error Java 1723, DLL failed to load, contact your provider. ARGH! So it seems to be a Java problem, I'll try to fix this error, if I can.

Completely removed from Java, did a restart, is a download/repair for BBLink and the same rickety error code. Maybe it's a thing of Windows Installer?  Argh x 2.

«RimUsbDriverNT.0D7232B6_7904_4970_8B22 to repair...» "whatever that means.

I saw your post about the same here error report: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Link/Link-problem-installing/td-p/2134673/page/2

I'm going to my service provider. Spent too much time on this annoying problem, thank you very much, Jim

    3 hours later: FIXED IT.

    a 1723 MS forum solution:

Unregister Windows Installer and then reregister Windows Installer. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. in the menu 'Start', click on ' execute:.»

    2. in the "Open" box, type "msiexec /unreg", and then press ENTER.

    3. in the menu 'Start', click 'run '.

    4. in the "Open" box, type "msiexec/regserver", and then press ENTER.

  • Of blackBerry Smartphones suddenly gone black screen

I had my private for three days. The passage of the Passport is not without its obstacles, but overall, I'm pretty happy with it.

Since yesterday I ran into a problem where, without apparent reason, I am trying to unlock my phone, only to meet with a black screen. Slide the keyboard does nothing. Double tapping the screen he wakes up in the picture below.

    http://imgur.com/lpDKt8q

Slide up let me scroll notifications as seen here, but nothing more

    http://imgur.com/icNY0oU

So I hold the power button for 10 to 12 seconds, it resets itself, runs through the boot sequence, then back to the black screen. I have reset three times now. Yesterday when it happened I reset three times and the third time that he returned to normal.

I also did a hard reset by holding down the button for 35 seconds and let it restart.

After a conversation long and boring of two hours with the direct support of Blackberry, I used the online Android Device Manager to wipe my device. It took awhile for it to start, but when he did, I saw an Android logo that says 'clear '. It's over, I saw the clock for a brief moment, and then the screen went black.

This double tapping of time has nothing, but also hit the power button or slide the keyboard.
Connect my device to the charger briefly flashed the clock, but did not show the percentage load indicator as it had before the erase/reset.

I held the power button for 12 seconds, rebooted and loaded as usual with forms and the Android logo. Then return to the flash of the clock and the black screen.

Support this is the first they have heard of this issue. They are climbing it to a higher level of support and wait 24 to 48 hours for a response. From there, it will be either more shooting situation, or a return and replacement of disorder. That will be especially annoying for me because I live in Australia and it will mean returning to the United States and then to await their return to send it to me.

Does anyone know how to factory reset the Priv via the data cable or by pressing a key sequence?

I wonder if anyone has had this problem or can offer a solution. I hope that this thread will serve as useful to others.

    A few other notes;
-problem started at random, no not after installing any new apps
    -phone has not been dropped

    I found the solution!

After a suggestion on another forum that the problem may be caused by a magent (phone case, built car megnetic, phone support, ect) I removed the Steelie magnetic car holder I had attached to my phone at the front desk, and now the phone works perfectly again. For the moment

So to the other posters, maybe your question was caused by a megnet so. Something to keep in mind.

  • BlackBerry 10 lock screen Notifications

I use a Blackberry "BOLD" on BB 10 OS (10.3.2.2836) and have the following problem... I don't want to get notifications on my screen lock... no messages to display a preview, no icon informing me of a new message. I just want to see my messages by going to the application or the Blackberry hub.

Under settings, I already turned off notifications... also on some applications that all notifications have been disabled, and I have also disabled all notifications in the settings of the lock screen. I restarted my phone and there's always some icons mail, Linked In, Whatsapp, demonstrating the existence of a new message.

Is there anything to make them disappear... it is really annoying that I can't get rid of him.

    Help, please...

    Thank you

    Mario

Ok thank you. The way I understand it, is that you can control how these icons (for example, to view a list of new things, or do nothing), but you cannot remove them from the display on the lock screen. In the configuration you describe, all they do is you say there is something new in these applications... but with the locked screen, there is no way to see more details.

    It's just how it works.

  • How can classic BlackBerry locked out device, I contact BlackBerry?

I recently picked up classic BlackBerry my sister, but she left her theft protection, apparently you forgot his password and then remove his BlackBerry ID thought that would solve the problem (of course it doesn't have). After doing a factory reset, it has become obvious that the device will not work without unlocking the theft protection, but this is impossible because his BlackBerry ID no longer exists. I called the store where she bought the classic BlackBerry and their response has been contact BlackBerry to reactivate the account.

This seems simple enough, but in fact proved to be somewhat problematic. On the site Web of BlackBerry I get constantly referred to in the Belgian part of the site that does not exist. How can this even happen for a company of this size? For example: by clicking on the official "BlackBerry Support" link at the top of the page takes me to http://be.blackberry.com/support.html, which is just an error 404 and nothing else.

I contacted (and followed) BlackBerryHelp on Twitter and sent a DM, but after about 30 hours without response I'm getting a little impatient and also fear they will just refer me to another place.

Someone at - it experience with the account of aid and their response time? Is there another way to communicate with BlackBerry on this problem? My last resort is the call the phone number, but I would avoid that, given that the only options in Belgium are French/English and explain a problem over the phone is already quite annoying in my native language (in Dutch).

I have the original purchase at hand confirmation and you can get any other required documents, then this isn't a problem. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are a little technical, you can get your camera upward and functional by loading an old device software (which removes the protection against theft) and then load the latest version of the software again. Here are the steps:
