BlackBerry 10 flipping between AT & T LTE and emergency mode

Greetings,

I am the proud owner of a BlackBerry Z10. A few days to receive the phone, I noticed he was constantly about-face AT & T LTE and emergency mode. I couldn't make or receive calls and text messages I've sent have often received several times. Here are the steps I took to try to resolve the problem:
1. went to the AT & T store and had a new SIM card installed
2. a few days later, I went back because the problem persisted. They provided a replacement phone.
3 conducted a security wipe, part way through interrupts him and performed a clean installation of a PC using link BB.
4. called supports AT & T, who proposed to replace it with yet another phone. However, it seemed useful as I bought the original phone in Pennsylvania and he traded the first time in Texas - I don't think they would have the same 'batch' phones in geographically disparate locations.

I'm running out of ideas on what else could be the cause and would appreciate any idea that the community here could provide!

Yes, it should. But, if there is at all no cover, then SOS would be the only mode that has left him. You can always try to restart to see if this it helps find the signal. I discovered recently on mine as if I intentionally left the network radio mobile (for testing purposes) for 24 hours, then it will not re - acquire a signal the correct carrier without a reboot. Should not be the case, but it may be that the operating system continues to evolve.

Everything is possible.

Whatever the root cause, if you got your Z10 of ATT and ATT is also your service provider, they are 100% responsible for all of your formal support. It is perhaps to dig deep, and even BlackBerry can information from you. But the only way to start any formal investigation process is by you contacting ATT to support formal and potential climbing up to BlackBerry.

    I'm on AT & T.  The operating system is 4.6.0.167 (and I can't find any more recent OS for the "BOLD" AT & T).

    The latest version of the OS for the 9000 "BOLD" will allow you an option to turn off the 3G and go to 2G (EDGE) only.

    Hi, I'm new to blackberry. I just got a "BOLD", and some of the icons seem to be redundant. If someone could explain why I would really appreciate it. I had trouble getting the results of a search of forum so I apologize if this topic has been discussed recently.

    What is the difference between 'messages' (which looks like an envelope) and the other envelope with the globe on it (which appears as [email protected])?

    Can I delete one? I don't understand why there are two.

    Also, why is it "medianet" and "browser"? They aren't going to the same place? What is an AT & T thing where they try to control the universe?

    With the BlackBerry, you can have up to 10 "BIS" (BlackBerry Internet Service) email addresses, but also a company e-mail sent to your BlackBerry address.  It is also SMS (text) messages, PIN of PIIN messages and MMS messages.

    Each BIS email address gets its own icon which will appear only this e-mail by e-mail address.  The Messages icon ALL E-mail addresses sent to the BlackBerry.  It will also display all messages in pine and optionally show the SMS (text) messages and phone calls, and IM still active cats.  But there is no icon for only PIN messages.

    The fact that there is no way to separate the email from company to a simple icon is a point of contention for some users.  There is a product (Empower BES Mailbox - OTA / Web $20) which will create an icon that displays only the Enterprise email.  However, you can also create a saved search to display only the BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server) email.

    If you prefer using a simple icon of Messages or have separate icons for each email address is a matter of personal preference.  If you have only one or two emails being sent to your BlackBerry, there is probably little difference.  However, I have six accounts BIS as a BES account delivered and many prefer to have a place to look when I hear or feel that a new message has arrived.

    In addition, equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard device, I'd rather be able to use the shortcut keys to access ALL the applications on my BlackBerry.  In fact, I have everything I don't need (including Messages, all messaging icons, address book, calendar, Notepad, etc.) in a folder called hidden since I never need them!

    From the start, I try to stay calm and professional, objective. Pretty sure I missed the mark, but then, read on...

    I'm having some problems with the OS 10.3.1 update. Before someone says to the research councils, I. For hours. On various Internet sites. I would appreciate (but I'm not optimistic for) an official response from BlackBerry.

    1. I use a Z30. Carrier is Rogers Wireless (Canada) updates are off. Yet, incredibly, the update came down in any case, when I was driving, didn't know until I got home. Device to reboot and now 10.3.1xxxx is on my smartphone.

    QUESTIONS:

    1. the screen turns off. Whenever I wake up, the display is enlarged. I have to move and move and gesture to get the display to fit the screen, so I can't unlock the phone.

    2. the home screen is not editable and is the default value. Now I have to drag to the hub or my applications. Twice = 1/2 labour productivity.

    3. the assistants touted what, exactly? As far as I know is when I call via voice Bluetooth headset, the call would be (75% of the time) be done. The other 25% of the time, I tell him 'Call MOM Home' is not the same thing as "search battery charge. Yes, my bluetooth is a very expensive, side that has no problems of recognition with another device. Now, the vocal part (Assistant?) does not ALL calls. At best, it offers me suggestions, usually not related (Linda <> Tom) and wasting my time reading on several TELEPHONE NUMBERS. Good grief, if I knew that the darn phone number, I just say, call (phone number). It would be faster than the sitting through it all. In otherwise, voice Assistant something doesn't do much for me. I put it, as far as I know, to do the minimum, not interact with everything on my phone.

    4. Although the new camera app now (finally!) makes the colors more or less correctly, whereas before everything was tinged blue, I'm not a fan of the new positioning of the controls. It's ridiculous to put the video button next to the "Take a photo" button. The touch sensitivity is therefore, that I find myself video recording rather than take a picture wanted - and the time is lost. I really miss being able to touch the screen to take a photo. Now I need to aim a small dot at the bottom. If I wanted an iPhone, I would have bought an iPhone!

    5 more at the front of the camera, it is now difficult to take pictures. As in, I touch the icon to bring up the list of photos, and the last shot never appears. I have to slide to find. And in a different direction now.

    6. in the hub, in particular, the "select multiple" used to be in the middle of the menu. Now I have to scroll down to find and activate it.

    7. What is with the battery drain honking? More DIY required on my part to get it back to waiting for 4 days, that I used to enjoy?

    LACK OF UPDATED FEATURES:

    1. I was really hoping that this last updated with the NUMBER of the entry of the phone display. As job 1, 2 work, etc. I find it helpful to assign the direct number always as job 1, then toll-free as job 2, reception work 3, home knit 4, and so on. Then it is easy to use (or was) to call the number I want without knowing what really is the number of votes. I was hoping also that the update which would therefore eliminate offensive message 'next time, just say call xxxxx Mobile 2' or something else. I'm bloody well would be if there was anything in contacts to display the sequence of numbers.

    2 calendar. Seriously, why can't set a reminder for somewhere between 3 and 7 days? I'm so tired of defining a day (7-3), making the calculation in my head to work around weekends or other events) and then having to update the reminder when I get to the range of BlackBerry - approved 3 days. Other smart phones allow a custom setting. I would also ask, put first the custom reminder. We do not do scroll all the way down to find!

    3. I would like to put my icons used on the fricking HOME SCREEN! I don't like the cutesy pictures. I'm trying to do my job more quickly and easily as possible.

    4. fix the darn voice control mechanism. I bought expensive pieces of Bluetooth. All I want to do is voice component. That's all.

    5. get some control over the spelling. There is no way to change the words that are "learned" through the monitoring of its use.

    6. enough with the U.S. - marketing. Mountain time is Mountain time. Not US - MST. I'm not picking up something like that, I don't like that who commits an offence. He is as stupid as the settting (like Apple) zones in the "Calgary, Alberta." I do not live in Calgary. I don't live in the GENERIC Mountain time zone.

    7. taking the floor, I also speak English. Not American English U.S. - spelling. How about giving some love to the Canada

    8. give me the option to restore the update. Or at least choose what parts I want.

    9 extend the supported file formats. At this stage, I can only load documents on my smartphone if they are Adobe or Microsoft Office. Here's the thing - I operates in the universe of Corel WordPerfect. If the Z30 is limited in what I can / can not do with it. Why the hell can't I just copy my FILES to my phone? Even if I can't change them, I can use the chip memory 64 GB huge like a flash drive to take my files with me when I travel. I don't always take a computer... sometimes I use which is destined. More have them on the phone SHOULD allow me to email them or send in other ways... whether or not BlackBerry to read.

    REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE:

    Best - out an immediate UPDATE to solve these problems and to add the features I pointed out above. I'm probably not the only one faced with limitations integrated interface and the information screens.

    Please tell me how I can restore / uninstall / whether this "update".

    I shudder to think that the only solution is to backup, recovery, and then reload the Z30. Others have tried and failed.

    MORE VENTILATION;

    The only reason why I'm still on BlackBerry, it's that the questions and to some extent a difference of perspective in regard to the available phone / features are even less problematic on BB Z30, they're on ios or android platforms. Quite in my opinion. But then, I'm the one with a frustration level into the red zone.

    Go into your settings > accessibility > and disable Mode magnify.

    If you do this, I would like to read the rest of your post and see what I can help with... and Yes, staying quiet is a great feature... I understand that you might be frustrated.

    I thought.  I restarted many wet BlackBerrys.  However, it is imperative that the device removed battery immediately and do not have rear power until completely dry.  If the device cannot be disassembled it may take several days in a warm place or in a bag of uncooked rice.

    Most likely, the device is cooked and it probably happened when you it turned on just a few hours after getting wet.   You can give him a little more time to dry, but it is very likely that it's done.  I'm sorry.

    Here's my problem. I'm pulling upward of event of a MySQL database files that have a date range during which the event will last. I want all the events that have a scope that today's date is located between to display, and therefore those who should not be ignored. When I use cfif statements to filter records via the operators LTE and GTE, all values that correspond to the specifications are returned, with the exception of all events on that today is the date of the first or last date. I have attached a very simplified version of the code. Can someone explain why this is happening?

    The solution is no longer escapes me.
    The cause of this problem was not in the code at all... It turns out that the app that I had designed to insert the start and end dates put bogus info in the db...
    This is what was supposed to be inserted on 2008-06-26.
    Formatting is not even necessary to evaluate the dates, the code that I currently use for the simplified version.

  • New window creates a gap between the Favorites (top) and tabs (bottom)

    19/12/14 bug Firefox began to occur:

    • When having only 1 window open and opening tabs behaves normally.
    • However, when you open a new window of the space between the bookmarks (top) and tabs (bottom) spans all windows. Its boring.

    So far only challenge is to just close and open 1 single window, or to use the module 'Classic theme restaurateur' and switch the tabs position from the bottom to the top, but all new windows will open the gap again.

    Unfortunately, none of these options works, so far, use 'CTR' and turn the legs up (default) allows the opening of new windows without gaps.
    Seems to be some sort of bug recently showing on CTR.

    You will need to find a way to contact the developer to let them know.

    EDIT: It seems to be resolved, seems a new version was released and the problem disappeared. Thank you very much for the help.

  • YouTube videos are green for a few seconds when they start, quickly moving and switch between fullscreen and windowed mode

    suddenly, last night something happened with youtube. whenever I run a video on youtube its green for a few seconds, then it goes back to normal. its also green when I fast forward/jump and when I change between full screen and windowed. I linked to a screenshot of how it looks as if I googled this problem I find something else where people get a green screen but no picture at all and that it lasts the entire video.

    I tried updating the drivers for my graphics card. I tried to play on my nvidia card rather than use my intel graphics hd 4600 and still got the same result, but instead to get a green image, it was really dark almost black. I also tried to reinstall flash even downgrade to an earlier version, but nothing does. and the strange thing is that I only have this problem on youtube and only through firefox so I even tried reinstalling firefox, but that did not work either

    I found 2 things of this kind of help.
    the first solution is to disable hardware acceleration, but instead to get a green image for a few seconds, image frozen for the same period of time and then play and she is like when its Green, when I start it up, jump and change to full or windowed.

    the second solution I found in support for mozilla, to change the HTML5 player. But even if this player works great I really like it. for some reason any the break from the drive when I change between full screen and windowed mode and I don't like these pop-up windows get you that its now in full screen and I can press ESC to quit.

    YouTube uses a technology that has chopped videos in individual pieces, which is probably video serve more easily, but could create more opportunities for issues when moving in the video. There is an add-on called Center of YouTube that allows you to disable this technology and back to the days of one big file. Might be worth a try.

    Use AirDrop to send the contents of your Mac - Apple Support

    There are some work around to try airdrop work:

    1. Turn off Bluetooth on your Mac.
    2. Delete /Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist
    3. Re-turn on Bluetooth
