  UPDATE:

  My blackberry world works now and I did not do anything else to do the sorting. It seems that regular maintenance is done about it. I would have been nice for us users of BlackBerry phones to be kept informed when there is a scheduled maintenance just if we are aware and in an emergency and we can not use phones...

  The line you mentioned "this id already exits" appears on the screen when we try to create the new code. Better to try to connect with your ID and password rather than create a new one.

• BlackBerry Smartphones keeping old calendar events in Outlook and Storm2

  Is there a way to keep all appointments, regardless of age on Outlook and my Storm2?

  Just got my Storm2.  Downloaded/installed the latest office software.  Allowed to update the Storm2 OS via USB, the desktop software.  Desktop software configured to synchronize my Outlook 2003 (no Exchange involved, only local server).  I tried all the dates on the calendar (including former appointments, etc) to be both Outlook and the Storm2. On the first synchronization, all the calendar events appeared to transfer fine from Outlook to the Storm2.  However, on subsequent synchronizations, the desktop software apparently wants to delete all appointments of old (about 2 200) in Outlook.

  For good measure, I did a hard reset on the Storm2 after changing the option «forever» you described. Then I did a synchronization one-way calendar to recover older events calendar on the Storm2.  When I've reconfigured the synchronization two-way calendar, I also did "Remove alarm for items being passed" has not been checked.   So far so good

• Z30 blackBerry screen has reduced in size...

  The bottom of my screen in portrait mode has a strip of 1 cm black on it. This blocks the functions, but if you know where they are, they can still be used.   First, use the virtual Expert BlackBerry application to test the screen. If the screen test is a PASS, then you can try and device restart press and hold both Volume keys until the powers of the unit off.

  If the reboot resolves the problem, I suggest that you download the latest version of BlackBerry Link to your computer and perform a clean OS reload.

  Okay so I recently bought a blackberry 9800 torch of my friend, its not in poor condition but it has a few scratches on it. the phone also worked well for her.

  This morning, installed an app to rename my files of music, called MTagz or something like that

  directly after the installation, a grey box with a blue loading circle sign and the word loading it appeared. I thought he'd go after a while, but long story short, he didn't.

  Ive tried to restart and turn my phone off, then on, but it won't work. If I could, I would like to uninstall the app, but my phone is completely insensitive.

  Regarding your question as stated, I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

  It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

  If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

  But if the behavior continues mode without failure, you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup of your PC... Please see the Backup link in my sig auto on this post for instructions.

  I received an email from BB (RIM) yesterday claiming that e-mail messages are no longer awarded to my camera and asking me to confirm my password (on my device or on the website of BB).  I have no idea what the password and have tried my two usual passwrods, netiher who works.  No idea how I can get around this?

  Normally, it's quite intentional. For security reasons, password reset emails are not delivered to the BB. Instead, you must be able to access this account of e-mail (the one registered to BIS) from somewhere else. But, if the email account is a "hosted" email (e.g., @bb, @carrier, etc.), then email accounts are only accessible via the BB... catch 22!   Come to think of it, it is perhaps the real source of the problem. BIS is authenticated unto itself because it stores your email credentials. When you launched the BIS 'forgot password', which may well have cancelled password BIS prior, making it invalid even from the interface for device now. Thus, it can leave get you (on the device) as many as strikes the powers of e-mail, but then it fails when he tries to move towards the BIS server, because the credentials that are stored for the BIS on the device is no longer matches what the server has for BIS (since you launched the BIS 'forgot password').

  I don't know if the GPS works at all the or not depends on whether the carrier allows him. But even if they do, it can be quite risky. I have Verizon in the United States and subscribe to the GPS service. I think it's pretty good - when it works. The biggest problem is that every four or five days about it does connect to GPS in the service of Verizon GPS signals, nothing else that the error messages "can not connect", and I do the reset drill "remove the battery and let it sit for a very long time" in order to resume service. Oddly, it's going to walk very well on Google Maps in this condition, but not on the traditional GPS. Would like to know the cause, since it seems that I am still an urgent need for GPS when he chooses to do not.   Given that the wipe does not resolve A key work.  I suggest you contact your network service provider for repair/Exchange options.
