BlackBerry Smartphones has asked to verify my password
Hello
I received an email from BB (RIM) yesterday claiming that e-mail messages are no longer awarded to my camera and asking me to confirm my password (on my device or on the website of BB). I have no idea what the password and have tried my two usual passwrods, netiher who works. No idea how I can get around this?
Thank you very much

(1) the Blackberry Internet Service - unfortunately, I can't connect to it that I don't remember the password. When I click on the forgot password link, it says it will send my password on my BB device, but again, I have not received this message.
Normally, it's quite intentional. For security reasons, password reset emails are not delivered to the BB. Instead, you must be able to access this account of e-mail (the one registered to BIS) from somewhere else. But, if the email account is a "hosted" email (e.g., @bb, @carrier, etc.), then email accounts are only accessible via the BB... catch 22! What you have to do is to contact your carrier to reset your BIS credentials... your carrier manages your BIS account for you and should be able to reset the account for you, or set up a redirect so that the reset password email is an account, you can access other than the BB.
Come to think of it, it is perhaps the real source of the problem. BIS is authenticated unto itself because it stores your email credentials. When you launched the BIS 'forgot password', which may well have cancelled password BIS prior, making it invalid even from the interface for device now. Thus, it can leave get you (on the device) as many as strikes the powers of e-mail, but then it fails when he tries to move towards the BIS server, because the credentials that are stored for the BIS on the device is no longer matches what the server has for BIS (since you launched the BIS 'forgot password').
Overall, I think you should ring up your carrier now... only they can look 'behind the scenes' their BIS system and your BIS account. If my suspicions about the prior BIS credentials being now invalid (because of the ' forgotten password'), then you need even more to address this issue directly in their system.
Good luck!

I am writing from Peru. in January, I got an email from Apple advising me to change my email associated with my Apple ID and password. I did it. But since the tthen all the days I turn on my IPhone or IPad I'm asked to verify my password of my Apple which seems to be always related to old email ID! It's really boring to do so every day. I turned on my Apple TV, and he asked the iTunes Sore for former Apple ID password once again. I don't really know what to do. What, then, is the pint to change your email address linked to the ID and the password if it does not recognize the new password.
Are you sure that the email you received in January was Apple, not a phishing attempt to try to get your account and payment details?
If it was authentic, then after changing you connected everywhere wherever you use it and on the account: what to do when you have changed your Apple ID email address or password - Apple support ?

My screen blackBerry Smartphones has been frozen all day? Help, please!
Okay so I recently bought a blackberry 9800 torch of my friend, its not in poor condition but it has a few scratches on it. the phone also worked well for her.
This morning, installed an app to rename my files of music, called MTagz or something like that
directly after the installation, a grey box with a blue loading circle sign and the word loading it appeared. I thought he'd go after a while, but long story short, he didn't.
Ive tried to restart and turn my phone off, then on, but it won't work. If I could, I would like to uninstall the app, but my phone is completely insensitive.
I can enter my PIN and password, but as soon as the shoes at the same time the touch screen home screen and keyboard do not work. I can also press the menu button to switch between windows, but when these windows open again I can't do anything.
Thanks for your help
Hello and welcome to the community!
Given your procurement method, I recommend that to start here:
- KB05099 Steps to take before selling or after the purchase of a used BlackBerry smartphone
Ensure that all measures are properly carried out in order to completely divorce the BB from accounts of friends and thus to be able to create entirely what you need for you alone.
Regarding your question as stated, I recommend that you try to start safe mode:
- KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe
It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.
If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.
But if the behavior continues mode without failure, you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup of your PC... Please see the Backup link in my sig auto on this post for instructions.

Theme of blackBerry Smartphones has frozen my blackberry
I downloaded a theme on the morning of the bb app world now my phone is frozen. Its stuck on the main screen and it is locked. All buttons are inadmissible unless the caps lock, shift, and alt button. I tried removing the battery and putting it back on nothing has changed. It just says: initializing with a green circle, and that's it.
After downloading the theme, he asked if I wanted to apply, this small clock for the load came out. The phone took the time to apply so I went to remove the other themes to free memory to make it faster. After you remove the other theme, it got stuck on authentication for a long time, so I took out the battery. When you restart the bb the new theme has been applied, and now the phone is stuck on the main screen. Help, please!

Browser blackBerry Smartphones has cuts/white blanks?
My Torch 9800 is three months old now, and last week, the browser started to act weird. In any website I'll twitter, yahoo homepage or tumblr, there's always the whitespace or cuts that doesn't let me see the whole page. Is not that a Cup, I scroll down there will be white discounts every now and then. It is not something bad internet connection either, I tried to test it located next to our router with full signal and always the page load like that.
It is not a centre for Blackberry here in the Philippines and the closest is Hong Kong or Singapore. The telecom brand I got the phone to advised me to try to reset my phone back to the factory settings, while perhaps this glitch could clarify. I asked them if it was something that could be solved by putting up-to-date or is the result of accidentally change some options of the phone. In the end they told me back toward the top of my phone, it brings them so they could restore it to factory settings, bad comes to worse that he is still not back to normal, since it is still under warranty, they'll gladly give me a new.
ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS? It has something to do with the update? lack of storage space? accidentally change browser options/settings?
Here are the links of what it looks like. I took the liberty of the screen it munching that guys can understand what im trying to say

my blackberry phone has been stolen since February 2012. I bought a new 1 August 2013 I want user my id of previous phone on my new phone, but it keeps telling me that these id already exists. How can I remove from my stolen device and make use of this id on my new camera.
Hello
The line you mentioned "this id already exits" appears on the screen when we try to create the new code. Better to try to connect with your ID and password rather than create a new one.
Thank you for your Post...!

Email to blackBerry Smartphones has stopped working! The problem is NOT solved!
My BB 9780 was working fine a few weeks ago and then stopped my emails.
I have not added any application or change anything
I tried this service book record thing, out of battery, removal of e-mails and trying to set them up again (which doesn't work now) and nothing
So no idea?
I'm tired of these bugs... I would really like to have a phone that can receive emails, otherwise it will become a big paperweight
Hello and welcome to the community!
I know you said you tried some things, but I don't know if you've done these steps exactly. Therefore, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):
(1) registry HRT
- KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
- Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application
(2) remove and return Service directories
- KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
- If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
- KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
- Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.
(3) restart to take batt
- With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.
I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS configuration for these accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.
Good luck!

My phone blackBerry Smartphones has a lock of business or something?
I bought a Blackberry 8830 we HAVE on ebay and they can't push the books of service to me because of some lock on the phone that a company put on? Is there a way THAT RIM can help me with this so I can use the Internet and e-mail and other applications on my phone?
Ouch... the pain of buying used. Here is a KB with some information for you:
KB05099 Steps to take before selling it, or after buying a used BlackBerry smartphone
Unfortunately, in your case, is that part of it... you need to remove the it policy which is latent on the device. Here are some procedures that may (or may not) work:
http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/Rim/Board/message?message.UID=269661#U269661
http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/How_do_I_remove_the_IT_Policy_on_my_BlackBerry%3F
In all cases - wait that your BB will liquidate as fees and clean. This means that if you ever put anything on it, it will be lost.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.

BlackBerry Smartphones to ask the Bluetooth password - I never put a?
My blackberry 8830 is WE constantly ask me password to connect to a hands free device my Acura numeric or alphanumeric. The problem is that I never put a. How I can I reset the password or disable the feature?
Thank you!
Thanks for the reply on the default code. I determined that the problem was with the Acura and not the phone. I went and deleted all pairs of phones. I still had questions: alert prompts because it kept out me. However, I was finally able to pass through the guests, to establish an access code and restore my bluetooth connection. Not a fun of the process, but I should be good to go.

BlackBerry smartphones keeps asking for a password
My 8830 asks me a password whenever I have turn off and turn back on again. I entered the settings and disabled the password but no change. Help please!
Access code and passwords are two very different things.
The PIN is a security code 4 digit with respect to the SIM card.
Once you put in wrong 3 times, it will ask for a PUK code. This is obtained from your carrier by quoting your mobile phone number.
To activate PIN request, depending on what device you have, should be the instructions below
Scroll down to Options > Advanced Options > Sim Card
* Press the menu button * > select disable security. You will need to enter the PIN code to confirm.
Let me know how you go.

BlackBerry smartphones IS INSTALLING IN BB PROTECT PASSWORD RESET RESET THE DEVICE PASSWORD
1st post ever.
BB TORCH 9800 IS RUNNING ON T-MOBILE UK NETWORK PIN PROTECTED
I started with the BB BOLD in 2009 and moved to BB TORCH 2011 when I had an option of upgrading, so I'm pretty familiar with BB.
My device is protected by BB and there's the option of password reset on the leg for the identification of BB. What I'm not clear all is if this resets the password to access BB Protect or it can reset the password for the device. I'm on my attempt at entry 9 password, and here's how I got here.
Summer using the phone as normal through today. I have the protect of spindle of 10 minutes, i.e. whenever the phone is idle, he hangs himself. PIN protection also need to install the software etc, so I must have unlocked the phone at least 12 times or more today.
As usual, I've unlocked the phone 2 hours ago to send and receive BBM PINES of a couple of friends who have stopped. The only thing that struck me is that one of them used a BB Pearl and the BBM PIN is all non-alphanumeric numbers. After they were gone, thought I'd check on my emails and tried to unlock the phone as usual, and he kept on the return "Incorrect password." I couldn't believe it that's a pin Digital and thought it was a mistake and continued.
By my 7th attempt, put the sim in a spare handset and called my operator T-Mobile, they said there was nothing they could do, I had to enter in contact with the RIM. Put the sim card in my BB Torch and gave him another chance (at that time it asks you to type in "blackberry" and your password in clear text)
Fortunately, I had BB protect enabled, I signed the and saved my camera.
Under the my device tab, you can change the password for the device. T o do you need to enter the existing password (known), enter a new password and then click on the locking device. Done everything that he went and came back to say this device has failed.
Tried to unlock the unit 9th attempt.
What are my options?

The BlackBerryID reset password affects ONLY the password of the BlackBerryID... NO password security of the device itself. Two completely different things.

It's weird, but not impossible. I've seen a lot of BlackBerry wants a digital-only PIN. Not much.
It has nothing to do with you the problem.
I guess it's that you have entered your only security digital password wrong... only not by pressing the ALT key to make the number.
Often users with more than one digit in their password will only press the ALT key to the first digit and not those who follow, so for example, if your password "1234", you could put pressure on 'Alt 1234 "on the device, making the real password to be"1st".
Who is? It sounds familiar to your use?
In order to verify the manner in which you enter your password on the device... do you think that you enter several numbers, but in fact are not?

Hello from blackBerry Smartphones I ask a new Blackberry
You can't imagine how much trash this phone is. In fact, I have no idea why I still have another request. Obviously, the phone itself is not the worst in the world, but combined with Verizon and their stupid rule 'no message picture', it makes life very frusterating for me. I hated this phone since the day wherever I got it, and today I got a new reason to become an enemy to blackberry 8830. WARNING: I like the type of blackberry phone. I think he has some good ideas. But there are still a few features that are missing in the 8830 which makes it unusable for my lifestyle. That's why I'm asking a Blackberry Pearl since this blackberry broke up after that I did absolutely NOTHING for her.
Here is what happened:
My friend and I were at the library. He tried to unlock my phone. My phone is only 5 tries, then supposedly, according to the settings that I have for it, is supposed to "lock" for 5 minutes.
"Hey Kevin," my friend said to me ' what happens when I go wrong 5 times?
"Don't know that I've never tried. Lemée see here»
I took the phone from her and something like "laetitia", random letters that clearly weren't my password entered. Suddenly, my phone says «wiping...» 0%... 17%... 25% "I laughed and said" Oh no! " It's wipe my memory"in a way pleasant, and my friend is interested even more. I thought it was a complex system of lock-up, only to find out...
35%... 57%... 83%... 92%... 100%
My phone turns off. When I turned it back on, my phone has a new image of the hourglass. She was different from the other hourglass that I had used previously. I got a little worried. "What the * beep *" I said quietly.
It turns out that my phone was erased
all my contacts
all my settings
My theme (which explains why the hourglass was different)
all my music
all my ringtones (except for the blackberry default ones)
all my old text messages (my memories)
I am unable to change my theme, although I'm trying to figure that out as we speak, but due to the nature of this topic I also
No access to Blackberry Internet browser
No access to Brickbreaker
No access to one of my old Blackberry applications (which none had been installed recently)
No access to the media player.
So please, someone give me a reasonable explanation before I have to actually call RIM and request a new phone; If this isn't a Pearl at least one similar to this one, so I can be sure such thing never happen again.
I don't know what I'll do without these contacts, it is my biggest concern. Some of these people were friends over long distances that I do not have access to get the number of.
I made the assumption that there is no way to solve this problem. But maybe someone could be an Angel and explain a solution.
Thank you
Kevin.

Your settings does not have BlackBerry lock after 5 attempts, your settings make it DRY after 5 attempts. If you didn't know that a BlackBerry wipes after putting in an incorrect amount password attempts, so you don't have the search feature. It's a BlackBerry feature that was on all the phones that I never treated.
'I wonder what happens when I press that button that says do not touch' just do not touch the button, or if you're curious, google it.

Sorry, I guess the only advice that can be given here is, be more careful with that let you play with your machine. But the unit seems to work fine.

BlackBerry smartphones can not disable the device password!
I was playing with my Storm the weekend and decided to apply a password to the device. Now I can't turn it off and I hate that I am constantly asked for her. When I go to 'Options', then 'password' it has not the ability to disable the password feature. The toggle button at the top of the password page is soft gray with a tiny tiny red lock next to her and I can't click on the button. The only thing I can do is to change the password. Any suggestions? !!
I solved my problem. I did a reset of the handset and that got rid of the option activate the password. However, when I did a backup of subsequent restoration of the handset, I was careful to choose only what I wanted really saved (address book, calendar, etc.). If oyu make a full backup that you will get the active password once you restore again.
