BlackBerry 8310 Smartphone of Smartphones (BB has been DEAD for upgrading applications that use the Device Manager)

Hello, recently I wanted to install an application but got an error message saying AJAX is not supported on your platform - after checking the forums on this site, I found that I need to upgrade to 4.5.X and for that I downloaded from this site the "8310M_PBr4.5.0_rel52_PL2.7.0.55_A4.5.0.37 [1].

When I connect the device to the computer, I got the message from device manager asking if I want to upgrade applications to current version,

I did it-but suddenly during the upgrade process, my blackberry is turned off and since impossible to turn it on again, it looks like my smart phone is completely dead! There's just a red light on the top flashing...

That's all just amazing, because I have no idea why this happened because I used this official site and Device Manager was the one I downloaded from this site for 8310 Smartphone

  • After updating Firefox, the font on my screen size has been reduced for all applications. How can I increase the size of the font on my screen?

    After the update, the next screen shows all the letters in smaller characters, with fewer pixels. All screens are like that now, and I found nothing in Firefox Help content. It is a problem because I have vision problems. So, how can I increase the font size that had it before? My screen is approximately 20 inches wide.

       Also, any chance I can change all the font to Arial instead of Times New Roman?

    Have you tried to increase the amount of zoom by pressing on CTRL and + a few times? This article will show you how to use the Zoom.

  • Safari displays "the network connection has been lost" for all files flv on the internet.  Firefox reads all

    I've upgraded to the latest version of Flash to correct what I thought was a problem in Firefox.  This problem turned out to be something else but now Safari will not play ANY flash content.  I uninstalled and reinstalled several times.  I even installed an earlier version.  All the these have exactly the same result.  Flash works in Firefox, but not in Safari.  I cleared the cache.  I entered the settings of flash securty and remove all the content.  Nothing seems to change this.  Anyone have any ideas?

    Never mind.  Stupid stupid stupid.  There was a firewall rule blocks flash.  I don't know why it worked in Firefox but when I unchecked, fixed it.

Before I put in our web server, I want to test it on a Blackberry 8300 and 8900 emulators. Is this possible? I developed this web application using spring on Netbeans IDE, i.e. no special tool Blackberry.

    I did the Simulator works well, but in another installation of Tomcat and Eclipse-Tomcat-Blackberry Simulator running the port. ELL, it works unless I have some JavaScript problems, so :-)

    Thanks to the Adobe team for the launch of the app PS difficulty. I downloaded and immediately tried and was astonished to see what he could do. After that I saved my edit of a photo film to my iPhone and the application Exift to verify its Exif data, I was shocked to discover the Exif data of the photo has been removed for most.     Hi Paul, Fix currently does not record the metadata for the exported image. This is something that we are looking at adding in a later version.

    Hi, my first post & request!

    I have a 8310 provided by my work, and because it is provided by them (via O2) there seems to be some things locked on it to minimize our manipulation!  ...... I bought a 8 GB Micro-SDHC card for her with the intention of using it for music, but every time I try to download music on it can I get it only accept/recognize about 2.5 GB of music downloaded to it!

    When synchronization via the Device Manager, it will accept only the 2.5 GB. If it copies the music files using a card reader, it will only 'see' a part of which is copied...

    When you look in the 'Media Card' from the 'options' section, it recognizes the card and shows 7.4 GB of total space. The card holder is 'On', no encryption, mass storage 'On', etc. etc.,.

    It said that its operating system is v4.2.2.181

    Any ideas as to where I'm wrong? or what can be done to solve my problems?

Now when I plug my phone to my pc after receiving the error, the media manager is says no device connected, when I try the find your device option he finds nothing.  The Device Manager on my pc displays "unknown device" plugged into the usb port.  I also tried all the usb ports on my pc.  can someone help me?

  • Switching devices blackBerry Smartphones using the Desktop Manager

    I just got my Torch 9800 replacement since my first only the battery was drainning (apparently a common problem).

    Until I returned my old Torch 9800 I backed up and also used the device switch option in Desktop Manager. When it asked me to connect the new device, I unplugged the old camera, he took to the shop orange and then plugged my new camera.

    Then an error has occurred and asked me to update the software on the new device. I did it... and then when I use switching devices, it asks me to connect the current device but the problem is... I don't have the camera more.

    As I backed up all the data, I did a restore. He restored most of the data, but it has not restored my apps.

    Any idea on how I can do?

    Ah... never mind. While the device switch Wizard can indeed move a few apps, the backup/restore process does not have applications. So, in the State you are in, you must go to the source of your applications and re - get them. If you by AppWorld, the process is very smooth:

    If you have from other sources, then you should see if these sources are a simple way for you. I hope you have good record of all your activation keys... and some will indeed have to be regenerated some developers to attach the key on the BB SPINDLE, which is now different since you have a new device.

  • BlackBerry Bold 9000 Blackberry Smartphones - could not load any software and unable to use the phone

    I have a blackberry bold 9000 and has been updated from the last app on this subject yesterday. Due to the low battrey my laptop turns off until the software has been installed to prperly. I tried the following:

    (1) to take the battrey and turn on the phone and tried to load the software again but that doesn't seem to work because the software does not recognize my phone it says unknown device.

    (2) I tried to use the option of updating the Web site, but also, which doesn't seem to work

    The display shows the following message appears when turned on.

    The application's permissions:

    The driving security application tries to access the information from the phone. I can't move the trackball on the appropriate option.

    Not really sure if there is a way to solve this problem.

    Help will be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.

    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life.

    Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

    NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.

    Just select the appropriate type of carrier and network, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.

    I've updated de.141.151 and just after the update has been made, whenever I try to connect my BB via USB, I get the message says:

    "Unrecognized USB device".
    The USB devices for computer mark attaached has malufunctioned and windows does not recognize it. "

    I tried cutting things:

    -Restart of BB

    -Restart the PC

    -Repair the current installation of Desktop Manager

    -Restore an older version of the Desktop Manager version

    PS: it is not unknown devices in the 'Device Manager' of the pc so there is nothing to uninstall and reinstall

    All are taken out with no results,

    any suggestions?

    Found the solution, remove the battery after the closure of the DM, connect the usb cable and then replace the battery, the pc will read it.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones New - fatal error during the first update by using the Office Manager phone

    During my first update using the Desktop Manager, there were 13 steps, and I had to unplug to half way through.

    Now when I try to repeat the process, the update gets steps 1-6 and just after reconnecting to JVM (step 6) I get a "fatal error update device software, please try again" I tried several times and it always stops in the same place.  The phone then has the radio turned off, and I have to restore the connections.

    I'm not an irritable person, so any help would be appreciated.

    Never disconnect during an update. Never.

    This is therefore a new phone, follow the instructions below.

    First, remove the battery from the BlackBerry when lit, to subject a minuite, replace and see if it restarts. If this is not the case, continue below.

    First find your operator and the system operating file that you want to use.
