  I'm using BB desktop for Mac v 2.2.1 (version 7) to synchronize my Bold 9700 v5.0.0.862 on the music, calendar, notes and contacts.

  the music is well synchronized with itunes, calendar with my Mac (OS = Lion) calendar book, notes are also synchronized, but my "BOLD" contacts are not synchronized: my Mac address book remains empty.

  During the synchronization files, Office BB engine said of contacts synchronization software is started, it's over, but nothing is added to the address book.

  Disable/remove your Verizon Wireless software or contact Verizon for help with this error. Posts like this occur generally when third-party utilities are used to manage connections and issues must be resolved by the Distributor, because they are often specific to that software.

  Verizon support suggest that you go in the Options Internet/Control Panel and on the Connections tab, check the option "never establish a connection" is selected.

  There is a thread on the forum which explains how to create tables within a stored procedure (How to create a table in a stored procedure , however, it does create a table as such, but not how to use it (insert, select, update, etc.) the table in the stored procedure.) Looking around and in the light of the tests, it seems that you need to use dynamic SQL statements to execute ddl in a stored procedure in Oracle DB. In addition, it also seems that you cannot use dynamic SQL statements for reuse (insert, select, update, etc.) the table that was created in the stored procedure? Is this really the case?
  
  If this is the case, I am afraid that if tables cannot be 'created and used"in a stored procedure using the dynamic SQL, as is the case with most of the servers of DB dynamic SQL is not a part of the implementation plan and, therefore, is quite expensive (slow). This is the case with Oracle, and if yes what is the performance impact? (Apparently, with Informix, yield loss is about 3 - 4 times, MS SQL - 4 - 5 times and so on).

  Unfortunately, I am yet to discover "that seeks to" using temporary tables inside stored procedures. I'm helping a migration from MySQL to Oracle DB, and this was one of the dilemmas encountered. I'll post what is the attempt, when more.

  In Oracle, we use [global temporary Tables | http://www.psoug.org/reference/OLD/gtt.html?PHPSESSID=67b3adaeaf970906c5e037b23ed380c2] aka TWG these tables need only be created once everything like a normal table, but they act differently when they are used. The data inserted in TWG will be visible at the session that inserted data, allowing you to use the table for their own temporary needs while not collide with them of all sessions. The data of the TWG will be automatically deleted (if not deleted programmatically) when a) a commit is issued or b) the session ends according to the parameter that is used during the creation of the TWG. There is no real need in Oracle to create tables dynamically in code.

  I noticed that many people say that the "Creation of the tables within a stored procedure" is not a good idea, but nobody seems necessarily explain why? Think you could elaborate a little bit? Would be appreciated.

  The main reason is that when you come to compile PL/SQL code on the database, all explicit references to tables in the code must correspond to an existing table, otherwise a djab error will occur. This is necessary so that Oracle can validate the columns that are referenced, the data types of those columns etc.. These compilation controls are an important element to ensure that the compiled code is as error free as possible (there is no accounting for the logic of programmers though ;)).

  If you start to create tables dynamically in your PL/SQL code, so any time you want to reference this table you must ensure that you write your SQL queries dynamically too. Once you start doing this, then Oracle will not be able to validate your SQL syntax, check the types of data or SQL logic. This makes your code more difficult to write and harder to debug, because inevitably it contains errors. It also means that for example if you want to write a simple query to get that one out in a variable value (which would take a single line of SQL with static tables), you end up writing a dynamic slider all for her. Very heavy and very messy. You also get the situation in which, if you create tables dynamically in the code, you are also likely to drop tables dynamically in code. If it is a fixed table name, then in an environment multi-user, you get in a mess well when different user sessions are trying to determine if the table exists already or is the last one to use so they can drop etc. What headache! If you create tables with table names, then variable Dynamics not only make you a lot end up creating (and falling) of objects on the database, which can cause an overload on the update of the data dictionary, but how can ensure you that you clean the tables, if your code has an exception any. Indeed, you'll find yourself with redundant tables lying around on your database, may contain sensitive data that should be removed.

  With the TWG, you have none of these issues.

  Also, what is the impact on the performance of the dynamic SQL statements in Oracle? I read some contrasting opinions, some indicating that it is not a lot of difference between static SQL and SQL dynamic in more recent versions of Oracle DB (Re: why dynamic sql is slower than static sql is this true?)

  When the query runs on the database, there will be no difference in performance because it is just a request for enforcement in the SQL engine. Performance problems may occur if your dynamic query is not binding variable in the query correctly (because this would cause difficult analysis of the query rather than sweet), and also the extra time, to dynamically write the query running.

  Another risk of dynamic query is SQL injection which may result in a security risk on the database.

  Good programming will have little need for the tables of dynamically created dynamically or SQL.

  I can't say what OS you're on, but if I remember correctly the last OS for this model was the one where there was no possibility to make it work on WiFi only. These levels of devices/OS required an active subscription from a company to a data plan BB in order to use all services, even via WiFi only.

  Hello. Greetings. I have a question that is quite tricky and can not understand of I'vedone research on the internet with different keywords. So here's my situation:

  0. my old phone is Blackberry Bold 9780. Last OS I use is Blackberry 7.0 I think (already have Wi - Fi free call)

  1. I bought a new phone, Sony Xperia Z1. I opened the BBM on it. Then I entered Blackberry ID , I've used previously.

  2. after entering my Blackberry ID, I got transferred all BBM stuff in my Xperia Z1, including the contacts and groups that I have in my Bold 9780.

  3. I just tested for send messages in my Xperia Z1 BBM contact list and ask which showed my PIN. He said that only displayed a new (7xxxxxx), instead of my old one (2xxxxxx).

  4. Meanwhile, since I bought Xperia Z1, I have kept my old phone Bold 9780 without wiping or same nothing change and just leave it as its last condition without SIM card (it says "Insert SIM card"). Since I never used data connections , I still have my old BBM chats and contacts in there.

  5. my 5 year old son accidentally use my Bold 9780 of BBM and sent a lot of messages in people in contacts of the Bold 9780 BBM, although he did not use the SIM card. And Yes, the messages he sent chat appears with the icon of the clock (pending to be delivered). But I really hope that the messages will not be sent because the words are not necessary to read.

  Question (s):

  * What happens if I turn on my Wi - Fi connection for my Bold 9780?

  * Will be messages sent from my Bold 9780?

  * Should I just immediately remove contacts on BBM to my Bold 9780? (because I know all the messages I've sent to people will be deleted as well if I delete their contact, and it works)

  * ... And last confusion is, if I have to delete my Bold 9780 BBM contacts, should I remove my Z1 xperia as well since I use the same Blackberry ID to avoid messages sent in other?

  -nothing will happen if you turn on wifi. You can able to browse the internet, but you will not be able to use BlackBerry data services.
  -No, the messages will not be delivered as there is no sim card and your BBM contacts were automatically transferred to the mobile network to your new phone.
  -no need. It not there no more account BBM in your old. You're good, no worries.

  With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  1) register HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

  2) books of forwarding Service

  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

  3) restart

  • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
  • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

  First the screen of my Blackberry would freeze upwards and it wouldn't let me do anything for a few minutes, so I had to take my battery out and then after that I took out my battery and put back in place he would have himself cut and wouldn't load, it would load at halfway then stop and try again. I use to have to take out the battery for a few days before its in so that he can turn it on but one day it does at all so I thought it was the battery but I just bought a new battery and its charging again to half way and stop and then try to load again, but it won't turn. Does anyone know what the problem with it... I have to wait a few days before you put the new battery in once again and then it will work or is the phone itself and I just need to get a new one?  Help, please.

  Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the whole 4h15m process, your BB should stay connected to a good charger (not the USB PC):

  1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
  2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
  3. Remove the battery
  4. Wait 15 minutes
  5. Insert the battery
  6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

  This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

  It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

  1. Get a known good and already fully charge battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
  2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

  The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem. I realize that you have purchased a new battery, but please understand that 'new' and 'well known' are not necessarily the same thing... While it's rare, that a new battery cannot be subject to default. The best thing to do is to find someone with an identical BB which has no problem... to Exchange batteries and see what happens.

  In addition, the next thing is to try to start safe mode:

  It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, thinking... what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

Or is separate #2 and lies somewhere in the process by using your AppWorld?   So I guess. My guess is that, once you upgrade to 7.1, you don't have to perform a few extra steps to ensure that all services were properly enabled on your BB. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! You can try these few points in your process... either now (on 7.0.0.513) or after you re - try to upgrade to 7.1.0.366.

  You receive a red X when trying to send messages BBM all BB 10 users?
