BlackBerry 9630 smartphones - deployment Enterprise Messenger

I'm trying to deploy Enterprise Messenger on my 9630 and it does not work.  I know that the Tour requires a different version of the email client of the company that I downloaded and the installer using Apploader.  It shows very well in the section software Configurations of the Console of Mgmt of BES, but he never pushes to the device.  I don't know what I'm missing.  I had to do the same thing with Enterprise Messenger when the storm came out as it requires also a separate version, but that seemed to work.  I can not even this version appears on the device.

Has anyone else installed and successfully deployed the messaging client of the company to a round device wireless (not via the office of Bishop).

I had an incident open with the support of the RIM, and they were able to confirm that this is a bug with their ALX files.  They were able to give me a workaround solution to make it work.  Here's what I did to get it operational...

1. go to the directory that hosts the files .alx for this application.

2 remove all files from files .alx 470 with the filename.

3. run the loader.exe /index still 4. Remove all users from the configuration of existing software.

5 remove the configuration of existing software.

6. create again the software configuration and assign it to your users.

7. you should now be able to do this wireless to your users.

It worked for me.  Enterprise Messenger is now successfully deploy to my Tour devices.

    Before you begin, you might want to review the link in my sig auto on this post related... just backups to protect, you probably need to know about this (assuming of course that you have done anything with this BB, which is worth to protect).

    Then, start here:

    Once you know what type of package of the OS you need, then get and install this on your BB and understand the language of your choice you make.

    At the top of each forum device, there should be some 'sticky' threads dealing with the level of the OS available for many models. If they understand your model, please use those as a reference as you go along. Otherwise, you will have to dig through the download portal official for packages of OS for your model:

    From a PC, you can install any compatible OS package (for example, for your BB model exact number) of a BB via this procedure:

    Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC. If this OS package comes from one carrier other carrier for which your BB was built, then remove, on your PC, all copies of the SELLER. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader

    If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

    I just downloaded outlook to synchronize with my turn, as said by Verizon and contacts will be synchronized but not calendar.  Any ideas on what to do?

    I have developed a problem with my 9630 (carrier: Sprint) recently.  I get emails on this subject for a while, but once I open my Internet browser, all mails I've received since the last time that I opened it will come through at a time.  If I check my messages, they are all listed as coming through at the same time, but inside the email, they are dated at the time they were sent.

    Any ideas as to what it could be?  I have not changed the settings recently, the problem appears independent of anything else, from what I can tell.  Looks like a problem with my phone not seeking new emails until he uses data services (internet browser).  Thank you.

    Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  • BlackBerry 9630 Smartphones send but not receive e-mails

    The last incoming e-mail I got was around 18:00 on Friday.  From 11:00 Saturday, I can send messages, but none are received.  Have not fiddled with OS, applications, or anything else.  Have you tried a battery pull several times with no results.  Any ideas?

    Unreal.  I post this cry for help, and at 11:30 I suddenly more than 50 mails in my Inbox.  Coincidence?

    You can use the curve not BlackBerry Enterprise server. But you can use BlackBerry Internet Service and integrate professional email address via POP/IMAP/OWA and still continue to use BB. Your IT will know if they have access POP/IMAP/OWA.

    From my understanding, the BlackBerry 9630 won't get OS 6 due to memory constraints.  The operating system on other devices is greater than 200 MB in size, is just too big to fit on the 9630.

    In terms of getting the new browser on the BlackBerry 9630 and other devices which are not updated for OS 6, I asked the RIM VPs who were in charge of it while I was at the Enterprise Symposium for the wireless BlackBerry (WES) in the spring and was informed that the browser is fully integrated in OS 6 (also called BlackBerry 6) and would not be applied in the older devices.

    This does not mean, however, that won't happen ever, but from my understanding and what I said very clearly at WES, I wouldn't hold my breath.

    (Note: I do not work for RIM, so my comments are mine.)  These comments are simply based on what I have read and learned in the past year).
