  I had updated the software again to 5.0 before having seen your answer, because when I got the phone I still had the same problem and the phone looked old, if you know what I mean, so I contacted my service provider and they sent me a message on my phone that says service plan upgrade the service agent customer told me that he sent me all the service books and now the browser and the internet still works :-)...   When I try to open Roxio, Desk Top Manager V 4.5, it gives a message that my screen resolution should be set to 1024 x 768, but my Acer aspire One is only capable of 1024 x 600.   I have a Bold 9900, I've had just for a few weeks. Last night, out of nowhere, I noticed that a new BBM message was not sent. After trying to figure out what it was, I also noticed that nothing related to data Mobile was working at all. No email, instant messaging, the functions of the browser. I turned my data on and outside, connected and disconnected from Wi - Fi and used the host to register with the network Routing Table. None of this has worked.

  I then used the diagnostic test to find out what the network functions did not exist, and that's what I got:

  Hello and welcome to the community!

  With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  1) register HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

  2) books of forwarding Service

  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

  3) restart

  • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
  • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I'm moving 9780 BBM 7 for WIFI use as I am able to do on a BB10.

  However, it allows me to download via WIFI (at least, he says he does) but does not install because and I quote "coverage insufficient wirelss or your connection to the wireless network is turned off.

  Unfortunately, BBM and email only works with a data plan BlackBerry BlackBerry 7 and older devices. This restriction no longer exists for BlackBerry 10 devices, but there is still no way around that for older BlackBerry smartphones.

  In this case, try the upgrade.

  First of all, do you have an asset witn your access provider BlackBerry data Plan?

  If this isn't the case, you want to disable your Wifi connection and unplug the PC's Ethernet cables.

  Not that I am aware, if you look at Whatsapp on BlackBerry World, 8120 is not listed as one of the supported devices.

  When I go to home > Setup > email accounts

• BlackBerry Curve 8330 - OTA update, smartphones now says roll back java and turns on

  So, I am sure that my phone is fried - through the wireless software update my phone told me to download Blackberry yesterday.

  Small update icon appears on the screen telling me that there is an upgrade of the QSR software so I say to download on-line.  About half an hour later, my phone Flash and comes with a quick screen that says "roll back java" with a status bar that remains at 99% and then power cycles and did the same thing.  I had to take the battery out - is the power cycling every minute at least.  It won't do anything else, and it does not recognize my blackberry desktop software.  I left the battery during the night so the cycling power does not drain the battery and when I put the battery back inside, just going to go back to his small msg Java and bike power.

  Any ideas?  I'll take it to Telus later today.  I guess that he should be sent to the outside and re-flashed and I will lose everything on it.

  1. NEVER make the upgrages wireless without first making your own manual backup using the Desktop Manager. RIM needs to get this right, and I hope that they are listening.

  2 try this on your device:

  If your BlackBerry is still under tension turned off with a black screen, follow the instructions below. The only indication of life may be the flashing red indicator light in the upper corner. Nothing seems to wake and Desktop Manager does not recognize that a device is connected.
