  • Warranty Z10 blackBerry in India for my BlackBerry Z10 bought in India

    Hello

Its been a week that I got my new BlackBerry Z10 here in the United States. I am enjoying my time with it and looking forward to the 10.1 update.

I bought from a salesman who gave an unlocked version of the phone but T-Mobile wrote on the battery cover.

I'd be invited in a few months and want to know how can I check the warranty of the device in India coverage.

Thanks a lot for all the response.

    Kind regards

    Fabienne Reynaud.

Probably none, if you have purchased from a retailer of athorized devices. And I know not at all to the United States that sell unlocked full guarantee instruments.

You should ask your vendor what kind of warranty you have.

  • BlackBerry smartphone connection to a car phone "UCONNECT".

I can't get my blackberry 9650 for storm to connect to my new Jeep "UCONNECT" link.  I'm just following the instructions and tried the options of research and listening on my Blackberry. With the listening option nothing is found. With the search option is the 'SYSTEM' but when I enter the password I provided when setting up nothing happens and the so-called 'failed twinning' what am I am I doing wrong and how I can pair my Blackberry with "UCONNECCT" system of the car? After I enter the 4 digit code, what I need to do something else like pust the button of phone or a shipment, etc. or just wait until the code is recognized (it's what I do now - just press the 4 digit code and wait).

I found the solution.  After I entered the 4-digit code, I need to press the 'return' key, which is just below the button 'back '...  It allows to enter the code I typed in the phone.

  • The card SIM Z3 Airtel for blackBerry in INDIA could not insert into BLACKBERRY Z3

    Hello

I am Syed Ameer, staying in Bangalore, India, recently I bought BB Z3 phone, now, I'm trying to insert SIM airtel sim BB Z3 slot, but the problem is that the crack of CRACK sim in the phone is very low and of SIM in a little bigger. There is therefore a compatible sim slot problem and sim card.

Is that one in India were faced with the same problem.

Airtel has given you the wrong SIM card. I'm sure most BB10 phones use a MicroSIM card and apparently Airtel gave you a normal SIM card.

    See you soon.

  • Smartphones blackBerry Bluetooth connection Bluetooth in car rings constantly... with nobody calling!

I have a Mitsubishi Lancer and for 9 months, I rest my Bold 9900 in the Cup holder and connect via bluetooth for hands free car bluebooth system. However, something changed 3 weeks ago and now as soon as I connect via bluetooth (my checking the bluetooth icon in connections), it will automatically call my car in headsfree system. When you answer, he's nobody. If you cancel the call, he composed a fair return. So annoying that I can't use the car in system now. I tried with other phones iphone for example, and they do not have the same problem. Do not know what has changed, but I need help! I deleted all the pairings and re done the connections but still no luck. Is there an auto dial function which is the cause? Help, please!

Try to remove the bluetooth of your car from your phone profile and then to connect with the phone.

Also have a device rebooting by removing the battery from your smartphone while your phone is on.

  • BlackBerry Z10 Micro SDXC taken care of?

    Good day to all!

The Z10 specifications indicate support for Cards microSD, up to 64 GB. I need to buy one because I get my Z10 next week.

Question: can I install a Micro SDXC card like http://www.amazon.ca/SanDisk-MicroSDXC-Memory-Adapter-SDSDQUA-064G-U46A/dp/B007WTAJTO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=...

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi rpwings,

I bought this card adapters for my device and it works. A catch but... when I first inserted into my camera, it would not be recognized. If you have this problem, just reformat the card support in the device by going to setting > storage and access, scroll down and select format the media card.  It should then work.

Good luck and enjoy your new unit when you get it!

  • BlackBerry smartphones want to use normal 3G plan with blackberry

    Hello
I have BlackBerry Curve 9330 phone. I want to use this phone for GPS (to aid
(Google maps). Can use normal airtel 3G for GPS data plan. I don't want to take
plan data on Blackberry, since I use only the GPS on my phone, with the exception of the normal telephone services.

Hello and welcome to the community!

You will need to talk to your mobile service provider. Some do not allow the BBs on their network without a complete BB data plan. Can additional you can have a generic data plan.

In addition, you must check your GPS application... If it works with a generic data plan, so it should work fine if your carrier allows you (according to the above). If the application requires a complete BB data plan, then it would be necessary. It depends of your GPS application... the GPS itself in the device simply receives signals from the GPS satellites... it is the GPS application to process this information and combine it with card data obtained through your data connection.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones does pine bb without data plan? No polls bbm, just the msg of the real axis

I heard that pine bb uses the server of berry to send msg's is faster and more secure. but I had also heard that u don't need to have a data plan, u could still send/recieve pin msg but I tried turned off my data services, but it did not work. so I was just wondering how actually the PIN works.

I know that bbm does not work via wifi, u gotta hv data plan.

and if pin msg need data plan work, then what's the point of hving bbm? It just doesn't do the same thing?

    Thank you very much!!!

PIN to pin is on wheels network, so you need a blackberry data plan more coverage network

  • BlackBerry smartphones IS INSTALLING IN BB PROTECT PASSWORD RESET RESET THE DEVICE PASSWORD

    1st post ever.

BB TORCH 9800 IS RUNNING ON T-MOBILE UK NETWORK PIN PROTECTED

I started with the BB BOLD in 2009 and moved to BB TORCH 2011 when I had an option of upgrading, so I'm pretty familiar with BB.

My device is protected by BB and there's the option of password reset on the leg for the identification of BB. What I'm not clear all is if this resets the password to access BB Protect or it can reset the password for the device. I'm on my attempt at entry 9 password, and here's how I got here.

Summer using the phone as normal through today. I have the protect of spindle of 10 minutes, i.e. whenever the phone is idle, he hangs himself. PIN protection also need to install the software etc, so I must have unlocked the phone at least 12 times or more today.

As usual, I've unlocked the phone 2 hours ago to send and receive BBM PINES of a couple of friends who have stopped. The only thing that struck me is that one of them used a BB Pearl and the BBM PIN is all non-alphanumeric numbers. After they were gone, thought I'd check on my emails and tried to unlock the phone as usual, and he kept on the return "Incorrect password." I couldn't believe it that's a pin Digital and thought it was a mistake and continued.

By my 7th attempt, put the sim in a spare handset and called my operator T-Mobile, they said there was nothing they could do, I had to enter in contact with the RIM. Put the sim card in my BB Torch and gave him another chance (at that time it asks you to type in "blackberry" and your password in clear text)

Fortunately, I had BB protect enabled, I signed the and saved my camera.

Under the my device tab, you can change the password for the device. T o do you need to enter the existing password (known), enter a new password and then click on the locking device. Done everything that he went and came back to say this device has failed.

Tried to unlock the unit 9th attempt.

    What are my options?

The BlackBerryID reset password affects ONLY the password of the BlackBerryID... NO password security of the device itself. Two completely different things.

It's weird, but not impossible. I've seen a lot of BlackBerry wants a digital-only PIN. Not much.

It has nothing to do with you the problem.

I guess it's that you have entered your only security digital password wrong... only not by pressing the ALT key to make the number.

Often users with more than one digit in their password will only press the ALT key to the first digit and not those who follow, so for example, if your password "1234", you could put pressure on 'Alt 1234 "on the device, making the real password to be"1st".

Who is? It sounds familiar to your use?

In order to verify the manner in which you enter your password on the device... do you think that you enter several numbers, but in fact are not?

  • Wish of blackBerry Smartphones that I could password protect BB while in the Holster ONLY

I would love to see RIM put up-to-date, or perhaps a third-party seller 'improve' the security options available on our BB. Here's what I'd like to see:

The ability to enable protection by password, with a timeout of "never" (currently 1 hour is the maximum), but allow "Pocket Holster lock.

Here's my reasoning: around the House, when my BB is not in my hand, so I leave degaine on a table, counter or in a base charger. I am not concerned about security in my house. If I "lose" it, I'm not worried. When I leave the House, I got the case. That's when I want password protected. If I lose, I'll be in a world of pain.

Can you help me and others I am sure RIM? Software developers?

Thank you for reading this and offer you! (BTW... I am aware of the apps like smartguard and others, but really wish someone could resolve what RIM has provided with their operating system)
