• BlackBerry Z30 incoming calls NOT Ringing - Z30

  I recently did a quick reset on my Blackberry Z30 (outfits the two buttons for volume 10 seconds), this fixed my initial problem to experience the shift answering calls.

  When I get calls, now, however there is no ringing sound... I can see the incoming call and I answer the call, but there is no ringing sound.

  I tried to ensure that the volume buttons have turned up full, I even checked my notification settings and made sure that they are on normal. I checked also double the settings on the normal setting, ensure that the volume meter is full.

  Yet even after that, then by restarting the phone several times, still me the same problem.

  Does anyone have the magical answer, I would really advice, because miss me calls because there is no ringing sound.

  I tried to change the notification setting of 'silent' to 'normal' to see if it helps... but it did not help.

  I have not changed anything in the settings or downloading apps, I even tried to reset some default functionality and he still refuses to make the Bell Rings when someone calls me.

  The current software provides its update: OS Blackberry 10 - version of the 10.3.2.28.36 software

  If you have an idea of what the issue could be just I want to know, I would rather not completely reset my phone like this would be the last resort.

  UPDATED - HIS RING NOW ONCE AGAIN!

  I plugged into my macbook and tried to load in the Blackberry Link software, that the software did not recognize my phone (another new question lol), it's just returned to normal, and now I can hear it ring, thank God!

  I followed KB33812 & tried KB34323 (already active account)

  Currently under Calendar/manage, they're here & selected but not existing entries in ical show in the calendar app

  Have you tried a restore BB & a remove account e-mail/cal & Reistall it .but nothing

  Enter a new event cal on Mac & it syncs to Z30

  Enter a new entry on Z30 & receives ical

  Is there a way to get existing entries on the Z30

  

  Interesting. I have installed Google calendar using www.google.com as the server and it syncs perfectly. I put the synchronization interval to 30 minutes. When you enter a new event that I have to select the Google calendar in the menu dropdown. Google sync add on for PC also lets you synchronize 2-way. Phone, ical on Google and all PCs remain in sync.

  I also have AOL setup calendar and it syncs great with the z30 in both directions using caldav.aol.com as the server.

  I'm sick to see my e-mail address appears each time I want to log in to my PC. I'm on a Surface very basically my Microsoft account is not @live.com is my school address (@syr.edu). Thus, it seems extremely sticky when it shows just my e-mail address of school on everything, including SkyDrive. is it possible for me to keep the e-mail address but change the name that is displayed? I hope this makes sense. As, when I first turn on the Surface, it takes me to the login screen and where you enter your password it says my e-mail address. Does anyone know of a way to change it so that it says my name and my e-mail address no? Thank you!

  Very strange, my parents use another area for their Microsoft Account (ironically, their Windows Live ID (now MS Account) is a gmail address).  But it still shows their name on the signin areas and other.

  Maybe try this.  Go to http://account.live.com and sign in using your address @syr.edu.  Then click "Edit name" and see if that comes into force.

  You have set up your email accounts? What your BB ID?

  I got a z 30 for awhile. before that a z10. Since I've had these phones - whenever I sync my desktop to my phone via link bb I get the contact duplicate info. It is very maddeding. our it guy in the Office helped me with this everal time nothing works, I tried only to the top of datihng on the desktop. update only on my phone.i hate to connect my phone because I know that I'll get duplicates OR when I opened a contact I hqave 5 list of their email phone n.   There is no way to sync contacts between your phone and your desktop computer without using Outlook. Link is simply the 'link' between the phone and Outlook. You have nothing to 'link' your contacts without Outlook.

  Simply link to make backups of device or sync photos and media on your computer.

• BlackBerry Smartphones can access not again e-mail server POP of CompuServe.

  This week, CompuServe moved their customers to a new mail server, "pop.csi.com" on the standard port 110.  We managed to update all our other e-mail clients to use this server without any problems.

  However, any attempt to add a new email account using the interface web, is blocked by Blackberry web site tell us there is a problem and an error to connect to this server.  The deal climbed to CompuServe informs us that all other clients do not experience this problem, the problem is due to a problem with the Blackberry.  Of course, that the error of Blackbery said call "CompuServe".

  So any ideas on what's going wrong here.  Is there a DNS entry that Blackberry is using the old CompuServe or they have not updated their routing tables or what?

  How can we get in contact with a technical support person who can track?

  Please help, we have a number of these blackberries that have become unnecessary at the moment.

  Ah Ah... the trick is to put in a 'false' email account to begin, IE. [email protected] and then to let it fail and ask you the real parameters, rather than letting "detect" the Compuserve account settings.

  My blackberry 9360 curve has begun to show insufficiently emails last week.  When I opened them, it shows only the first 8-10 lines of the email and the rest of the email is just the gray/white checkerboard.  The problem occurs regardless of whether if I get emails when connected wireless or 3 g.

  Please try this > on your Homscreen to open your browser > press the Menu key > Options > scroll down to clear browsing data (mark all fields) and then click clean now.

  Once it's done perform a reboot of traction battery like that, even if your device is power on remove the battery, wait for a min. then reinsert back. After restarting, please check if you are able to check your email.

  With a Q10 how to copy an email address (without contact) recipients e-mail received in the body of another email? With my Torch 9800 I could click on the name of the person who sent me the email and select "Show email address" and then click on copy. I can't understand how to do this with a Q10.

  With the Q10 when I open an email that I can see the senders email address when I type the blue header to pass,

  I need to copy this address into another email as simply transfer it to another person does not display email address.

  Try this Brian... Once you open the e-mail, type the name of the sender, it will then show the email account and to which it is sent in an expanded view. Now tap and hold on the sender name again, the right vertical bar should now appear, select copy name. Head to the new body of the e-mail, press and hold in the body of the email right vertical bar appears, select Paste. Note that it will also stick the name next to the email address, so you can delete if you do not need.

  This is how I do it, found nothing as fast as this so far. Hope that helps.

• I want to WRITE to open the list, personal address book, not all e-mail address books. How can I fix this?

  I want the book "Home address" to come when I go to "write". It has been like that. Now I get "All addresses" and need to change to 'personal book. I tried selecting 'Personal', then send me an email. Does not work. Next time I click on write, place the 'Addresses' book returns.

  The new "address book all the ' that you correctly identify occupies the site higher in the list.
  Currently there is no way to set a default value, because there has never been anyone want one so far.
  The developers are working on creating such a preference and it comes out when it's ready.

  Process: we want the receptionist at our main office in forms eprint for staff to use in our satellite offices when receiving loan it is free service.  It is possible that prints only the attachment but not e-mail?

  ePrint is designed to print the body of the email and attachments supported as well. However, if you do not fill in the body of the email, then the only printable material will be the attachment.

  This is a spam of countermeasure. Open relay means that the SMTP server accepts the mail any domain name.
