  Had to withdraw from my old Blackberry Bold 9650 for now and I try to add my additional email accounts. I had no trouble to add my hotmail and yahoo but it keeps giving me an error when you try to add my gmail accounts. The error indicates "address incorrect email or password. Check your email address and password. If the error persists, contact gmail.com"I tried this, without exaggeration, about 50 times. I have same triple checked that I put in the correct email and password using my laptop and it does not work on my phone. Help, please!

  It is reasonable to assume that my Blackberry Bold 9650 is not compatible with the new os7.1?

  I recently did an upgrade for my os and he said that I was running the most up-to-date available 6.0

  Hey, it's safe to assume... and a fact.

  The 9650 will not get the 7.1 upgrade nor upgrade 7.0.

  My BlackBerry Bold 9650 suddenly stopped showing emails in Messages.  Everything is displayed it is SMS.  How to show new emails?  It happened last Thursday.  Yesterday he stopped even receive emails at all.  He receives text messages, but that's all.  Help, please!

  First try a battery pull.  Let us know the results and we can try some other measures.

• Synchronize the Smartphone blackBerry Bold 9650 with Outlook 2010

  Update Outlook 2010 and my Bold 9650 will not sync contacts and calendar.  I get emails and have entered all the information in setting up the feature on the "BOLD"?  It's crazy!  Help!

  Sorry for not responding earlier; been out of town on business.

  After much trying this and that, I discovered the issue referenced on the site 2010 download, or point and click.  Of course, although it is acceptable to Microsoft it is not supported by Blackberry once you get the real disk, you will need to uninstall the point and click on reinstall via the disc.  This allows also to Office 2010 to run faster given it is on your hard drive and not a virtual place.

• Smartphone blackBerry Bold 9650 worm 6 unable to find requested server

  Since my Bold 9650 to version 6 update I get the error "cannot find requested server" trying to open websites when you are connected to my home WIFI network. I AM able to connect to the Web sites via the VZW network, when I disconnected my WIFI at home.

  I am able to send and receive e-mail on my WIFI connection.

  When I checked the WIFI diagnostics, it shows that I am connected to the network, but as part of the BlackBerry Infrastructure, it shows that I'm not connected, but I don't know if this is normal or not. I must also be connected to the BlackBerry Infrastructure? If so, how to make this connection.

  Also, since the upgrade to version 6, I noticed that under Options, it is no longer an Advanced Options that can be selected to change my browser, so I am currently using the default browser which I assume is the BlackBerry browser.

  Got mine fixed. I unplugged my BB my house Wi-Fi then remove the info from my BB router connection and put it back upward to run on my Wi - Fi. After that, I was able to connect to websites using my WiFi home again.

  Don't know what happened, but think that when I upgraded my 9650 to ver 6, something went haywire with the settings on my router. Removal of the configuration of the router and performing the installation again put everything right.

  I used 2 GB of Kingston in the past. Now I use a sweet craftsmen of 8 GB. Never had any problems with either. Drop it in and you should be good to go.

• BlackBerry Bold 9650 Smartphone No audio

  All the audio files on my Bold 9650 has suddenly stopped working - not ringtones, alerts, speaker, music or voice recordings can be heard. The phone is not muted and the volume up. Material and soft reset reset have not set. Software has been upgraded to 5.0.0.1006 after the problem started and it has not resolved. Device that self-test performed and verified that no audio function is involved.

  In addition, there is an icon that I don't remember seeing before the display below my DASH indicator. It is a white circle with a cross through it, as the symbol of the view when you focus a gun or a camera. I can't find the icon on any list of icon to indicate what it means.

  Any comments or ideas would be appeciated.

  Problem solved, apparently spontaneously. hours of 10l after that all the patches have been tempted and phone left, audio functions returned.

• BlackBerry Bold 9650 smartphone volume questions in the case

  I used my Bold 9650 in the Holster while I work in the gym and I was listening to Pandora. I noticed that the volume controls on the right side of the device will not work while the unit is in the Holster. If I get out of the Holster, the volume buttons work fine. Is it possible to allow these buttons while the case is used? I would have thought that they would work automatically by default. Thank you.

  I'm no expert on the cases, but I know that the magnet in the case puts your phone "sleep", turn off the screen.  This could also affect the side buttons.

  To make sure that this isn't just a problem with your phone, remove your battery when your phone is turned on, then replace it.  If the symptoms persist, it could be something with that you'll just have to live.

  I got my Bold 9650 just three days ago. Upgrading to OS 6. It works very well on my phone, but the only problem I've noticed is, after the upgrade, I lost all my games and the Docs Apps Go.

  Can someone offer you please how to restore these applications?

  Found the solution...

  -Swithch off the phone after the upgrade

  -Remove the battery and restart

  -Connect the device to your PC using the BB desktop software

  -Click "Applications".

  -There you go... you can see all the apps listed

  -Select the application you want to install and click 'apply '.

  With the other BB's, I was able to assign a different ringtone for each of my contacts. I can't understand how to do this with the 9650 just receive work.

  I would really like to know how to get a 9650 "bold" out of lock hard, for use on a GSM network again. It is locked to Verizon, but the thing is; When trying to unlock the phone, an incorrect code has been entered upwards to the maximum of 10 times. So far, only one team advises that it can be unlocked, but they send the files of the RIM. Another team said that they can unlock, tried... and failed miserably. Help, please. I do not want to have a valuable brick... & personally, we can afford plans from Verizon. Thank you, in advance, for any help.

  As a site sponsored by RIM, officially available methods can be discussed here... and there is no official method do you need, except at the RIM factory. And, even if they would be willing to do, I've always suspected that the cost would exceed just to buy a new.
