The SIM card and the media are hot-swappable.

  • BlackBerry smartphones remove the Sim Card from storm

How do you 'delete' the SIM of the storm? I know that the battery has been removed. I tried to delete it, but seems to be stuck? I looked into the Blackberry site, but it does specify that on installation there. The SIM is uder a metal clip, I can "move". No problem with the phone or the sim card, but maybe later, that perhaps I need to remove it. Thank you.

Maybe I have use a small screwdriver and try to lift the clamp metal, to see if that helps, too. Thank you.

  • Ringtone to blackBerry Smartphones access to saved on the SIM card

I recently acquired a Blackberry Curve and kept my old number/SIM. Before inserting the SIM card, I saved a few rings on it and now can't access set as a rington.

Can someone help me out here?

    See you soon

Having had other 'games' I found how do:

Went to the advanced option menu button then the ringtone setting (normal, phone off, vibrate etc) button and show tunes. This takes me to the SD card, which I guess is my SIM card (or what was my SIM card in the old phone) and I can then select the melody to set like the ringing of the phone.

    Thanks for advice.

  • BlackBerry Q5 cannot remove my sim card

Hello, I have been using my BlackBerry Q5 for a long time, and everything has been working fine, no problem. But now, when I want to remove it, I can't, or I do not know how. I have the Micro-Sim Card and I already asked a few people, but nobody knows. I thank very you much for any help.

Open the hood > slightly press the SIM card already inserted

You will hear a slight click and it should appear for removal.

Do not pull the SIM card with first pressing it to dislodge.

Look at this for more information.

  • Function of blackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Protect after change of SIM card

I just got a new PAYG SIM card for my Betterware and put in my BB Torch.

I got a message from BB Protect had been changed the SIM card, which got me thinking what will happen if the phone was stolen and SIM changed.

I tried the strong ring, the locator and facilities of message on the site Protect - that blocked in "waiting for device to respond.

Does this mean that if the phone is stolen and the SIM changed then BB Protect into force ceases to be useful?

Let's be honest, if the phone was stolen then a new SIM card is likely...

Yes, by changing the SIM card you have unplugged the unit from your BIS account disconnect and it access to you.

Somethings can't be avoided, just as you can't stop the thief of trampling on the device and crushing. No software will 'disable', which.

  • Synchronize the Smartphone blackBerry Bold 9650 with Outlook 2010

Update Outlook 2010 and my Bold 9650 will not sync contacts and calendar.  I get emails and have entered all the information in setting up the feature on the "BOLD"?  It's crazy!  Help!

Sorry for not responding earlier; been out of town on business.

After much trying this and that, I discovered the issue referenced on the site 2010 download, or point and click.  Of course, although it is acceptable to Microsoft it is not supported by Blackberry once you get the real disk, you will need to uninstall the point and click on reinstall via the disc.  This allows also to Office 2010 to run faster given it is on your hard drive and not a virtual place.

  • Smartphone blackBerry Bold 9650 worm 6 unable to find requested server

Since my Bold 9650 to version 6 update I get the error "cannot find requested server" trying to open websites when you are connected to my home WIFI network. I AM able to connect to the Web sites via the VZW network, when I disconnected my WIFI at home.

I am able to send and receive e-mail on my WIFI connection.

When I checked the WIFI diagnostics, it shows that I am connected to the network, but as part of the BlackBerry Infrastructure, it shows that I'm not connected, but I don't know if this is normal or not. I must also be connected to the BlackBerry Infrastructure? If so, how to make this connection.

Also, since the upgrade to version 6, I noticed that under Options, it is no longer an Advanced Options that can be selected to change my browser, so I am currently using the default browser which I assume is the BlackBerry browser.

Got mine fixed. I unplugged my BB my house Wi-Fi then remove the info from my BB router connection and put it back upward to run on my Wi - Fi. After that, I was able to connect to websites using my WiFi home again.

Don't know what happened, but think that when I upgraded my 9650 to ver 6, something went haywire with the settings on my router. Removal of the configuration of the router and performing the installation again put everything right.

In Options | By the way, I see that my BB Bold 9650 smartphone has:

    (3G, CDMA, WiFi)

    What does that mean?

I thought that the "BOLD" was a 3G phone.

This particular model can use both systems?

    Hello

According to the page of the form:

It is a multi-band BB, capable of running on all the listed networks.

  • Insert/remove the sim card

    Hello guys,.

I was wondering if it's ok to insert or remove the micro sim card when the phone is turned on, or when it is off but load?

It will damage the phone or is it OK to do?

    Thank you

    Hello

If the phone is off you can insert and remove the micro sim card card whenever you want.

There should be no promlem it when the phone is turned on either. I made it myself with different phones and watched others making and have found no problems so far. Although I noticed that in this case, it was more difficult for the phone sometimes to connect to the carrier and I had to do it manually.

Anyway, you better refer to the manual of your phone and check if she says nothing about it.
