  Hello

  I'm developing an application using the SDK Webworks for BB10 (no playbook).

  I am creating an application menu using the blackberry.ui.menu but webinspector reports it as undefined.

  I'm working on Windows with WebWorks SDK version 1.0.4.11 platform

  I tried console.log (blackberry.ui) and I got:

  Object {toast: object}

  (As I understood my config file blackberry.ui.toast. XML) toast and dialogue are works fine for me, but no menu.

  I found that I have no 'menu' file Webworks SDK path\Framework\ext\

  I have only ui.toast, ui.cover, ui.dialog and ui.contextmenu files. Is this a problem?

  I do posts from ajax to the getpocket domain specified, but all the work is done by local files. I also tried to add access uri * and disabling websecurity, but it doesn't seem to work.

  I'd be happy if someone could guide me where I could go wrong.

  I create a menu item:

  But openBISPushListener() is called during this menu item instantiation. When I comment the lines menu item, the code is not called.

  Any ideas?

  The problem is that you are setting and at the same time execution of the callback function to your menuItem.

  Please see so endearing to the callback method works for you:

  var regPush = new blackberry.ui.menu.MenuItem(false, 1, "Push Registration", openBISPushListener);
  

  Note that I just removed the () on your openBISPushListener.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Menu Freeze button

  While watching the e-mail Inbox, I was unable to use the menu button or the scroll button.  It would then work in the Messages application, but not in the messaging application.  The only way I could make it work was to restart the system by removing the battery.  No idea why this is happening or how to prevent it?  Thank you!

  I hope that the post of Kijanasmart helped by your problem.  And, Yes, there are reasons, why these problems occur.

  Think of your BB as you would your PC.  If the memory becomes low, your device is subject to abnormal behavior such as you encounter.  There are several things you can do to help prevent this however.

  1. When applications closed, always us the menu-close option.  Don't just use the arrow key to the left.  If apps continue to run in the background consumes memory.
  2. Check your free # (go to options registered) try not to let your file get free below 15 MB.  If this is the case, close some applications if they are open and clear the cache of your browser (open content operations-clear cached browser-menu-options-cache & cookies if there are very many.
  3. Whenever you download and install (or remove) a new/old request, it's a good idea to restart your BB.
  4. If your BB seems slow, do a battery pull.  It will seek to recover some memory as well.

  There is also the free app called Quickpull whose spoken Kijanasmart.  QuickPull will simulate a battery pull without having to actually pull the battery. Check it out here: Quickpull

  I have mine set to reboot every morning at 4:30, so my BB is refreshed and ready to go every day. Sometimes, however, a real battery pull appears to work even better when you have installed 3rd party applications or when your BB feels just slow of prolonged use (like display in these forums bravohelen:.)
  When you have abnormal behavior in your BB a battery pull is often useful to clear it up too.

However, I managed to bring up the menu 'closed' (which still shows four icons) disappear when it closes at just a small bar at the bottom of the screen with a white to the top of the arrow to open the menu new.   Just touch the white arrow and drag it to the desired location.  You can view the lines as much or as little as you want.

• Expand All/close Menu accordion any hyperlink

  I'm using the menu accordion to show a process, step by step, in a manual training. When a user clicks on the next menu item, the menu item closes. I want users to be able to EXPAND ALL and CLOSE all accordions, perhaps by clicking a [+] and [-] next to the menu. How can I do this? Thank you

• cannot move tabs from the bookmarks menu, if I close menu bm and reopen, I can drag tabs to it temporarily, but it will fail again soon.

  Title pretty much everything said. I can't drag to the menu bookmark tabs without closing and re-opening then menu bm. Then it will last for a while that I can drag the tabs to the menu but at some point I can no longer drag the tabs. When I drag a tab, I get a little picture of the tab url page but no line that shows where the tab can be moved.

  A corollary of this problem, I think, is that bookmarks bar won't remember from one day to the next the changes I made. He remembered the changes through a reboot and so far, for the rest of the day. But the next morning, the bookmarks are back to what they were, just confused upward.

  I've deleted and reinstalled FF, I refreshed it, I took ALL the Add-ons to the wide (including one I use all the time roboform) and the problem persisted for several days. I don't remember when exactly it started, but a week ago, everything was fine, I was not using problem and one day I could no longer be synchronized with xmarks xmarks and roboform and my favorites were all messed up.

  You can check for problems with the database places.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder.

• BlackBerry Z10 menu drop-down ("Notifications", "Alarm") disappears!

  My z10 works beautifully.

  Except in the last days whenever I do the drop-down list active (the one accessible by sliding from senior management downwards) and try to click "Alarm" or "Notifications", the menu drop down menu scans back and disappears!

  In other words, it seems that * just * these two buttons (alarm and Notifications) are disabled, so the effect is the same, as if I was to click on the black background of the drop in the menu drop-down or anywhere else but an active button. By pressing the buttons or notifications in all sorts of ways has the same effect: the banner just think you want to exit the menu and disappears.

  Any ideas why this happens? Am I the only one?

  I had to return the phone and get a new one.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Menu button not working/no applications on desktop

  OK, I feel really stupid.  I've been messing around with my new BB, and I did something to make sure I can't get the menu I had before come back.  At this point, I don't know even how I managed to do it, but now when I turn on my phone, there is no icons on this subject either.  I realized that if I hit the Alt + ESC keys, I can bring up a bar with a few icons.  But not all of them.   If I hit the Menu button, nothing happens.  Anyone know how I can get it back to work?

  At this point, I'm so confused, I don't know what to do! Normally, I'm pretty good with electronics, but I can't in the menu options, so I am quite confused.

  Any help would be appreciated!

  No, they're all here. Just the icons. I ended up taking it to a Verizon Wireless store and they gave me a new. They said they had never seen anything like this before.

  One that you can scroll to find addons such as USAtoday, etc.. I don't know how to get it back.

  The browser icon is missing?

  If so try to re-registration of the device by going to Options | Advanced options | The host routing table. Select the "BOLD" entry, press the menu button and select Save now. That should send a message of registration of your provider to the device. Then try to remove the battery for 30 seconds.

The problem is a drop in the menu system that does not work on my BB 9520, it would be a software problem on my BB. I have updated with the latest update via Desktop Manager.   Hi and welcome to the Forums!

  Web sites can be coded to perform better with some browsers, rather than others. The BB browser may appear to websites like several different things... What is inside the browser application (BBKey > Options > browser Configuration > browser Identification). Change that to a different browser could help your BB interact better with some Web sites. In combination with all other configuration settings, you have to find the combination of all these parameters which works best for the sites you visit. Unfortunately, there is no "best advice" that each persons needs are different. But, in general, I find that change browser Identification often helps - most often by changing to FF or IE (if those who are at your disposal... the options vary depending on the carrier).
