BlackBerry smartphones, I've lost the Blackberry browser menu
One that you can scroll to find addons such as USAtoday, etc.. I don't know how to get it back.
The browser icon is missing?
If so try to re-registration of the device by going to Options | Advanced options | The host routing table. Select the "BOLD" entry, press the menu button and select Save now. That should send a message of registration of your provider to the device. Then try to remove the battery for 30 seconds.

I have just updated Firefox, but seems to have lost the menu on top left of the page (very useful) who had a number of elements, including the 'bookmarks', 'tools' etc.. On the far left of this 4/5 menu item is the logo of Mozilla.
Can you please tell me how to get it back?
Hi Peter, to activate different bars on and outside, including the Menu bar, you can use one of the following methods to view the list of the toolbar, and then select the desired bar (s) there:
- Right click on a place empty on the tab bar (or the button '+')
- Press the Alt key to activate the classic menu bar > view > toolbars
- in customize mode > show/hide toolbars (see: Customize Firefox commands, buttons, and toolbars)
To activate the menu bar, toolbar bookmarks or other bars, click it in the list.

If something isn't quite right, it is possible that an extension has been tweaking the menu/toolbar area...

BlackBerry smartphones can not access the Hotspot browser on Bold 9900
I recently bought a Bold 9900. Unlike my older 8520, this phone is an option to choose between browser and browser Internet Hotspot. I followed ' options > device > advanced system settings > push browser "and there is no icon for the browser. Then I did some R & D on the net and found out that the 7.0.0.261 OS does not have this feature. Instead, it passes to the browser or Hotspot on its own depending on what kind of service you are using that is to say whether a Wi - fi or BIS. I just want to know who is this thing, OS 7.0.0.261 true or there is something wrong with my phone. And if something is wrong, what can I do about it? Pease reply someone...!
What you read is true.
New phones BlackBerry will choose the browser type for you on how you can access the database.
See you soon.

Using blackBerry Smartphones. Have lost the SMS icon.
I lost my SMS icon on the main menu and cannot access the text messages. The app could have been entirely deleted by accident since I can't find it on my phone. Site Web de Blackberry has been next to useless. Took me half a day to do not make progress. Help!
Reloading your operating system on your phone will reinstall the SMS icon.
Connect your phone to your PC via USB and open BlackBerry Desktop Software. Once your phone has been recognized, click device at the top of the software, and then restore the menu drop down. Choose the most recent restore point and proceed. Once it is recharged, the icon of your SMS should be intact once more.
I hope that helps you.

Update blackBerry Smartphones a.148, nor the web browser.
OK, thanks for the help to get the operating system to date. During this operation with the Office Manager, he encountered an error where everything could not be restored and said to use the backup .ipd file.
I did, and it seems to have restored everything, with the exception of my web browser.
I get this message:
Your device was not currently entries in the directory service configuration wasn't any browser.
Please contact your service provider to enable the browser on your device.
Is this to say that I need help from Verizon, or can this be done on mine?
I went into Options - Advanced Options - Browser
There is nothing there, the phone my wife, I has not yet done the update, there are two drop-down boxes that have only 1 option: web browser.
Thanks for your help and advice!
1. options > advanced > host Routing Table > Menu > register.
2 send your service from your carrier's BIS site books.

Phone numbers blackBerry Smartphones as links in the web browser
All-
I have a section "/ mobile" of our intranet site that our users can access to get the phone numbers. It was that when they got the list of phone numbers, they can click on the phone number and he would give them the ability to dial the number. With the torch (checked on two different users), I don't have this option. The number is just text. I have never something special for the phone number (it's a link, etc.), so that the browser was just change to a link.
Is it possible to activate this the torch? Does anyone do this? Any suggestions?
Thank you
Charles
Since the Blackberry 6 OS, the browser has the WebKit engine, resulting in what the browser does'nt detect phone numbers more.
The solution is to make a link with a link to phone:
Then, when you click on the number it will call the number

BlackBerry smartphones I've lost the ability to open my emails!
It shows that I have 100 + emails in my box, but I can only access a few, especially from FACEBOOk.
Any ideas as to why? I killed a framework? Used to work perfectly.
Thank you!
Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way:
With the BlackBerry powereddevice, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Since the AppWorld is an application that runs on the BB, providing the portal of applications available, I think that the answer to the first part of your question is Yes, AppWorld must be installed on the BB... well, I think I'm misunderstaning your question.

I think it's indeed how it works... but I have not used this feature, I can't be sure.
See you soon!

I found a status bar addon, but it did not work. I don't think I should need addons make a browser to function as it did before. These aren't useful changes; Here are a few changes for the sake of change...

LVYou can change the items that appear in the menu or the toolbar.
- Click the menu button
and choose Customize.
- A special tab opens that allows you to drag and drop items into or out of the menu and the toolbar. Feel free to experiment with what works best for you. You can always start over by clicking the defaults button at the bottom of the screen.
