BlackBerry error Air SDK download

There seems to be a problem with your download server: the link doesn't work.

https://developer.BlackBerry.com/air/downloads/fetch/BlackBerry-air-SDK-Installer-3.1.1-win-20130225...

I get the following error:

You don't have permission to access/air/downloads/on this server.

I logged onto my account of developers, not sure that the cause for this.

Can someone confirm this error message.  Also, where can I download the sdk?

Yes, it's perhaps because of the country that you are trying to download from. BlackBerry is a Canadian company and the country that you need to allow trade with the Canada.

Never mind - I thought of it myself...

You need to download the version of the SDK * WITH * the compiler (here:http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download-mac.html ) and then delete the contents of the folder/Applications/Adobe Flash Builder 4.7/eclipse/plugins/com.adobe.flash.compiler_4.7.0.349722/AIRSDK and replace them with the contents of the AIRSDK_Compiler.tbz2 file that you downloaded.

So - to be clear that you have to do BOTH of these things - the thing I did in my first post with the overlay, AND the thing I did in this post with the contents of the folder AIRSDK replacement to make it work properly...

I wish that when you google "How to upgrade AIR SDK in Flash Builder 4.7" it would return to a single page with these TWO sets of instructions on them.

In any case, the problem is now solved...

  • How to use AIR SDK with Flash Builder 4.6 3.8?

Until now I was using AIR SDK 3.6 with Flash Builder 4.6 on mac OS X, with a known method of new sdk "rsyncing" and patch the xml-s config files, but now, I downloaded the new version of 3.8 SDK Beta, because I tried to update, and this method fails. For a new project, Flex Mobile, I get the compilation error "could not resolve < s:TabbedViewNavigatorApplication > to a component implementation, problem Flex"...

I see on the AIR SDK download page http://labs.Adobe.com/downloads/air.html there are two versions of the SDK, one is the compiler 2.0 level one is for users of Flex... What should I download and update with Flash Builder 4.6?

This new SDK can be used even on FB 4.6? or is supported only for FB 4.7?

    Thank you.

You can use http://labsdownload.adobe.com/pub/labs/flashruntimes/air/air3-8_sdk_sa_mac.tbz2 with the FB 4.6. Here are the steps to overlay the sdk

    1 exit Flash Builder.

    2. (optional) save for the Flex SDK kit by copying the directory.

In Flash Builder, for example, to copy the directory to:

    • Mac OS: / Applications/Adobe Flash Builder 4.7/sdks/4.6.0

    3. download the AIR SDK file appropriate for your operating system for example http://labsdownload.adobe.com/pub/labs/flashruntimes/air/air3-8_sdk_sa_mac.tbz2, unzip it and save it on your MAC OS X.

    4. in the Terminal, run the following command

    Ditto sudo/path/air3-8_sdk_sa_mac Applications/Adobe\ Flash\ Builder\ 4.6/sdks/4.6.0

    5. (optional) to access the new AIR API 3.8, update your application descriptor file to the namespace 3.8.

' To update the namespace, change the xmlns attribute in the application descriptor to: http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/3.8 ">

    6. (optional) to ensure that the version of the SWF file output SWF 21 targets, pass a the additional compiler argument:-swf-version = 21.

    Hope this will help.

  • error 'BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK 0.9.4 for Adobe AIR does not support mobile projects."

    Hello

I installed Adobe Flash Builder Burrito and Blackberry Tablet OS SDK 0.9.4 on Windows 7. When I start to create a new project by selecting the ' New/ActionScript Mobile Project' menu, then in the new dialog box project of Mobile of ActionScript, I give a project name, and then choose 'BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK 0.9.4 for Adobe Air. At this point, the 'Next' button is gray on an error message on top as "BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK 0.9.4 for Adobe AIR does not support mobile projects.". Is there something that I am missing?

I read somewhere someone comlains error message "BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK 0.9.4 for Adobe AIR support not projects mobile." occurs after installing Blackberry Tablet OS SDK 0.9.4 while there is no problem with Blackberry Tablet OS SDK 0.9.3. If it is true, where can I download Blackberry Tablet OS SDK 0.9.3?

Thank you very much in advance,

@johnwneg, make sure that when installing FB Burrito, you:

    (1) run the installer as administrator.

    (2) select English International rather than NA English.

Here are some tips to help you get started.  It all depends on the terms that you use for your search.  For the first, I would use "adobe air browse file."  For the second, I start with only a variation as "adobe air download file" and then adjust according to the first results.

  • An ADT package fatal error, possibly caused by 4.12 Flex with 13 AIR SDK!

    Hello

I just downloaded 4.12 Flex & AIR 13 & Flash Player 13 with Flex SDK Installer 2.7 today, they are all versions of production output, I properly import the 4.12.0 folder my Flash Builder 4.7 SDK (x 64 on Windows 7 x 64) like I always do.

Then I try to export version for my Mobile Flex to the IPA AdHoc file project, the bin-release-temp folder and all its content (MyDemo.swf, MyDemo - app.xml and etc. subfolders) are generated successfully, but when I click on the button end inside the Export Release Build window, ADT begins to pack the contents of bin-release-temp, just after a few seconds, windows pop up Flash Builder says : an error window:

"Error in the application of packaging:

"D:\VLP\FLEX\MyDemo\bin-release-temp\AOT\MyDemo-app.xml: 308 error: file is missing from the package.

(I looked carefully the files in the folder of the AOT, the file MyDemo - app.xml was there whenever he began to create a package, it is not all missing!) But when the Flash Popup Builder error above, the record of the AOT is automatically removed from the bin-release-temp folder)

Then I try to add "-useLegacyAOT not ' before '- supply - profile' to customize the throw, which results in the same error above.

When I used Flex 4.11 (or earlier versions) + AIR 4 (or earlier versions) + Flash Player 12 (or earlier versions), I can package the same mobile flex (MyDemo) project to AdHoc IPA without error at all, one thing to notice is that I did not use '-useLegacyAOT not "Customize launch right here.

I don't know if it's a bug AIR 13.0.0.83 SDK or the Flex SDK bug 4.12.0, but it is fatal to Flex Mobile projects! (BTW there no problem with pure ActionScript Mobile projects)

Could someone please have a look at this issue, through other responses!

    Hi Chris,

I have confirmed that it is an AIR SDK 13.0.0.83 bug.

I reported this bug to Adobe Bugbase, and I have also included a workaround:

    https://BugBase.Adobe.com/index.cfm?event=bug&ID=3750892

    The solution is:

Just comment the tag in your - app.xml will solve this bug, like this:

It could be a number of things. Internet free/busy information. Site occupied rim. etc. It might be easier to just DL the update of your carrier package and then install it on top of the DTM... then DTM will update your BB the next time that you attach. You can get your carriers DL package through this Portal:
