  Hello

  I have a server with the issue detailed in KB2545850.  I downloaded the fix Fix370193 (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hotfix/kbhotfix?kbnum=2545850&kbln=en-us) and tried to install it but it seems to just hang during installation.

  I tried several times and it fails every time.  No errors are displayed or saved, he's right there with the display of progress bar.  The Cancel button does not cancel.

  Restart the server results it starts successfully and I had to go back to a snapshot.

  I tried to let the software update apply for 16 hours with no luck.  Someone has seen something like this before?

• The DirectX Web Installer hangs during installation of the components

  I try to get several games running, but am stuck by the demands to DirectX 9 c. My machine is Windows 7, so it's DX11 installed. I went here to download the web installer:

  When I run the installer, it downloads the components, then hangs on "Installation of components. It displays the message "copying files...". "and the 1.0.2910.0/Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3DX.xml

  One of my CPU is maxed out running dxwsetup.exe * 32 and this for hours. My computer is a Dell with Windows 7 64 bit.

  Are there instructions anywhere to update DirectX to hand?

  Steve, thanks for your suggestion. Running at startup using the minimum does not solve the problem, but it got me thinking in the right direction.

  I finally put in the Win7 disc and 'fix '. It is really a re - install, but the programs and data are stored.
  It took a few hours to go through the installation, but after that, I ran the DirectX Web Installer smoothly. Played some BioShock 2 last night!

• BlackBerry JDE Build Error - new installation - Hello World

  I'm new to the Blackberry development.  I was able to get Eclipse works without any problems whatsoever and I built a few sample programs and one of my own.  However, it seems to me that RIM Blackberry JDE has some nice features for the visualization of information specific to Blackberry batteries, memory statistics, etc. Then I tried to get the RIM Blackberry JDE 4.5 and 4.7 installed so I can revisit.  I had some problems installing a reason any.  I've gotten past these problems, but I'm starting to get the headache trying to build "Hello World".

  What would someone mind helping me resolve the error of next generation for 'Hello World '.  It will probably take something simple and I feel stupid, but I have to finish reviewing the RIM JDE so I can select my development environment and begin to develop.

  (You must make sure that) that you have installed a suitable JDK, and (b) in the JDK bin directory is in your Windows PATH environment variable.

  Open a command window and type javac

  If it is not found, the JDE cannot find it either.

• BlackBerry JDE plugin for Eclipse

  I'm new to the Blackberry development.  The first thing I did was downloaded "BlackBerry_JDE_PluginFull_1.0.0.67.exe".  I followed the installation instructions and the process is stuck at the 'Installation' stage and never be able to complete the installation of the plug-in.  Then I downloaded "eJDE1.0.0.67_With_CP4.5.0.16.zip" and add the plugin Eclipse Software Update.  After Eclipse installation is complete, the "Blackberry" is added to the list of functions.  When I click on "Blackberry", only "installation Signature keys' shows.  The "signature of the query" and "Workspace to configure Blackberry" were gray outside.  I tried to search for the file with .cod on my pc and can not find.

  What should I do next to get the Eclipse environment for the development of Blackberry running?

  I'm not sure I understand your questions, but if you try to create a new project of BlackBerry, go to file > New > project and select BlackBerry project. If you have an existing project, you can add it to your workspace by file > import, and then click BlackBerry project.

  To test the project, you can select "Debug as BlackBerry Simulator". To install the application on your phone, you must create the ALX file (right-click on the project and select "Generate ALX file") and then point the BlackBerry Manager to the Application loader in the ALX file.

• Satellite A205-S6808 - Vista hangs during installation

  Hey all,.

  I tried to install/re-install my OS Vista on my Satellite 205-6808. But I get a pxe - e61:media test failure check cable. (But the HARD drive is installed correctly) Then he will be inactive for a while then windows green lights flashing in sequence a little and one arrow and just hangs until I stopped him.

  I do not think that Vista is really starting to install but it see something on the old disk. I try to use the disc that came with the laptop, but when I read the instructions it tell me to go online "http://vista.toshiba.com/getready/upgradeadvisor" but I can't t there is no way for me to get there.

  The laptop not charge not any type of internet functions.
  Please help and advice please. I can t go out and buy a new laptop for the drivers I have for the camera and the telescope are not made for W7

  If please try to set the BIOS to the default settings and try to start installing recovery again. This PXE message occurs when the laptop can not find any device bootable and as a final attempt to use the LAN card.

  After changing the BIOS default settings to check please if the HARD drive is listed correctly in the BIOS on the first page.

  Never heard of this. You just start installation of recovery.

  After laptop start press F12 to view the menu options start. Place the recovery disc into the optical disc drive, choose DVD/CD from the list and press ENTER.

  I found the solution:

  Define an arbitrary Constanst (preprocessor definitions) in the project properties.

  That activates the function "preprocessing" of eclipse and everything works fine.

• Flash Player v17.0.0.134 - hangs during installation to 25%

  I'm on a MacBook Pro running Yosemite (OSX 10.10.2) and I'm trying to update Adobe Flash Player version 17.0.0.134 although the installation hangs at 25%.  I downloaded the installation package of the Adobe.com via Firefox v36.0.1 site.

  I uninstalled the previous version, restarted the computer and retried the installation, nothing helps.  I also searched forum questions already asked about this problem, and most of what I saw was for v10. I'm looking so answers resources updated to fix this.

  All suggestions are greatly appreciated and this is welcomed.

  Download the package from this link.  Double-click to open it in your downloads folder. When you see the Red 'install' folder, right click and select "view the contents of the package; Click on the "Happy" folder Then click on the "Resources" folder Then, double-click on the file "Adobe Flash Player.pkg". The installation will begin.  It worked for me... FINALLY!  Ugh...

  Step 1: Re-register Windows install

  To re-register the Windows Installer, verify the location of the Msiexec.exe file on your hard disk and in the Windows registry, and then re-register Windows Installer. To do this, follow these steps. 
  1. click on start and then click Run.
  2. in the Open box, type msiexec /unreg and then press ENTER.
  3. click on start and then click Run.
  4. in the Open box, type msiexec/regserver, and then press ENTER.

  Step 2: Stop and restart the Windows Installer Service.

  1. click on the Start button or press the Windows keyboard.

  2. in the search box, type Services and then click on the Services element that appears at the top.

  3. expand the Services window and then scroll down to Windows Installer.

  4. right click on the Windows Installer list item and then click on stop, right click again and then click Start.

  Step 3: SFC Scan

  TheSFC utility allows administrators to perform an analysis of all protected resources to make sure they are the correct version. Whether SFC should find all incorrect versions in one of these protected resources, SFC will be replaced by the correct versions.

  You can still run a sfc on the windows vista computer scan. To run a scan suite sfc as follows:

  a. Click Start, in the start search bar type cmd, right-click on the command prompt icon in the box programs and then click Run as administrator.

  b. at the command prompt typesfc/scannow , and then press ENTER.

  NOTE: you must log in using the administrator account and try to install it like that. Or you can alsotry running the program by right clicking and select "run as Administrator". It should work.

  Step 4: Utility Windows Install CleanUp:

  Windows Installer CleanUp Utility may be able to help. You can use the utility to remove installation information for programs that were installed by using Windows Installer. Remember that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility does not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall on.

  NOTE: Can we haveOnly anti-virus installed / running on your computer at any time. Conflicts, system crashes and frost can occur if you have an Anti Virus installed and running on the computer.

  Step 5: Windows install

  We need to install the latest version of Windows Installer that is 4.5, the link to it is:

  I wanted to get the functions scanner works again after the upgrade to Windows 7 from XP and the original installation CD no longer works.

  I downloaded the latest version of the software driver from HP's Support web site.

  Whenever I try to install it it gets in what concerns the "application of updates" and the program is a hardware failure and disappears with no other message!

  I have tried all the option to disable antivirus, firewall, etc., but still, it crashes every time!

  Each application needs to at least 1 entry point.  You might have the auto application run at startup and does not display an icon.

  Or you can have both with the help of another point of entry.  Could be invoked from an icon, and the other could auto start.

  1. Tried to update to Photoshop, get a 49 error
  2. Uninstall Photoshop
  3. Try to use the creative cloud to reinstall Photoshop
  4. The files are uploaded to 39%

• Plugin disabled during installation

  First, I installed acrobat standard 8.3 on my new computer portable 64-bit windows 7 and then installed acrobat reader X on it.

  Programs run when I opened but after 1 or 2 seconds lead to a dialogue with the detected invalid measage plugin. Adobe Reader will close.

  

  On my windows 7 32 bit, both programs work very well together.

  I do not have to add plugins.

  Any ideas?

  Found the answer.

  Without knowing it, was a plugin of Babylon, deleted and works fine now.

  Path is C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 10.0\Reader\plug_ins

  Of course, the path will be a little different depending on the OS etc.

• 10.11.1 update 10.11.3 hangs during installation

  I'm under El Capitan 10.11.1 version.  Yesterday, I started the update to 10.11.3 App store.  He seemed to progress normally until the progress bar has got "17 minutes remaining" how he stayed for about 18 hours.  I tried to use the command-L pull up the Setup logs, but it did not work.  I had no choice but to make a hard cock to the bottom of the laptop.  And after several attempts to find the computer, I finally fell a Time Machine restore.

  If you do not already have a current backup, please backup all data, and then reinstall the OS. * you don't need to erase the boot volume, and you won't need the backup unless something is wrong. If the system has been upgraded an earlier version of Mac OS X, you may need to the Apple ID and password to use.

  There are ways to back up a computer that is not fully functional. Ask if you need advice.

  If you installed the runtime Java distributed by Apple, and still need, you will need to reinstall it. It goes the same for Xcode. All other data will be preserved.
