BlackBerry Mobile Q10 application

I just upgraded to the Q10 and my Bank said that their app is not available.  I guess that's because it's a recent model.  He returned to BlackBerry or my Bank to recover?

The best way to know if it works on your phone is looking for BlackBerry World from your phone. If it appears, it is compatible. If it isn't, it isn't. Notice that you get from your phone.

See you soon.

When the z10 blackberry mobile banking applications

Hello and welcome to the community!

It already does! I just did a search (using the "banks") and have discovered a few (too many to count). You searched by you want?

If one you want does not appear, then you must push the developer of the app for it... BlackBerry does not "pull" the demands of anyone, rather, the developers make the choice as to which platforms they support. If the developer of the application you want to chose not to support BB10, then it's this developer you should make your request.

    Good luck!

  • An application must run as a background service on the Blackberry mobile phone

Is it possible to run an application as a background service on the Blackberry mobile phone...

I want to get the location of the mobile user for every 30 seconds...

    Yes.

If you use the search engine (see the search box near the top of the right-hand page) you will find other Threads that talk about it.  I found this article too, by searching for "background application.

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/create-a-background-application/Ta-p/445226

With this particular application, you certainly need to a leading component, if only to ask permission to get the location before starting the background processing.  So I think you need to look at creating another entry.  Look again once more, but here is a KB article:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/set-up-an-alternate-entry-point-for-an-appli...

And you probably want to request permissions.  See the PermissionsAPI example that comes with your tools.

There is a lot of variation in the ability of GPS on different devices and different levels of the BONE.  It is a good starting point:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/location-APIs-start-to-finish/Ta-p/571949

I would check the code example that you can see at this link

Finally, find places is an art, search the Forum a little when you start having problems with it.

    Good luck.

  • ADF mobile deployment for windows/blackberry-mobile option is disabled

    Hello
We seek to deploy the sample FOD mobile application on a blackberry Simulator according to the tutorial given at:.
    http://www.Oracle.com/WebFolder/technetwork/tutorials/OBE/jdev/obe11jdev/PS3/adf_mobile_top/adf_mobile/jdtut_11r2_54_1.html

We had followed all the steps in part 2 and have been able to deploy the application on the BB Simulator and test also.

After that, we followed the steps in part 3 and now when you try to deploy the mobile client application on the Simulator, the deployment for BB profile option is disabled and this is why we are not able to deploy the application.

We Jdev 11.1.1.4.0 with mobile client extension installed and also installed the Simulator and BB JDE.
Can someone please help us get the deployment to BB profile option active again?

PS: We also tried to install Jdev 11.1.1.4.0 with extension adf mobile on another machine with JDE BB and BB 9700 Simulator, but on this new machine, deployment profile is disabled from the beginning, we are not yet able to deploy the changes that we made to part 2 of this tutorial.

    Kind regards
    Hemant

Hi, Hemant, just to be sure, have you tried the kickoff of deployment of the project MobileClient, or in the Application menu? Mobile client app must be deployed in the application menu.

In addition, if you have already deployed, the deployment profile has been created, so you only have to deploy again in the application menu.

If you see that these items are disabled in some way, then I don't think I've seen it before. Maybe we can set up a web conference to look at.

Please just ping - me directly.

    Thank you

  • Flash Builder 4 doesn't have the 'BlackBerry Tablet AIR Application".

I'm trying to get the HelloWorld application to work, but I can't find the "BlackBerry Tablet AIR Application" option. It should appear in the debug configuration, but it's not.

I already have the Simulator works and correctly installed the Playbook SDK (link to version 2.5 SDK and Flash Builder). I have no error in compilation (QNX namespaces are used), I think that the installation has been correctly executed.

    Any ideas?

You need to update to 4.0.1 FB. See release notes.

  • Update blackBerry OS Q10 10.1.0.4181 - no longer have a mobile network connections

I have questions after I tried to update my BB Q10 on 10.1.0.4181. I received a notification that there is an update of the device software, so I made a backup of my Q10 with Blackberry link before the update. When I did the update, I do not unplug my phone from the power source, restarted and has been blocked on the blackberry for a couple of hours logo. I tried to turn it off, and it wouldn't so I did a battery pull. Unfortunately, I didn't know that you shouldn't do BB10. I don't know if this is the cause of the problem, but now I can not connect to the mobile network. When I go to network connections, it doesn't let me turn it on. Depending on the settings of my phone, I always the old version of the software, as well as the update has not yet taken. Please, can someone (in other words) tell me what I need to do? I would have preferred not to lose everything on my phone and I know that the Blackberry link backups can be summary. It would be better to go into a Bell store and let them take a look or should I try to restore the backup, reset my phone? I do not know my best option, and I also need to do a little hand-holding if possible to tell me how to reset my phone if that's the case. Thanks for your help.

I thought about it. I suggest to anyone that they do not do the update live, but rather to connect to the Blackberry link on your laptop computer and load the update there. I Redid the update via Blackberry link and now my phone is back to normal.

  • Questions of blackBerry Smartphones pushing the mobile CRM application to the BB 8830 devices

I have problems getting an application to install on the BlackBerry devices used throughout our society.

I am using BB 8830 (OS 4.5) devices on the network of Verizon Wireless and collaborated with BlackBerry Manager v4.1 on our BES. I'm trying to push a mobile CRM software application for these devices using a Software Configuration implemented in the BlackBerry Manager. I have successfully pushed an old version of this app for these devices in the past using other Config software. I did the following before trying to get the app:

    1. installation of the portable software on the BES.

    2. has created a folder under %CommonProgramFiles%\Research-en Motion\Shared\Applications to hold .cod files .alx files and APP then their copied in the folder.

3 created the software index by running loader.exe /index from the command prompt.

    4. about control and strategies COMPUTER was preconfigured for older software config, we used successfully, then we have the same ones used when creating the configuration of the software for this mobile CRM software

5 assigned a COMPUTER policy to users that allows the software to install on their devices

    6. check that all BlackBerry Services associated with this process are running

When I would assign the software to the user and then select deploy Application, it would immediately act as though the software has been installed on the device showing the Application as being up to date and the Config like OK. The it policy gets well positioned on the device, but no application appears.

Can someone help me understand what Miss me, and why the app is never pushed?

Figured it out. There is a setting on the server that has always acted as if the previous version of the application has been installed, even if it has been removed from the device. Weird, but once I deleted that setting, it allowed me to get the new application.

  • Problem unlocking blackBerry BB Q10 Q10

    Hello world

I recently bought my BB Q10. I live in France (SFR network) and bought my phone with Amazon.fr

I have also recently connected on-site Blackberry Protect and set a password for my mobile.

Unfortunately (!) I lost my password and the mobile is locked until I have do not enter the password. I'm on my tenth try, then what happens if I'm wrong again?

    Can I reset this password?

    Help, please...

    Thank you all

    LOÏC

If you set a password for the device from the site Protect is the new device password. If you don't know, then after 10 attempts the appliance will wipe itself. Once it clears, you need the BBID password to set up the device again.

  • BlackBerry Z30 Q10 Link Switch Z30 question

    Hello world

I recently took my Z30 currently Q10 so basically I crossed link blackberry and used the feature of switching device, I fly over all fine except the apps that flies over does not have the entire screen of the Z30, alone takes up the same space as he did on my Q10 and I can't move applications into the empty space at the bottom of the screen. How can I fix it? I tried hard reset and factory wipe too then redid everything and no change. Also, I can't hear the noise when you type on the virtual keys now :/

    Help please!

Remove applications from the device is App World or by pressing the app (s) in question to see the icon small basket... click on the trash to delete.

Back to Appworld to download and install fresh for the Z30.

For the return of keyboard, go into your settings > language and input > Feedback and the volume of your keyboard.

If you have the main volume control to MUTE or silent profile, the sound will be silent.
