  I copied a few ringtones using the USB cable in the ringtones folder.

  When I try to search for them as they appear in a very strange order / organization in ' selector sound;

  Next to this, I have no possibility to organize them somehow, when I click on the picker of his I see a list grouped by letters.

  I have click sound selector, I scroll go at the bottom of the list in the 'unknown' folder, press on, open another folder "Untitled" and I see my ringtones copied here.

  When I attached a specific ringtone to a contact, I woul like to have all ringtones directly in the list of tones, without paste the "Sound" selector I don't know why, but two of my ringtones appear in this list, the others (about 25) are in the folders that I described above.

  Hi, since I have updated the software to 10.2.1.537 my ringtone will not work.  When I go in to Notifications, requests and it says the phone ringing, I chose (Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive), but when my phone rings its some random generic ringtone.  It gives me the ability to customize individual contacts, but I want it sounds with this ringtone for all calls!  Any suggestions welcome please :-)

  I should have been more specific.  My chosen ringtone would not work, but I fixed it! Yay! With a flash of inspiration, I have re-uploaded my ringtone to my phone and then set it as my ringtone.  Fingers crossed it seems to work! But thank you for answering :-) FB

  If you try and you change a contact, you'll see a tab at the bottom called extra info. Expand it and there will be an option called call handling/assign ring tone. Also assign a ringtone for each contact can be one heck of a tedious job, so what I did is create groups such as family, friends, etc. of the company and add contacts to these groups and this clever app lets assign the ringtones group.

  Much easier that way. Wonder why the ability to assign ringtones to groups is not there in this phone... anyway. Good luck.

  I don't see how to do it and I don't think it makes sense to add a ringtone to the Contacts in El Capitan.

  On your iPhone you can probably do it. It would be wise to do so here.

  If I set a specific ringtone for a specific contact, its not work properly during a call... the proplem is if a message came from contact, the same calling buzzer sounds instead of notification of message... its a seriouss bug... Try to give the solution

  The ringtone that plays when a contact calls you is a sound different than the one you get when they text you or you send an email. Each application has it's own for notifications or ringtones. You must go to the application responsible for the notification or the ringtone and change it is there for that.

  In other words, if you want the same contact to get the same sound for ringtones and notifications of the texts that to go into contacts and set the ringtone for that contact. You then also have to enter the application of the text, then set it to the notification for this same contact the same ringing noise that you set in the contact application.

  This isn't a bug. This works as expected. I hope this helps.

• BlackBerry Hub cannot open any contact...

  I get the error "the contact does not exist" when I click any contact in the Contacts application. On a Nexus 6 p with Android with a paid subscription of Hub 6.01 + and all installed applications...

  The only ones that I can open are those of the Favorites tab, but these even gives error even if I try to open them from the all Contacts tab or anywhere else.

  I gave all the permissions in the Contacts app, I tried to wipe data and cache, also tried to uninstall and reinstall the app, still the same problem.

  No idea how to solve this problem?

  Hi Ty,

  I found and fixed the problem.

  Looks like the Contacts Android app is the default application for contacts that caused a conflict that I guess. I went to the setting / applications and clicked the app Android Contacts, clicked on "Open by default" and then clicked on the button "default clear".

  I then opened the Contacts from BlackBerry and clicked on any contact and he asked me whether the app to use, I chose the BlackBerry Contacts one and clicked on "Always".

  Seems to work fine now.

  Contacts have been saved in the memory card to the vCard format, so my new phone can import their very quickly and thus solved the problem.

  Double just check your times, 2 months, it is quite a short delay when watching non - open, how much time would you average contact by email during this period of 2 months?
