BlackBerry Smartphones Ringtone length too short

Hello

My ringtone is not going for a long time when I get a call, and I very often have to miss a call as well – how can I make it sound more?

There are two different aspects to your problem, and I don't know which is really your problem. First of all, the ringing time is controlled by the length of the track to 'music' ringtone. If it is repeated or not is controlled by your profile.

Now, how long the phone 'rings' before it goes to voicemail is controlled by your carrier. Call them and ask them to extend the deadline. Generally, they can go up to 30 seconds, although you might start to be charged for the calls at or around this length of time (if not before).

  • Passport for blackBerry increase ringtone length

I started using my passport yesterday and so far am really love him. But one thing that drives me crazy is how LITTLE time the bell rings. For BBM for the text, especially for telephone calls. Duration shorter than my Q10. I have several ringtones that I did for the applications and the people and they were fine on the Q10, but on the Passport, they are very short. Isn't in a case of flip, my pocket, I've quit smoking if I pick up or return value, or something like that. I asked to call me with her laying face upward on my desk to see if it sounds really very little time, people. This is the case. Beyond sitting here and staring at it, I will have no interaction with her. Ringtones still very short. It is a problem in the cold because I am living mainly in insulated overalls when I go to the barn. If it does not sound long enough I don't hear it. I looked at every setting I can think and no way to increase the length of time?

Thank you, also, so far, so VERY well!

Remove your battery while your phone is off will do nothing to help.  You must ensure that your phone is always on when you remove your battery.

(And while you're here, please remove your e-mail address of your post.  Personal information, such as e-mail addresses, are not allowed in messages.)

    I hope that helps you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Ringtone still does not not after August update

I have an AT & T unlocked priv. Since I can't get the OTA updates because I'm on Tmo. I reload the OS whenever it is available on the BlackBerry site. Since contact ringtones did not work when I got the update MM, I jumped on the August update that came out this week. displays contacts ringtones don't always work. Any suggestion? Frustrated by that.

I called support of BB. and it seems that the contact ringtone problem is not resolved in the update of AAG153 for AT & T. They were working actively on this issue.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones ringtones and wait ringtones

Is it possible for me to make my own ringtones and ringtones of waiting for my Blackberry Curve 8330 to my own Collection of CD and if so, how? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

As long as the music is in .wav or mp.3 format you can make your own ringtones. You can't make your own ringtones of waiting, they are on the server of carriers and not kept in the BB.

I use a program called wavpad for editing the song and creating the tone.

Beware to not leave your phone on fort well, ZYDECO will have everybody dancin upward!

If it responds to your message, please correct usig star options on the yellow Kudo.

    Thank you!

The '0' key is too sensitive. Sometimes when I type, I very lightly touch and it keeps typing "0 s" throughout the day. When I use the 'Space' key, the phone type '0 '. Maybe it's the hardware, I don't really know, but it's a nightmare.

I have already restarted the phone, pulled out battery, etc...

Thank you!! I'd appreciate any help.

    Hello

I'm sorry to say I think it's already too late! If our BlackBerry never am wet then we shouldn't try to turn to see if it works. Must immediately remove the battery and also SIM media card. We should put in a bag of uncooked rice that absorb moisture. Should allow for at least 3 to 4 days unless we are sure that the moisture has been absorbed completely. Then we need to put our BlackBerry over entire surface of output as stabilizing heat, or in the dashboard of a car on a sunny day. Before inserting the battery, we should be sure that it is completely dry.

When moisture or any substance liquid in our BlackBerry it starts corrosion which leads to the problem like quick battery drainage, by typing problem and many more. You the current problem appears to be for this reason!

Now, you can visit your Internet access provider to any repair store to see what they can offer.

    Good luck.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Ringtone question

OK, when someone calls me, my phone begins to vibrate 3 times before the start of the ring, where can I find the options to change the duration of the vibration? I know it's the same menu of options when you choose how hard your ringtone is. Thanks in advance for answers!

    Hi wrs0124:

Locate the PROFILES icon on the Blackberry phone. Open and go to ADVANCED options and you can create or edit a new profile.

The current profile will be considered as active. To change the current profile, use the menu button while you have the profile highlighted and the "Edit" menu

  • BlackBerry Smartphones ringtones

Just picked up a used 9360

All works except ringtones; for all listed when I try to use.say invalid ring

    How can I activate them

You don't "turn on" a ringtone. It of there or not.

Go to this URL using your Blackberry browser and see if it will play or download.

    https://www.box.com/z10ringtones

Otherwise, you can down load them on your PC and transfer them to your BlackBerry.

Yes, but not in the native BlackBerry operating system.

You will need a third-party application to perform this function.

  • Cheek finished the normal ringtone blackBerry Smartphones ringtone

This is an unusual situation.  I have this ringtone which is a song about a cartoon character.  Some children texted me and I recorded in my ringtones folder.  Later I tried to text to a few members of the family. On one of the attempts, she didn't not reach because I hit the wrong choice (don't know how).

Anyway, since then, the song lights up constantly and plays throughout.  For example, if I get a text, the sound signal of normal text turns off.  But eventually, the song started playing and I can't stop it until he played through.  If I get an instant message from someone on Blackberry Messenger, the normal message sound alert goes off, but then the song starts and resonated throughout.  If I make a call, after I hang up the song goes out and plays throughout.  If I send an email, as soon as I hit the button send, the song goes out and plays throughout.

Nothing I have tried seems to work.  I have checked all my ringtone and contact settings. I deleted the ringtone/song of my ringtone file and delete some messages and emails on phone where I sent it to myself or a family member.   Place the phone on silent doesn't seem to work.  Once the beginning of the song I can't stop until he plays every 30 seconds. Anyway, I still have the same problem and the song will not leave play.  So, I think you can see my dilemma.

Someone at - it suggestions on how to solve this problem?  I thought that maybe it was a virus, but the person I know who has the ringtone has the same problem as me.  I recently installed a new update/upgrade of the Blackberry operating system.  Do you think that there is a problem with the update?

To correct your problem first turn off your phone and remove the battery for 7 and 1/2 minutes to completely restart the hard disk. I myself was stupid enough to download enough porn for a year, so I have several viruses on my phone that I work currently through.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Ringtones of old to new 9700 8100

I just got a new BlackBerry Bold 9700 and want to transfer my old BlackBerry Pearl 8100 ringtones. Ringtones have been purchased through T-Mobile.

I tried to transfer by Bluetooth. They seemed to be transferred, but could not be played by the "BOLD". Although the BlackBerry media player would open them, no sound would play and they were only about a second long instead of about 15 seconds.

I then tried to transfer with Roxio Media Manager for BlackBerry which is part of the old version of the BlackBerry Desktop Software provided with my Pearl. First, I copied my Pearl ringtones to my computer, then from my computer to my "BOLD". I got the same results as with Bluetooth.

Finally, I tried to transfer the ringtones memory from the device to the Pearl SD micro card and then put the card in the "BOLD". It works no more.

I don't know if this has something to do with ringtones. MP3.rem. the .rem isn't visible once I have transfer ringtones memory unit to micro SD memory. Encryption for my micro SD card is set to off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It is possiable, they could be restircted only be used on the device they have been downloaded to. The best thing I can say is that you contact the vendor of the ringtone or the original point of sale or download.

    I hope this helps.

  • BlackBerry smartphone keyboard tone too strong...

Keyboard tone too strong and disruptive...

Is it possible to reduce the volume of keypad?

    Without creating a profile.

In the sound settings you might cut completely from tone or lower found notification, but would personally turn off the tone.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones music plays too fast

I was listening music on my Blackberry and leaned on it. Somehow, I managed to make music in the fast lane so that four seconds of the song is played in a real second. I have tried everything to stop this, I have never stopped the song, played more songs, on the phone and turns off again, and again the same thing happens.

If someone could help me, that would be fantastic because I can't really do it without my music and I use my blackberry as an ipod, so I have no other alternative.

    Hello BBUser1122,

    Welcome to the community,

Please try to restart pull a battery i; e. While the power is on, remove the battery and wait a minimum then reinsert

  • Do not delete blackBerry Smartphones Ringtone

Well, I know how to delete a ringtone, but I tried and it won't go away.  That's what happened.  I went in the Office Manager so I could rename my ringtones I downloaded (I hate it when the words of the song all together).  When I went into my ringtone file on my phone, he had two rings for every sone (e.g. I changed Faraway for Far Away and both have been listed on my phone).  The one I've renamed is one that works.  I tried to delete the old one (Faraway), but it will not erase.  It's really irritating me to go in this folder and see the two names of ringtone for each song (if it makes no sense to me).

    Any ideas how to fix?

    Thank you very much!

I assume you are using a memory card?

Take all your take ringtone and copy them to a directory on the PC, remove the ringtones folder on the card of support,

Create the folder again, load the ringtones as you want. Then make a traction battery with the phone on,

replace the battery after a minute, let reeboot unit 1 to 3 minutes, ringtones will need to reindex for about five minutes later, look and see if the hurt is gone

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Ringtones and the Notification Options for SMS text phone

I can't locate the profile of notification area (by following the instructions in the guide) on my "BOLD" to change the ringtone for phone and notification options for calls and texts in and out of the Holster.  I go to application Options, but there is no section for phone or SMS texts and not even in the Advanced Options section.  I remember correctly, I was able to make these changes in the application of profiles under subsection advanced... but not on the "BOLD". In addition, I somehow deleted my phone icon application when I hide and rearrange my icons.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the menu, profiles, scroll to the tip, press on in normal conditions (or which one is active), and you have the chance to change ringtones for phone, sms text, email and more.

For the phone icon, switch between topics (menu, options, themes and switch to another and do the same to the ones you use) and check if you have the item on the screen, (you don't need the phone icon, press the green button and is exactly the same function)
