BlackBerry not Send or Receive Email of Smartphones will
My 8330 started acting up last night. Through my email sprint.blackberry.net, I sent 5 to the same email address. I received the check box indicating that they have been sent successfully. After 20 minutes or so my phone warns me of a new email but it is not a new email, but a red X in the email that just now had the box. This happened several times. I tried to resend the email and compose a new email and all scenarios was the same. Also, I was sent 4 emails last night from this same e-mail address, none of which I received. I did 2 soft and 2 hard reboots all through the night, that nothing has changed. Anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it? I had it happen once, and I was to the point of breaking my phone. E-mail through my phone is the only way that I have contact with some people, then this function is VERY important to me.

The most logical reason for such a problem that apparently attaches, is that email servers are down for maintenance. The fact that this happened in the night more suggested scheduled maintenance.

To enable authentication, add your account to e-mail again then under Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Servers check the option that says "my server requires authentication". So try it.

BlackBerry smartphones can not send or receive emails from hotmail.
I stopped getting emails from my hotmail on my phone account yesterday and then a message from blackberry, saying that I had to post my email, I did very well and also had recorded my blackberry ID. However, I still can't send or receive my emais and when I try to send it comes up with an error message: "user account is INVALID mode." I changed my hotmail password the other day; don't know if it's important.
In addition, I tried to change the e-mail account set up on my blackberry, but it does not allow me to access the account settings or let me add a new account, the option just doesn't exist or appear, who had not been a problem so far. I could, however, set up a company account if wanted. I do not know who to contact about this thought so I post here everything first...

Finally we got to know the problem.
Since there is no EDGE symbol means that you need to call your service provider to activate your package BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) active or active if re forbade it.

Lately, my blackberry has been very slow to receive emails. They will be in my Inbox in Outlook, but can take more than 2 hours to come to my blackberry. Example this morning, I received emails that came through Outlook from 09:07 by at 10:07 (7 emails in total). They all came through both my BlackBerry at 11:02. This has happened for a few days, and others have experienced the same problem with their BlackBerry device. I've had this phone for 2 years but never encountered this problem before and nothing has changed with my email account. Any suggestions?
Since this is the case for everyone, I think it's a slowdown on the network of Bell or BIS via BlackBerry. Historically, these things clear up on their own, but you could connect with Bell and see if they can get you an answer. If this is not the case, they can worsen your BlackBerry case to get answers.
