BlackBerry phone loan of Q10 of wireless provider - unable to connect with ID

Hello!

I had a problem that requires my Q10 to send in for repair and the loaner phone, I received would not connect to my Blackberry ID.

The message I get is 'Blackberry Protect anti-theft is activated. Please sign in with the ID of Blackberry which served to set up this device".

I guess that means that a registered person the phone with Blackberry Protect loan and this is the ID that is required to connect. However, this makes me little use.

Is there a solution? My supplier tells me there is nothing they can do as a matter of Blackberry. They suggest to take the phone home and make security wipe again, but I have a feeling it won't.

Your suspicions are correct. This device must be:

  1. Connected to the BBID which was used last
  2. Defeat/stopcock Protect, requiring again enter these credentials BBID
  3. WIPE
  4. Associated with a different BBID as part of the initial configuration screen

Lack of this EXACT sequence, the device will not be usable by anyone. I suggest that go back you to Telus and insist that they give you a device of loan that you can actually use. No one may use the machine without these prerequisites BBID powers... simple as that.

Whoever you talked to is not well formed, I fear... is not "a question of Blackberry. On the contrary, it is the result of the compulsory anti-theft features and their failure to follow the appropriate procedures.     I have a Curve 8900 with the 4.6.1.133 (Platform 4.2.0.85).

    This unit maintains a beep every 10 seconds, I tried to remove the battery when the BB was on, wait a minute, put it again.

    I looked at all the configurations.

    NEW INFORMATION. The device stores only beep if the wireless connection with the carrier is active. If it s off the beeps stops. I m using Claro to the Brazil.

    I found the solution. This is a bug beetween the network operator's SIM card software and the BlackBerry device. It s already solved. I had to follow certain steps to enable and disable a specific feature of the network operator and wait a dialog box confirm my operation.

    The beeps comes with the dialog box, but the apears only dialog box if you are in a specific screen of the blackberry. If you are in the home screen, it will not appear and you hear the beep.

    My girlfriend has removed the Atheros driver on his NB100. I just reinstalled the driver of this forum and the wireless icon is back in the lower right. I however still unable to connect to wireless internet and am use to operate the wireframe.
    Free configuration can see the wireless network but will not connect and windows said: there is none in the range.

    Hi, I have problems connecting my laptop to the Internet. The laptop even can't detect wireless networks (despite other devices being able to do), even if it wasn't a problem beforehand. I have troubleshooted and received the message "card Intel (r) Dual Band Wireless-N 7265 problem driver - or related to the material." so I tried to search through the forums. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a solution other than to go to the Device Manager. Under "Network adapters", the Intel (r) Dual Band Wireless AC7265 reports a problem (he has a!). It indicates the status of the device is "this device cannot start. (Code 10). {Operation failed.} The requested operation failed. "Before that, I remember it to be 45 Code, something about the material being not connected.

    I think that this problem was caused yesterday when I closed my laptop - I think it was set up the device / through a kind of update when I forced stop it (the screen was black and I didn't know at the time it was the configuration) and that's when I had problems connecting to the Internet. When I went into Device Manager, it says just something on the device requiring an additional installation, but after reviewing all possible solutions on the forums, it has become a Code 10. I tried to update the driver software, but it says ' window has determined the software driver for your device is up to date ", restart the Internet modem, reboot the laptop, the laptop everything, ranging from recovery reset - all with no avail.     Here's what I recommend.

    Download the latest wlan driver Intel 7265 AC.  The 2nd driver on the left side of the page is what you want.

    Transfer the driver on your PC with a usb flash drive.  Do not run the file again.

    Go to Device Manager and right-click on the problem Intel wireless network adapter.

    Select uninstall and check the box uninstall driver.

    Restart the computer and install the latest driver, you just downloaded and see if that solves the problem.

    If the device was installed OS 10.3.2 BlackBerry Protect has been enabled, then you've basically bricked your Z3.

    You know the OLD BBID to continue.

    The last update the BB app got was 1.7.5. The current version of the mobile Connect application is 2.2. The output of 2.1 was a note that the Blackberry is platform is no longer supported (Page 2 here). This is reflected in the Connect tech specs page, which is where I got the mobile platforms supported above.     Oracle client: 11.2.0.1.0 (win64_11gR2_client)
    JDK/JRE: 1.6.0_20 64-bit (jdk-6u20-windows - x 64)
    SQL Developer: 2.1.1.64.45 (sqldeveloper64 - 2.1.1.64.45 - No. - jre)

    When I try to connect to 10.2.0.4.0 or 11.2.0.1.0 database using SQL Developer, I get the following error message:

    type of check not supported
    Code provider 17451

    I can't find anything about this error, and I don't know if mine is a supported configuration. I can connect to databases using sqlplus and jdk/jre is properly installed and configured. Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 of SQL Developer 1.5.5 worked with jdk/jre 1.6.0_17

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Maybe a problem with the thin Java driver. Try to check the preferences - database - Advanced - use OCI.

    I am connected to a Jack of cisco with signal strength excellent on a HP Pavilion DV4000 with a XP SP3 operating system.  He was working a week before a customer visit when someone does something to connect to the system of wifi for this client's Office.  Now, I am connected to my hom wifi system very well, but can not get online.  I tried ipconfig renew & release without result.  Any suggestions?

    Use the Cisco connect software that was shipped with the router. Install it on your HP and run it. Who is likely to be the best way to solve this problem.
