BlackBerry Q10 Activesync on Exchange does not suddenly

Hi all

I hope I can get help here. Since January, I use my new Q10 with ActiveSync on Exchange 2010. It worked well from the first minute.

Two days earlier, the synchronization stopped. I deleted the account and tried to create new, but I get an error meassage that my account information is not correct.

If I use "Touchdown for Exchange" on my Blackberry, the connection is fine. Also, if I connect with an Ipad, it also works.

It must be something with Activesync on the BB.

Any ideas?

Is there a change to see what is the problem for my BB (like a newspaper or journal)?

Well, he was still forbidden to use Active Sync with BB10 in our network. They have not said why.

Android is permitted only with the touchdown.

The only way to use BB now is to install Touchdown on it. But it is not available (except if you drag load it).

I need to sell my BB now and need to upgrade to iOS.

    You can certainly try, this could be a hardware problem and not software, but does not hurt to try. Use the BB link to backup everything on your phone. Once it is finished, click on settings (gear icon), then reload. Follow the on-screen steps and just leave the phone on while BB link reloads the operating system. Once complete, your phone will be 'all new' If no settings or information that you had before are here. Fortunately, you have made a backup before! Go to settings, and then restore the data and then follow the steps to find your backup and it reloads everything!

  • BlackBerry Q10 ActiveSync does not synchronize my Contacts after changing to another Exchange Server

    I changed to another supplier of services of Exchange and now the problems with my Contacts on the Blackberry Q10. After the configuration of the new Exchange ActiveSync account, I observe the folliwng:

    1. New contacts created in Outlook / Exchange Server will not synchronize to the Q10.
    2. New contacts created on the Blackberry are synchronized backed the Exchange Server / Outlook Client.
    3. BlackBerry-Contacts are visible, but won't open (like "zombies").
    4. BlackBerry Contacts from other sources (Facebook, WhatsApp) are no longer bound together, in other words, it seems that the person has multiple contacts entries.
    5. Sending / receiving mails and work on the Blackberry calendar entries.

    I fixed it myself. Now, the Contacts are all back in, deduplicated and healthy. That's what I did, step by step, in settings > accounts:
    1 turn off Sync contact on the Exchange ActiveSync account
    2 delete the Facebook account
    3 remove account Skype and gmail
    4. run "Delete local Contacts"
    5. in Contacts, check the number of Contacts: contact no.
    Then in settings > accounts:
    6. turn on synchronization of Contact for an Exchange account
    7. This brought all Exchange contacts
    8. Add Facebook, Skype and a gmail accounts.

  • BlackBerry 10 Q10 Message text box does not scroll past two lines

    When you type a message in the message text box, the text does not scroll to the 3rd entry line until the line is completed. I find myself typing blind to line 3 of my message until the line 3 is full... then it scrolls to the top and becomes visible in the message text box. Any suggestions?

    Had the same problem.  You must have changed the font size of your device to a point 10 or above fonts.  If you set it to original font size which is 8, it works perfectly again.  IHAVE that mine now set at 9 and it the text field scrolls correctly now.  It must be a bug in Blackberry software so if you read these messages please fix it as I'd rather watch 10-point font.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones camera works does not suddenly

    Hi all

    I tried to take a picture yesterday to find that when I select the camera on my phone, I have just a white screen and the camera icon is gray shaded and cannot be hired?

    I always get the flash and geo tagging icon / scene mode icons and I am able to use them simply not capture icon.

    I had a range of different messages arrived saying that another application is using the camera etc and when I select video camera I get the message "the camera is use by another application, cannot start the video camera viewfinder."

    I ran the self test (which was a bit pointless) and he has just confirmed that the camera was not working.

    I tried to pull the battery with the phone on, but that does not solve anything.

    At my phone plugged on charge last night and when I woke up this morning and turned on I checked the camera again and it seems to work!

    I could take a picture and then I just got the blank screen again and were not able to make it work again since.

    I have not recently added all the apps or made any changes to the phone and it seems to have happened completely at random, as I did nothing extraordinary.

    I would really like to solve this problem without having to delete and re install the OS if possible but its is not in good shape.

    Thanks for the tips, but for some reason any 9th / 10th (I lost count) battery pull I've done seems to have done the trick.
    Left the battery for an hour and the camera has been authorized since!

    Can you please clarify what you mean by rebooting to hot, double soft reset and hard reset?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones new mail icon does not

    I have a strange behavior suddenly with one of the e-mail on my Blackberry "BOLD" accounts.  The account is a gmail account and never had any problems until today.  I noticed this morning that e-mail has not been pushed, despite the fact that new messages were in this mailbox.  I removed and re-added the account, as well as return service directories.  Now, mail seems to take place at the account again, but the new mail indicator (red asterisk) does not work for the account, even if I get a new mail on the main 'Messages' envelope icon indicator when the mail comes in this account.  Any ideas?  Thank you!

  • BlackBerry Z30 Z30 autofocus camera does not

    Hi people,

    I use a Z30 for the past 2 years, and in general I have no major problems with it.

    Lately, I realized that the photos taken by two cameras built in (front and rear) are prety bad quality. I tried to change the camera settings, but nothing works. What I realized is that autofocus does simply not. The image is not sharp, particularly if you take close ups but even in a landscape image, you can check the academics is not good. Another example trying to take a picture of a written or printed book and as a result, you can read even more large font (like arial 16). This very annoing and seriosly obstructs all-purpose potetial for this kind of device.

    I referred to the manual / subject hepl, but no answer for this one.

    In a net shearch, I have seen several users complain (also in devices priv and passport), but no good answers for these people.

    I use the latest version of the OS (10.3.2.2876)

    No accidents or damages occur to the device

    I referred to the BB Expert virtual app and it returnes to Pentecost "possible camera issues.

    You did wrong... we're the "software version" while the other is the real version of the OS. So, are you running OS 10.3.2.2876 / SR 10.3.2.2836. Reference:

    I recently purchased the BlackBerry Z3.

    It supports no sound & vibrate at the same time.

    In Normal mode, I activated sound and vibration, but it only gives sound for incoming calls/messages.

    (does not vibrate)

    In vibration Mode, it only vibrates.

    It's the first time I use a Blackberry and I'm upset with the basic functionality works do not.

    Could you try to remove the app OneDrive of your device and then restart the passport and reinstall it from App World?

    1. Tap and hold the app icon for 3 seconds until what it vibrates, tap the trash icon.
