  I just got a new Z10 and had all configured to discover that my primary e-mail service, Gmail, does not work if the only internet access is through the Blackberry Internet Service (BIS).

  When I configured first, I got Wi - Fi active (other than BIS, I don't have a data plan as my main focus is email). As it was my 3 services e-mail (Gmail, Hotmail and my prived ISP service) all the connected without problem. It was only after I turned off WiFi that I discovered that while my other two services work fine, my Gmail account has become "not connected".

  I tried everything I could think of, including delete my Gmail account, do a reboot cold and then try setting up the account to new as well as doing a reset complete, I could start over again. All to nothing does not. Only if the WiFi is on what can I cannect to Gmail and that doesn't help me if I don't have a Wi - Fi service.

  Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I might try?

  You may be right about Gmail not supporting ActiveSync, but on the device the Z10 was supposed to replace (Torch 9860 running os 7.1.0) no problem with Gmail and BIS, so there must be something unique about BB10 on the Z10.

  BIS is not used on BB10. BB10 access directly servers of e-mail now.

  Have you tried to configure gmail so that the signal from the carrier and not on wifi?

  I have two problems with my new laptop (L50D-B - 17 K). I installed Windows 7 64 bit:

  1 - USB 3.0 ports (right) does not work after the installation of the USB driver available in the Web of Support from Toshiba site.
  An unknown device appears in Device Manager: "other devices - Bus USB controllers.

  Where is the valid driver for USB 2.0 ports?

  -Runs normally - USB 2.0 (left side)

  2. I can't adjust brightness of the display using fn + F2/F3.

  When I press fn + [f2 f3] setting icon appears at the top of the screen but the brightness does not (not more not less), always the same brightness.

  Also, I installed display and keyboard drivers support Web site available at Toshiba.

  The USB 3.0 AMD driver is necessary and required to get the USB 3.0 ports to work.
  The driver can be found on the page of the Toshiba UE driver (I assume that you have installed this driver):

  

  To get USB 2.0 ports work, you must install the AMD chipset driver (... it's part of the package of display driver)

  Regarding the brightness function key:
  You must install the VAP (value added package) in order to use the FN keys.
  Of course, the display driver must be installed too (as suggested above)

  Hi all!! I have a blackberry Q5, the version of the 10.2.1.2102 software... It is the best blackberry smartphone I've ever had! but since one week, I have a very big problem with my BB Q5: if I want to surf the internet, with data from my phone (not in WIFI mode but with the data of the phone (4G, 3 g +)), I can not go on any website, but the only thing I watch is a white screen with this message "ERROR HTTP 403.6 ": the IP address of the client has been rejected"...! Just to say that finally, after several attempts, I have solved my problem: there was a problem with my service provider SFR with my phone! I regret bringing this up on the forum, but when you call the customer service you think they know their work... but fortunately for us if we have the blackberry is because we are not so ignorant on the connections, network and telephone line! : D have a nice day blackberry users!

  1. so I just follow the instructions on the Microsoft page at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215 on how to fix the error "the user profile service has no logon. I executer run in Safe Mode, follow the instructions in method 1, reboot and it worked again. After that things return to normal, I open the directory in the registry editor to see if anything changes. And Yes, because when I start Safe Mode and open the registry editor, I don't see that a file ends with .bak, however there are two. Is this a problem?

• Two problems with a single ESW-540-24

  We sold an ESW 540 switch a customer to 3COM, which replaces the old equipment. This replacement will be on different faces, then connect some switches 3COM to Cisco equipment. We install rigth now and this two situations:

  • Machines virtual can´t obtain IP through DHCP addresses (using a different MAC address) when it is connected to the Cisco switch. Physical machines receive the IP addresses of the DHCP server without problem. This situation happened with 3COM switches.
  • When we interconect switch Cisco switches 3COM (do not use the uplink ports) the connection never goes up. Remembering that the 3COM switches are old we sets the speed to 100 Mbps Full Duplex, but it did not work.

  It is possible that the two problems may be related by the same question. The ESW 500 series uses a wizard smartport. If you want to test this, open a session in the ESW and under the home page, access the smartport Wizard and change the port to 'other '.

• Two problems with Lightroom 6

  Nice day!

  Let me describe two problems that I faced with Lr6.

  Upon his return on a former brush adjustment, 'indicator' (i.e. the small circle that indicates where the brush was originally placed...) is no longer in effect.

  Second, after dealing a photograph with Silver Efex Pro 2 and trying to refine in Lr6, the image starts "flashing" (i.e. disappear and is immediately loaded again...) and the new setting is not retained.

I checked with firebug and columns I have untick are definitely on 'n', but I can't get javascript code to recognize this value. Even if I take the "ElseIf" code and just change the first part to (pThis.value ==' no) still does not work. There seems to be something with the value "n" recognize themselves do not, but I can not understand.
  
  Question 2: on the second tab - tab report 2. The same report but this time, I use a javascript character counter similar to that described in the sample application of the Dene (page 276 > http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=31517:276:19207673535900:NO). The counter of characters on the Ename field include javascript and an expression of HTML on the Ename column. The counter works fine, but now, the javascript code to make the column readonly work over all.

  • Please please understand what HTML is generated and how to inspect. Once you do this, you can easily eliminate many problems with selectors not seeming to work. A text box is not an input for example element.
    
  • Boxes rely on the checked, not the value property. Apex circumvents this by creating a hidden extra element which will get the value based on the checked property of the visible checkbox
    
  • Do not use these horrible onchange and onclick attributes :( Use a dynamic action or jQuery to bind events.
    
  • Do not apply a style via javascript. Use CSS for this drive as with jQuery, you can easily add, remove, or toggle the classes too. And if you know jQuery selectors, you can understand css selectors because they are substantially the same.
    
  • I don't know why people insist on using rowIndex or substringing ID. I find it unnecessary and more complex that the alternative (crosses with jQuery)
    
  • The difficulty also in things into action through pagination. Running on just the visible page it of a trifle, but through paging requires more work than just check "fire on loading the page" is not enough. I'm sure you'd want your ENAME either red or gray column and readonly as soon as the page is loaded, and not when you start typing in the box...

  Today, I've suffered two problems, earlier, that the computer refused to wake... I have posted before I have an Equium M40X and so I have no restart button. His arrival on a desk where the computer would not come out of sleep... so I had to pick it up, then remove the battery... While power is still.

  The usual way of "forcing" a notebook of power off is to hold down the power button for 5 seconds. This causes the system to power down and then you can just turn it on normally.

  I have 3 problems with my BB jump; for 1 of it, I write here a solution.

  When I get on the maps of BB (installed by default) with location and a Wi - Fi enabled connection, my position still show that I'm somewhere in Basel (Switzerland), even though I live in other countries European. I tried the settings, and I can't find anywhere any preset location. Is it not strange that the GPS is not able to find my REAL position? Please let me know what I can do to be legitimate spotted.

  1. the sound of the keyboard cannot be completely reduced, even if the sound is at a minimum.

• BlackBerry App serious problems with the new facebook app!

  Yesterday, I downloaded the latest app facebook to my Q10, because I was excited to be able to choose the setting for the news feed. I ALWAYS want the most recent messages on top of my news feed!

  However, the new application is the TOTAL OPPOSITE of the timeline (not only mine, but also my friend timeline). I just want my most recent messages on top (just like the desktop version of facebook).  However, as I look at my calendar on my Q10, I see a post from 3 days ago (an eternity in the smartphone era) on top of my calendar. The new facebook application, I cannot change that.

  I noticed the same problem when you look at the chronology of the friend. I see 12 - day old post at the top of the timeline of a friend who adds new posts per DAY!

  This glitch is completely unacceptable. This glitch made the laughingstock of BlackBerry! Apple and Samsung are celebrating this glitch affecting BlackBerry users.

  Look, I love the QWERTY keyboard, but this should not be an excuse for neglecting the customers like me who want the best service of our applications.

  This problem has been fixed and a new version is available in beta Zone.

• BlackBerry Smartphones 2 problems with my flashlight. (Photos)

  OK, so I've tried everything to try and solve my problems but have not been able to do. I hope that someone here might be able to help!

  First of all, I have accidentally hidden a picture by checking the "hide" field Now how do get it back you? I had a couple of my friends with the same phone try and figure that out it and they were not able. Anyone know?

  Second, when I choose a picture to my desktop wallpaper, it shows in a larger version in the upper left corner of the image. I me remember when I was picked as my background wallpaper, the image I have zoomed in on it before asking, but used the 'back' button to remove the zoom feature. It looks ok on the screen but define it the paper painted like the zoomed image in. Now, it doesn't matter what image I chose, I get in the top left corner, zoom appears on my paper painted - although it seemed normal before asking.

  I am frustrated trying to understand these two themes out, so any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

  Go to the preferences of the home screen and click Reset bottom. Then select another image, the problem returns?

  I'm guessing that you mean that you are the only emergency service. I would have again assumed SIM card problem before the problem of the OS.

  Have you tried another SIM card in your BlackBerry and tried your SIM in another phone?
