BlackBerry signing authority tool

I'm not able to comment on potential plans of novel products.

But I do not recommend asking for it in the forum that is controlled by our product management team:

    Hello

I try to configure the signing authority tool.

I entered in remote Client Administration, CSI file by e-mail to: my email address.

So, I have to configure SMTP username & password in some places. But I tried to find, but I can't.

The administration of BlackBerry signature tool does not support SMTP authentication.  If it's something you need I recommend logging a feature request in the incident handler: https://www.blackberry.com/jira/secure/Dashboard.jspa

  • Signing authority of blackBerry on 64-bit Windows 7?

I am migrating from a computer in Windows Vista 32-bit to a more recent machine of Windows7 64 bit. I can't get the BlackBerry signing service to start on the new machine. When it works on my old computer behaves like this:

    1. In "services", I right click on signing authority and select Properties. In the log on tab page, I confirm that "Allow service to interact with desktop" is checked.
    2. In 'services', I then right-click on signing authority and select start. A progressbar is displayed.
    3. In the Windows task bar, a new task starts flashing
    4. I click on the new task and Windows switch to some sort of compatibility mode where can I enter name of user and password. Then I'll be back on the normal desktop and the service is started.

On my new machine I can't get past (2), the just start operation times out.

Is 64 bit of Windows 7 supported?

How the BlackBerry (websigner.exe) signing authority to start on Windows 7 64 bit?

    Thanks for your help.

Apparently the "Interactive services Detection" service is not auto-start on 64-bit Windows in the way it was on 32-bit Windows. Once this service is started, signing authority can be started.

  • The bar is not signed AUTHOR

    Hello

I'm manually signing my 10.1 SDK bar file built using the following which returns "Bar signed" by pressing.

However when I try and publish it for Blackberry world, I get the following error on upload.

    "Bar is not signed AUTHOR."

    Thank you

    Hi Mark,

Sorry, that was my mistake, I forgot to remove the option RDK the second bat file that I had created for provider 'B' now that I have it removed I am not getting any error...

  • BlackBerry-sign gives me "error in opening zip file".

We have BB 10 Native application that has some setting we want to customize for each customer. Example of database server, etc. User\Pass. The settings are stored in the QML file so it can be read by the App while running.

In order to allow customization based on demand, we decided to create the ussigned of the bar of the package version using blackberry-nativepackager.  Bar file is Zip file, when these details provided by the customer, we simply decompress .bar file, the zip again and QML file using a utility such as 7 Zip.

But after that when I tried to sign the new file .bar using blackberry - sign it gives me "error in opening zip file". File has permission and it is not corrupt. I don't know why blackberry-signatory dislikes the new bar file. Is native Packer doesn't something extra then creation of zip file to make it work with blackberry signer?

I believe that this solution I was looking for.

Sorry to be so n00bish please help me!

    Hey,.

Since you did not even registration to the registry, you can do this through Flash Builder. Save the .csj file, you have received by e-mail somewhere, and then follow the steps detailed here:

    http://docs.BlackBerry.com/en/developers/deliverables/23959/Configure_app_signing_FB401_1473166_11.j...

After you do the stuff cert developer, you can probably ignore the part on the proxy stuff and continue to the next part.

I read somewhere on the forum that is signed apps get reviewed more quickly in writing MShom (from what I remember). We still do not know wat the deal with the approval time is but signature cant hurt our chances right? haha

I don't see the error that you notice.

The documentation notes that this form of blackberry-signer syntax is available only on recent versions of th emost of this command. I ran these commands on the current beta version 10.2 public but it should work with 10.1.

  • Add object attributes to a DisplayObject that is created in the authoring tool

Hello, how can I add attributes to a display object, I created in the authoring tool, so that I can access by:

    myDisplayObjectInstance.myNewAttribute

Is a DisplayObejct a dynamic class, which can be extended to anywhere?

    Thank you very much

If you convert a MovieClip, it is dynamic... For example, if you draw a shape, select, press F8 and convert it into a MovieClip. Then give it an instance name of test...

    You can then do: test.someVar = someValue;

  • Signature without using Code code signing authority of signatory to basic password file

I'm trying to restrict access to a store of PersistentObject using code signing. I created the public/private key pair and I also have my. KEY file. When I do following step it work very well:

    • Sign your application using your code signing key standard issued by Research In Motion.
    • Sign that these signed .cod files with the application file signatory in the administration of BlackBerry signature tool.

But I want to design a signature tool automated using ant tasks.  I am unable to find corresponding Ant task to call the file signing tool.

Anyone know how to get the code signing to work without using the JDE?

    Thanks in advance

you need a server to use this signature signature. AFAIK, you sign your apps as before, just with your own signature added server.
