BlackBerry smartphone how to recover Yahoo Mail icon?

Anyone know how I can get the Yahoo Mail icon or app on my Storm? I had to reload the OS and now he's gone. Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

On the storm, go to your e-mail settings, remove the account and then re-create it, and then send the service directories.

Thank you

It's now how it works. each message that arrives in the Inbox on your yahoo account will thus come to BB. Now you can put filters on yahoo sp spam does not affect your Inbox and you can also put filters on the side of BB.

-also, you can turn off the data service on the device, but when you turn it back on all messages that have been held off the coast, because out of data will come to BB.

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot-~ 5 minutes...
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

There are several methods (which, BTW, no I believe to be useful to your situation):

N ° of BB devices lack a complete email client on them. Instead, they depend on the BIS service to provide messaging functionality. BIS is active when you have also listed Internet/personal email where you currently see only Enterprise. All services of BIS, are sent to the device via data carrier network... contact them are therefore the right approach to discover why their network is no longer to deliver to you the services that you pay for.

If you use Blackberry Priv, you can try some android data recovery app, which you can find similar applications on Play store and google. I am currently using it, which has helped me recover deleted contacts and text messages. You can have a try: http://www.androidphonesoft.com/resources/recover-lost-contacts-from-android-phone.html

  • BlackBerry smartphones, how to restore the lock icon

While trying to move icons the my BB 8830 I accidentally deleted the lock of the device icon.  Can someone tell me how I can restore this icon?

It is unlikely that you deleted, possible, but probably just hidden or moved into a folder.

    1. on your home screen, press Menu > SHOW ALL, so that ALL DISPLAY is checked.
    2. look in EVERY folder on your device... Applications, instant messaging, downloads, and
If you don't see it still, look at the Options > advanced > Applications. Do you not see it listed there?

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to stop wi - fi icon, and remember, it does not work

I just got my Bold 9900.  I had set up the wi - fi for when I'm at home, for home networking.  But then I heard that takes a lot of battery power, and that I should make sure he seeks not when I'm not home.  So I disabled the connection of wi - fi.  The icon remained well on my home screen.  I went back and deleted the connection.  The wi - fi icon is still there.

It just means that it might work for wi - fi, if I decide to search and connect?  I wonder, because until my battery seems to be declining fast enough.

    Is it gray, or what?

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Now, go back to your connection management screen and confirm that your WiFi is indeed off, unchecked.
