  Hello! When I installed my BB Desktop Manager and connect for the first time in my Bold 9700, he asked if I'd like to update various features on my phone, to which I agreed.   JL_CMDR works fine in Win7. Don't launch from the file Explorer. Instead, open a command box (start > run > CMD). Then browse (just like in the BACK) where it is and run it from the command line.

  My BBM messenger was working fine up to Tuesday, then all of a sudden, I didn't notice that 2 friends were able to ping, yesterday a friend called me and he was scathing of the Wednesday and I didn't answer and everyone elses BB works very well for them.

  If you want to remove the application go to menu, options, advanced options, applications and remove from there

  But same app is not installed in 9000 "BOLD" which has OS 4.6 why?

  If I build which in BB JDE 4.6 it install or not?

  I had my 8320 for 5 months now... everything was fine until today.  I got a white screen with a hourglass... so I removed the battery and put it again after 30 seconds.  Then 'bam' nothing... no screen at all... just a flashing red light.  I came home and plugged in the charger, thinking that would solve it. Maybe the battery was dead, but he charged for six hours and then I got a green light, but no screen.  Help!

  If you have only had the phone for 5 months, you should be able to take back and get a new phone.

  I hope you made a backup and you can restore your data. If you are unable to return it, you will need to reload the operating system of the device.

  In my opinion if it can you should resume.

  The flashing lights are no doubt an error message from the printer for you.  See the manual supplied with the printer or the web site of the manufacturer of the printer - model support and the type of lights flashing almost certainly have a specific meaning which will clear once you know what it means.

I go to AT & T to set up and it went very well, I come home with the new phone and connect it to synchronize my data. He said all of a sudden (update failed), which confused me because I'm trying to update whatever it is and now it won't start or work or anything. It goes to show a flashing red LED. I can't appear in the Desktop Manager, I can get it to reinstall with the application loader. I just went back to AT & T and as usual that they told me they couldn't help me.

  I'm really really REALLY aggravated at this time, and I could desperately use someone's help. How can I reinstall the operating system if I can't answer?

  The software seems to be corrupted.

  Make sure you have the latest version of the software for your device and your carrier installed on the computer.

  From your home screen, click on the speaker icon in the upper left corner, under the date.  In the pop-up window, select change sounds and alerts.  Click on sounds for the selected profile.  Click on Messages - authors of notifications.  Click on your e-mail and Visual alerts (LED), change to off.  Press menu, and select Save.

  Go to your screen/keyboard settings and turn off the light cover.

  You didn't say what model "BOLD", you have, but if OS5 model > Options > keyboard/screen

  If a device OS6 > Options > device > screen/keyboard settings.

  "will not blink" suggests to me that you want the LED indicator flashes red to the arrival of a new email, not the notification of homescreen which is controlled by the option 'display a new Message '.

  In your profile, scroll down to advanced > highlight your active profile > Menu > change and set the 'messages' or specific e-mail messages to have the notification LED.

  With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  1) register HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

  2) books of forwarding Service

  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

  3) restart

  • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
  • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  If you stay at 9320 curve then more easiset way to do this is an Assistant to switch device using Desktop software.

  Or if you want to perform a selective restore to your new 9320 then first do a full backup of your old 9700 using desktop software. Once you have your backup connect your 9320 and run the software, select the device from software > restore > data choose selected since your last backup you did > scroll down the list and select only the password keeper and memo key data in this list, then click on apply.
