BlackBerry Smartphones all my buttons do not respond!

For some reason any all the buttons on my 9720 have stopped responding except the power button. Any ideas on what could be the problem? It's only a week...

Is there a way to do a system restore to factory settings?

Thank you

Josh

Instead of factory reset try to reload the software of your device.

NOTE: back up your device first.

1. go on google on the field type in (blackberry software update (the name of your operator))

2. download the software for the device

3. install on your computer.

4. Once installed plug in your device to the computer (without the battery)

5. go to computer / driver C / program files (x 86) / Common files / research in motion / application loader / LOADER

6. click on LOADER and follow the prompt.

7. it will take time to recognize your PIN or your device. Just continue clicking NEXT until it pass.

8. after that it will inspire you by selecting your language, then a page with "finish or close" is displayed just click on one of them for the process to move forward.

9. a loading bar will appear. When you receive an error message that says something like "cannot detect the device.

It's time for step 10.

10 replace the battery
and click on 'Retry '.

11. it will take time, but continue to retry until that proceed it process.

12. once the upload is complete, you can either receive "" is an unrecoverable error occurred, or software update success ""

don't worry about the unrecoverable error, he says that but your device must be start the system.

If the charging software will not solve the problem then its hardware.

    Hello and welcome!

Have you tried a hard reboot battery-pop? With power ON, pop in the battery. Wait a minute, then reinsert the battery and replace the cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long long long restart the process (as long as 10 minutes). See if it clears. Like all computing devices, a restart may be a healthy thing.

OK, so I guess the red text that says "Adobe modules now live!" should read "Modules of Adobe now AVAILABLE ONLY online!"...

What buttons? You can restore a classic iPod via iTunes without using the buttons on the device. Restore it will not fix hardware problems.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB app world does not appear on new Torch 9850.

Blackberry app world is not installed on my new torch. I tried to go to the website of bb to download, but I can't find anything on how to download app world. I already tried a reload of the operating system. Help, please.

If you have a hardware problem, then nothing what to do with the software or operating system will not help. But, at a distance of the internet, there is no way to really diagnose a hardware problem... rather, only to guide you to things to try which will govern the other causes, leaving only hardware like your the most likely cause. See how news of the device is for you, you can not cope and return instead of your place of purchase for formal support and (hopefully) replacement.

But, if you want to try, then I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

But if the behavior continues mode without failure, you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup of your PC... Please see the Backup link in my sig auto on this post for instructions.

You may also use these tips:

If you want to try at the OS level, then the easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

You can also study the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe what he is capable.

You can also try the "skeleton OS Reload procedure" in an attempt to circumscribe the precise causal element:

    1. Load your OS "bare bones"... If everything is optional, do not install it.
    2. If the behavior is immediately, then try another OS with step 1
    3. If the behavior does not immediately, then run for as long as necessary to make you to be sure that the behavior will not occur.
    4. Add one more thing - no matter how tempting, one.
    5. If the behavior does not immediately present, and then runs for long enough to be sure he won't have the same problem
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are responsible or the behavior presents

When the behavior shows up, you know the culprit... the last thing you have loaded.

If the behavior doesn't re-present, then you know that step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior has anything, then you have probably a problem of material level for which no amount of OS or software can heal.

You may also use these tips:

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

    Hello!

With a network carrier signal strong, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... ( Please wait for this before moving on to the next step) :

    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Hotmail w/BIS is not sync when using Windows Live Messenger

    Hello

I've got BES both BIS working in my BlackBerry. BES has the email that I use at work. BIS has configured my Hotmail account. Both work fine, but when I tried to use Windows Live Messenger in my BlackBerry I realized that the emails of Hotmail stopped coming.

So far, that's what I got:

If I connect to Windows Live Messenger from my BlackBerry, from a Windows computer, or within Hotmail (inside the web browser) I no longer receive mail. Everything I do from my BlackBerry still affects my Hotmail account (mark an e-mail as read, delete or sending an e-mail using my Hotmail account).

When I sign out of Windows Live Messenger and you receive another email, all delays and the new email come to my BlackBerry and guard mail very well until I connect to Windows Live Messenger again. I do not receive the emails delayed until I get a new once the connection from Windows Live Messenger.

Already tried battery pull, remove and re-add the account of Hotmail in BIS and uninstall and reinstallation of Windows Live Messenger.

Please, I know already all the love that some people have on other services of e-mail webmail (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.), which helps not at all.

I searched the web and I have nothing, I hope someone can help me.

    Thanks in advance.

Options - such as the icon homescreen options? Indeed, it would be not good. Suggest the following:

Whenever random strange behaviors creep, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. • HP7280 all-in-one is not responding

MY PRINTER IS NOT RESPONDING AFTER PRINTING 2 PAGES. ALWAYS to POSTER (PRINT NOW) I TRIED to not CANCEL BUT NO RESPONSE, TRIED TO TURN OFF WITH POWER BUTTON / STOP STILL NO RESPONSE. I AM RUNNING WINDOWS VISTA, THE PRINTER CONNECTION IS WIRELESS AND PLUGGED INTO A SURGE PROTECTOR. THE ONLY WAY I CAN GET IT BACK IS TO UNPLUG FROM THE WALL. SOMEONE HAS ANY IDEAS?

Try to plug directly into a wall outlet, remove the surge (if you pack it was plugged in one)

If it works then it's a question of power. If still no market, trying to plug an ethernet cable to the back of the printer and connect the other end to the router and disable the wireless button. If it works, well and good. If it still keeps freezing then you will need to have the verified material. Disconnect the network completely and check if use it as a copier displays the same symptoms. If so, it's a hardware problem, if it is not, then it might be some services that are running on the computer where it. And if it works fine with the ethernet connection and you must use the wireless configuration, check if there are updates to the firmware of your router.

  • My computer from the Start button does not respond

Original title: my computer from the Start button is (no response), it shows nothing... no ductwork is.

I am running Vista and when I go into my computer from the Start button it says (not responding) and does not show its readers just a big blank page. I do not have a shortcut on the desktop. He's NEVER done this before. I had internet Explorer (not answer) before but never my 'computer '! What would cause this?

    Hello

    1. Since when you are facing this problem?
    2. don't you make changes before the show?
3 is the other shortcuts in button start doesn't work very well?
    4. have you run a virus scan?

    5. what happens when you type explorer.exe in the start search box and press enter?
    6. are you able to open that way?

    Method 1:
You can perform a System File Checker on your computer and check if it works.

Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file.  You can check the link:

Note: after a repair, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.
