  • BlackBerry smartphones save free Applications

    Greetings,

I could spend the phones in the future, but I still want to be able to use free gifts for the AppWorld. Is it possible to download onto my computer first, so that if I get another phone, I could move it to my new phone?

    Thank you

    Shane.

Once you have downloaded an app from AppWorld, there will be a track on your MyWorld.  If you have the app downloaded as a free gift, it is always stored in MyWorld.  When you change phones, connect to AppWorld, go to MyWorld, refresh the list of apps and it will appear here, if it was free or paying for.  You can then recharge to your new phone for free.

    I hope that helps you.

  • BlackBerry smartphones HELP! -Application error 606

I'm relatively new to the whole community of smartphone, and I fear I actually broke my Blackberry!

I noticed that e softwareupdated was available for my Blackberry, so I chose to download it. The problem is my phone kept freezing in the process, and I was getting a little impatient. Finally, my phone told me that there was not enough memory, so I should delete some applications to make room. So I selected a few to remove, and my phone froze AGAIN. Now, if at all, it has frozen or not, I'm not sure... Maybe I'm too impatient for the life of a smartphone.

In any case, I decided to take out the battery to reset the phone, I have grown really tired and has to work in the morning, I so wanted to just turn my phone and turn it on again, put my wake up and go to sleep. As I just re - turn the phone on, it starts to load up as it usually does, then a screen appears:

    "Blackberry 5.0.0.496 platform.

Then it lists a whole bunch of items in the phone, in alphabetical order, the first being "Addressbook."

Then, in seconds, the screen goes all white and a small message will appear "Error App 606" and it gives me the only option of resetting my phone. I click on reset, and it's a cycle... The phone seems to be loading as it normally would, and then he'll come back to this screen of the Blackberry platform, then the App error 606.

I ring my network provider in the morning to see if they can help me, but I was wondering if anyone of you here would know about this at all? I feel so stupid for the cause!

I bought the Blackberry Torch 9800 in my company. The Facebook application is blocked, a message as follows:

"This application have been blocked by your administrator of business system. Contact your system administrator for more information."

You would be able to help me unlocked so that I can used the Facebook via wifi.

Hello and welcome to the community!

If your BB is still enabled on your business system, you must talk to your BES admins... they apply this block through BES IT policy.

If you want to say that you are separate from your company and no longer use their services, then their BES admins does not correctly clean your device when they gave it to you. In this case, you need this:

You must of course a full backup first, the instructions for which you can find in my auto-sig on this post. But when you restore, make sure you DON'T make a full restore... just do a selective restore of the databases you need (e.g., contacts, calendar, etc.), especially avoiding any database that have nothing to with politics COMPUTER, company, etc.. If you do not restore those, you find yourself right back where you are now, because who will dutifully restore politics to the TI back to your BB.

  • BlackBerry smartphones need an application of alarm multi with full support for bb!

Please help with suggestions. my needs are: alarm multi, would be nice if support full bb was built, i.e. phone turning on to notify you and full profile support so that when I have on vibe or the tranquility, the alarm not something ive got description to do. you mind ive already watched all of which are on the app world.

Here also an application that makes vibe AND ring at the same time which is integrated in the profiles also that only adds the option in the drop-down list of the sound profiles too... don't want to do too many things running in the background...

whatever it is out there for me?

As incredible as it may seem, there is nothing like this for your blackberry.  Worse, it's the best alarm program, "myalarm", who was free on top of that, no longer works with the latest OS updates.  You must use the beep and the tone is very low.  I liked MyAlarm until I improved on my 8310 and it wouldn't work.  There are now a couple.  I found the following two.  One is $15 and the other is $ 6

BBSmart Alarm Pro - $15 - fancier than others for sure and even less an out there that is $ 30 that looks like it does less.

    http://www.BlackBerrySmart.com/alarmspro.php

Either's Adorno Multi alarm pro-life very basic, look, but the thing is that $ 6, maintains up to 6 alarms, can take days of the week, etc.  Pretty well rounded.  It's a bit like MyAlarm for $6, but I did find that you can choose your own melody in the demo version, I downloaded.

    http://adornoapp.com/descript.php?ID=7

There is another $30 one out there but I don't think twice before spending that kind of money on an alarm for a cell phone.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones KB24874 ' completed Application: MPTT refused approval for communication cross-application. "is displayed on the BlackBerry smartphone

1st, I started having issues, try to connect to my voicemail with T - Mob. I called them, they had to re - setup my voicemail and (update of the settings for my Blackberry to connect properly saying this would happen over a period of 4 hours). They got my answering machine until tonight here. Later this week I get a notification there are applications that have are updates available, so I go to the app world. Things a then from bad to worse - apps I tried to update, new to download and try checking 'My World', I started having the (40760 out of line device) and another code error telling me to connect? >

Do a battery pull and when the phone back up I get error message "completed Application: MPTT was denied permission to cross-application communication.'"

My phone is an unlocked Tour 9630 from Verizon, and I have a monthly plan with TMobile, including the data packet.

Lookiong after this error code (KB24874) it leads me to believe that there is some kind of conflict with the "push to talk" Service Verizon which is not supported by T-Mobile. This problem started when I called T-Mobile to the difficulty of voicemail and they have really no incentive to help me because I have an unlocked phone that they do not initially sell for me...

It is a basic app and I can't remove it... Can I disable or restrict its permissions to stop this conflict? Is there anything I can do wireless or a parameter to change since I don't have a computer at home - only at work?

And he says I have to contact Blackberry technical support for help on this... Try to find a way to contact the Blackberry Support basically sent you here on the forums...

Oh wise and powerful Blackberry Guru and Experts here - can someone help me?

YAY! I fixed it! I got tothinking on these permissions and I went back to them and reset them to "refuse" to "default" (who put them to 'allow') and attempted to access app world and it worked - everything worked!

MPTT is the name of the libraries in the application 'push to talk' and I guess it still needs to set to 'allow' in same permissions if the app is not supported by TMobile.

Thanks for the forums. Even if no one responded, have a place as it has helped me to analyze my own of all the posts that I have sought.

Hope this helps someone if they have the same problems a day

  • Eception Exception blackBerry Smartphones: registry of applications wait to time-out Error Messages - BB 8703e

OK, I hope someone here can help me a bit more then US Cellular has done so far to this problem without end.

This problem started after I updated my BB device software and application of book of face over the weekend.  Since that time my BB will not receive any what data signal, but I can make phone calls always after confirmation of many Eception Exception: Registry Application wait Timeout Error Messages. Until they start again to come.

Here are the steps that I tried to fix this problem

    • Remove the battery, and then restart your computer
    • Load up the Blackberry Manager to restore the setting - BB Manager seems to not even see more when I connect it.
    • U.S. Cellular has already tried reloading software BB device again

Has anyone ever fallen on this or a similar problem like this and found a solution to this?

If Yes please let me know.  I don't want to end up carrying around some basic cell phones again.  I'm already addicted to my crackberry.

    TIA

I fixed the problem of trial and error, a few hours ago.

For starters, US Cellular had to lie for wipe me the disc of BB and starting over.  because if they did I would not see all the error messages still after they claimed that the BB has been wiped.  In other words, after I wiped the drive of BB all the error messages disappeared.

Regarding the data plan, yes my company has a data plan on this BB.  The blinking light just does more.  Not much for me, as long as the data coming

  • BlackBerry smartphones another little question from a novice on windows authentication

Hi, I posted a question a few weeks ago, to summarize, I recently dumped my treo for the new storm.  I enjoy them until now, but I have a question to get connected to a windows site.

I use logmein for mobile access, (www.logmein.com), it's like gotomypc, but free and I used to be able to log in with my treo smartphone, but I'm having a problem on my BB.  I spend all the stuff (on the site of logmein) html Web page and get to the point where I have to put the password for the computer that I'm remote'ing.  The phone's browser has "Windows authentication" in the upper part, followed by three text fields, username, PW and domain.  I don't have a domain, but when I entered the username and password, I can't select the "login" link just in the middle of the page at the bottom. "

I tried everything, he can't know.  Also, on this screen, zoom and other "typical" controls are not available, as the keyboard and a few other navigation options (none is "next" or "enter")...  Oh, and another thing, when I click on the screen where the "login" link is, it locks the keyboard back to the top and sometimes wipes all the text on the fields?...

    Thanks in advance...

Thanks for the help, it turns out looking as if it was a problem on the side of the House Logmein.com...

  • BlackBerry smartphones cannot download applications.

    BBrs Hello!

I'm having trouble downloading the applications for a specific handset.

    Carrier: Orange UK

    Model: 9700

    OS: 5.0.0.586

    App World: 2.0.0.36

    BES

I went through the same exact process, with another identical handset, on the same plane, set up identically and it worked perfectly.

When you select the button 'Download' for an App World app, I'm prompted to enter my ID BlackBerry, once I entered the a dialog box pops up saying "Authenticating...". ', very quickly, another dialog box appears with the following error message:

BlackBerry App World is having problems connecting to the BlackBerry App World Server. Check your network connections, and then try again.

I checked the credentials work by logging into the web-based application. Also, I tried to use an other blackberry ID on the phone to see if that was the problem.

    Things I've tried so far:

Updates to the book of service with Soft Resets

Wiping the phone and reinstalling with the latest updates for the applications from the OS and core

Remove and then reinstall App World

Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a resolution?

    Thanks in advance!

  • BlackBerry smartphone to test applications

    Hello

The members of the forum can advise on how to test applications on real hardware. I just bought a 'sim free' Pearl 9105 from amazon. But I paid no attention... it's actually from a 3rd party vendor, and they sent a device unlocked with logo orange etc. He has problems with the WiFi, no app store App etc. I also had a wait upgraded to OS 6. It did not work on after spending much time after the methods advised, I gave up. As it is not provided, as announced, I return it. But only just read the return policy and it is not favorable. My mistake I might, if it was directly from Amazon, which would have been more just.

Which leaves me a strange feeling. What are the developers officially supposed to do? Rather than being messed around, is there a standard way to get a feature of development that are available with the version of required operating system etc. ready to go. I hate wasting time with all this and would rather be sitting here software test and writing and above all contributing to the platform. In any case, perhaps with feedback from other developers it will all become clear.

I actually look for os 6 upgrade would be a piece of cake and solve all these problems, but it now seems more that I joined the pirates rather than BONE fide developers, and this isn't what I want to do :-)

    Help, please

Hi, I am also a new developer is just beginning to find some things again, but I can give some useful suggestions for you:

    First of all,

  • BlackBerry Smartphones storage free demand fluctuates...

    Hello!

My father gave me his old BB curve 9300 3, I usually Google for ways to solve the problems, but I have just the solution of this problem can not make out...

This question has been annoys me since last week, every time I check the free space of request, it is changed. I formatted my afternoon today phone (because of this problem) and there were around 60-70 MB of free space (while it should have been beyond 100 MB). in any case, I installed a few applications like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and MemBoo. Tonight, I downloaded a few applications (not even for a total of up to 5 MB) and my storage space fell to 35.3 MB. It is this 'other' to just 50 MB storage and appears in the it yellow. I don't think that they are the application data, since I have little apps THAT big and internal memory of my phone is also pretty empty except the stuff integrated. I have a MicroSD of SanDisk 2 GB. I uploaded a screenshot as well as to better understand.

Alternative link to the screenshot: http://postimg.org/image/n0yvaf91d/

The list of 3rd Party installed applications: -.

BeamExplorer - 324 KB file manager

    Facebook Messenger - 1 MB

    MemBoo - 36KO

    Opera Mini - 610KB

    Screen Grabber free - 245ko

    Signal Booster free - 423KB

    WhatsApp - 6MB

    Help, please!

AppMemory (which I think is what you call "Application storage") will indeed fluctuate all the time. Data are always written, deleted and changed in the various databases that share the same memory space. It is not just the apps that go... it is also the OS itself more data are also there as well for all the databases protected which contain data for messages, calendar, contacts, etc.

AppMemory is a fixed maximum value, which is consumed based on a number of factors - you install the specific operating system, the options in this OS you select applications you install and data that you contain in standard applications. There is no 'normal' amount of AppMemory free to quote... it depends on each choice of individual users of the foregoing. And, if one of the selected applications can be leaking memory of a certain type, it causes AppMemory be eaten and not returned, eventually falling to zero for free.

Free AppMemory of 33.5 MB is normally sufficient value in most cases, because it allows the constant add/change/delete data in these protected databases. But I've never found utility in trying to calculate what should be free AppMemory... on the contrary, just install what I need and see what's left, then see how it is and if it fluctuates too far from this 'normal' level, I look in if I have an application with a memory leak. But really calculate what should be the value isn't something that I have never found utility in trying.

    Good luck!
