BlackBerry smartphones automatically opens specific Web sites

On the storm, is there a way to create a button that opens the browser and go directly to a certain site?  Kind of like having a favorite, but instead click on the browser and then enter in your Favorites and then find and click on the bookmark, the user would like to have a few buttons that each will be open directly to a Web site.  IE, a button will open directly at www.blackberry.com, another at www.crackberry.com , etc..

Two solutions:

1. read this link: http://www.blackberryforums.com/aftermarket-software/60545-web-shortcuts-last.html

2. you create shortcut for sites icons (the most popular which like CrackBerry and BlackBerryForums.com have already). Should a developer or knowledge to develop to create the shortcut application, and it must be signed by RIM.

Bridge is only available for Playbook.

It is a public Web site or internal?

  • BlackBerry smartphones automatically opening a message: P

just received my first blackberry, the storm I like it a lot, but find that it's - always - open emails automatically instead of allowing me to see that it is the first, so I have an opportunity to remove without opening it.

This only happens when it is

Holster. Once I'm just ever so barely and always so imperceptively touch [even the gentlest way] the BB to withdraw the case, the last email has just opened and it's excrutiatingly boring, that it always does.

is it a real 'feature' any [as in a very badly designed] or I'm somehow really triggering to open it as I remove it from its case?

in desperation, I tried even the most ridiculous and the most clumsy techniques to remove my BB from its case, once I get a notification by e-mail, and - always - opening of the email anyway! It's like the BB has a sensor of movement when he was shot that opens the email, instead of just to take away all of the case first and review email is the first.

very weird. any other time, as if the BB is just laying on a surface, itnever opens an email if I lift even in the rudest way-it still allows me to see the email first. It only does this strangeness is in

    Holster. weird how?

actually, now that I have happenbed to get an email; While writing that, here is a new discovery, what I noticed:

just lift the flap of the case, which seems to trigger the opening email. I don't even have to be in contact with the BB. even weirder!

all this experience?  I would definitely make this 'feature' [assuming that it IS a real parameter 'feature' any...]

    Thank you

    Aurore

    hehe please specify

Now it seems less dangerous for me. I'm just worried when it comes to this sort of thing because I destroyed my fair share of expensive technological toys in my day of snooping.

either way, I think the BB can actually two minds read or has feelings... or both

given that I started this thread, the problem CEASES COMPLETELY. My guess is that he has not fixed as if by magic, it

    heard!

    Thank you

    A.

  • How will I know how many times I visited a specific Web site?

I need to know how many times I visited a specific Web site. How can I do in Safari? Thanks much for any help.

You could try your history unless you delete history after each session.

Command + Y should open Safari history or in the Safari menu bar, click on: history > view history

Otherwise, find how many times you have visited a site specific Web is impossible.

Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

Try renaming the file cert8.db in the Firefox profile folder in cert8.db.old or remove the cert8.db file to remove the intermediate certificates that Firefox has stored.

If it helped to solve the problem, then you can delete the renamed file cert8.db.old.
Otherwise you can rename (or copy) the file cert8.db.old to cert8.db to restore previous intermediary certificates.
Firefox automatically records the intermediate certificates when you visit Web sites that send such a certificate.

If that didn't help then remove or rename secmod.db (secmod.db.old) as well.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

  • I can't connect to a specific Web site

My PC is running w7 Pro x 64 and IE9.  I'm unable to connect to a specific Web site for which I have a valid user id (my email address) and password (for me at the time to register for the Web site). When I try to login, I get a message saying the user name or password is incorrect, a second try results in a message that says that either my username and my password is not recognized - it displays also exactly what I typed so I can see my errors. The user name is correct, but the password it displys is not what I came - he says it is so kxEXkaTT that I had entered the correct password kxEXk1T0, the owner of the site says that they have logged on successfully with my user name and password without any problem at all. I tried to connect from my wife PC and PC friends and have had a complete success. All my different passwords with most of the websites that I use have different similar cases and alpha characters and digital and none of them asked me no problem

Other facts are that I was a regular user of this Web site for 3 years without problem until all the time, I upgraded from IE8 to IE9. The site says that they have thousands of registered members, as I am and have not experienced the problem that I have. I also have my PC protected by major software anti virus check and online protection against viruses and malware. and to my knowledge I don't have a virus problem more than 12 years of using a PC. I always check my incoming emails to the ISP server level and delete everything I do not feel safe on before I have to download the rest on my PC. I also only access sites deemed most is serious busdiness, media, and Government don't respect - no games, etc.

I suspect that I have a few curruption of memory possible in the bowels of IE9, but am worried that I won't lose all my existing data, updates and the settings (as Favorites) if I remove and reinstall from the original CD IE9

Any thoughts on what I should do would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Arthur

  • Firefox crashes whenever I have access to specific Web sites

Firefox plant instantly any time I try to access specific Web sites (weather.com, for example), or, more specifically, Wikipedia articles on specific topics. For example, I can look for apples or tuberculosis very well, but it crashes if I look up, say, a performing artist (like for example the pages "Stephen Fry" and "Dr. Dre") or, unfortunately, because I'm a story that needs quick access to abstracts, no matter what section of Wikipedia on a country (those I've tried include the "Finland" pages , "Hungary", "Romania", "Belgium", "Viet Nam"and "Uruguay". " Is there a way can I fix? I really need to be able to access the pages of Wikipedia country.

I used to insert a meta tag, but I don't know how to open a Web site in HTML so that it can be edited.

Hello Carlo, Firefox does not include a built-in Web site editor.

I thought you (1) use an online tool provided by the package of your e-shop, or by your host, for editing files in a browser, or (2) change the files locally and then download (often using an FTP client).

  • Open a Web site with a keyboard shortcut.

    Hello

Is there a way to open a Web site (in a new tab) with a keyboard shortcut.
For example, use Alt + X to open google.com and Alt + V to open gmail.com

    Thanks in advance

One possibility would be to use the PrefBar extension.

This extension allows to set buttons and add a shortcut to the key key.

This is probably the easiest way with a direct URL:

    gBrowser.selectedTab = gBrowser.addTab("<URL>");

You can use a bookmark with a keyword assigned with this code (replace < keyword > with the actual keyword):

    [shortcutURL,postData] = PlacesUtils.getURLAndPostDataForKeyword("<keyword>");
    gBrowser.selectedTab = gBrowser.addTab(shortcutURL);

Reset zoom: CTRL + 0 (zero)

cursor arrow four: You can be your arrows up/down mode of navigation with the keyboard so you immediately at the top and bottom of the page only. Press the F7 key to toggle the keyboard navigation.

  • If I want to open the Web site in a second tab and press Ctrl + T and start typing the title of the website or the URL, why Firefox 4 insists on moving to the first tab? Is it possible to disable this option?

I regularly need to open the same Web site in two tabs, to be able to view the changes between the first and the second opening tabs. In Firefox 3.x I could press Ctrl + T and start typing the URL or Web site title, which would be part by Firefox. This allowed me to open quickly the same website in a second tab Firefox 4 does not, on the contrary, he wants me to switch to the existing tab. This isn't what I need.

Of course, it is possible to open the Web site in a second tab through for example a bookmark, but it takes more time and effort. It would be great if I could select the Firefox behavior in this situation.

If you have already opened this page in another tab and then you get a switch to tab appears in the location bar menu drop-down.

You can watch this extension to prevent that from happening:

  • domain name in the address bar opens another Web site

When you enter my domain name without .com, it opens another Web site with a similar name.

    This has happened

    Each time Firefox opened

Firefox can do a lucky Google search.
    See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Location_Bar_search and http://kb.mozillazine.org/Keyword.URL

You can check the pref keyword ~ 46 ~ URL on the topic: config page.
You can open the topic: config page through the address bar, you open a web site.
