BlackBerry smartphones back to the world of BB - HELP

Recently got the BB Storm 9500.  The 'Unlock' keyboard which was initially set with the phone has changed to the full keyboard.  When I put my password is on this original keyboard.  I need a translation of what 19031 is on the original keyboard.  I thought it was all the numbers, but it is not!  I'm about to get locked I have only 10 attempts!  Help!

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Yes, be very careful... I think it should be this sequence:

. space w d.

This is... period > tiny w > space bar > tiny d > period

If all goes well.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones download of the world of the device applications

Hi all, my BB torch will not download anything either form the world unit! itself to download the program, but never the download ends, how can I solve this problem and also remove what it started to download! Thank you

    Hello!

I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

    1. open the App World

    2. go to my world

    3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

    3. for Storm/Pearl - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

    4. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

    5. return to the AppWorld. Connect to MyWorld (if there is one) and try again.

I hope it'll work for you! Good luck and let us know!

PS - it is AppWorld... no device world.

I want to save the AddressBook on PC. I can't do it with the Desktop Manager. I don't know why, but it does not work? Is there another possibility?

    Of course you can.

Well, you should be able to do it, but until you're able to explain more clearly what you are doing, so that we can solve the hang up, it is impossible to determine how to help you.

So, you can make a backup with Desktop Manager if you prefer. Then use ABC Amber IPD Converter software (google to find it) to extract the file backup IPD to your address book.

But my first advice is easier.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones has locked the security something. Help, please!

When I go to options > security options > advanced security option > memory cleaning there is a status option to enable it. I just recently received my blackberry and I wanted to see what this setting. I allowed him and now it is locked and it will not unlock. How can I unlock it? Seriously, I hate cleaning, it does. If I have not all clean when the settings off.

On your BlackBerry, you have a Content Protection is enabled, the encryption Options > Security?

    If so, that disable.

Memory cleaner is turned on, or gets in some events, such as changing a zone or to synchronize your data with Desktop Manager. If you did that?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones has confused the BBM. Someone help me please.

I was really by this name until I'm a BBM 9860 torch. But now...

The accusation is not to stay fully in one day itself.

Have restarted at least three times a day (sometimes while participating in calls).

Yesterday I went into a store to get the same mobile for my friend, as he was amazed by his style.

But the seller said the model was arrested now, because there are so many software problems (like not getting any network in other countries). I work away from my home country now, I also fear the same question.

Also I bought for 1300 /-QAR. But the rate is now 900 /-QAR. If I think about selling this mobile also I couldn't any of resale value, as is the case with this model.

I would like to know if there is anything you can do for us, your loyal customers.

Even I am willing to trade with any other model of BBM with the same speed, if the company has plans to help us.

The latest OS for the 9860 is 7.1.0.569, I think.

Your mobile carrier may not have released version 7.1, but you can install another version of suppliers without problem.

Operating system device provided are "released" by specific carriers once that they are certified and trained to their support technicians, but still, you are able to load any carrier the same model by following the instructions below.

See the link below to download it and follow these simple instructions.

    http://www.BlackBerryOS.com/9850-9860-operating-software/32833-discuss-official-OS-7-1-0-569-BlackBe...

Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

    1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
    2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  • Storm blackBerry Smartphones constantly repeats the loading screen! Help, please!

One minute, he was doing fine, then I pick it up and it is just repeating the loading screen (for example the white background with the black dial of the timer and place) again and again. Y at - it something I can do? I tried reset hard, but nothing! Arghhhhhhhhhhh.

Oh no, my phone would not do anything except the initial loading screen after a hard reset. At the end I had to update without backup all my stuff so I lost a LOT of things, but it's now runnign less time there never... so I guess it was my phone just say mew that it takes a little update or something. But thank you

  • BlackBerry Smartphones flushed down the toilet - everything works except the speaker...

Hi, hope someone can help you.

As the title suggests, I emptied my phone down the loo (it was an accident), but now everything works perfectly, but I have no sound.

Thus, no ringing and I checked the music & who doesn't work or the other.  I guess something has fried, does anyone have suggestions?

    Thank you very much.

How long has been parched? Probably not enough, something like that REQUIRES 4-5 full days, no battery, no checked during the process and left in rice dry throughout the period.

STOP: 0x0000007e (0xc000001d, ox8537008 0xba4c3508 0xba4c3204) and the system would not come to the top.

Error blue screen STOP: 0x0000007e. I powercycled the sys, unable to choose for sure (keys do not work when you try to select a mode) sys is trying just to go back to the blue screen. Help, please

Symptoms: Booted computer, loaded the raid drivers and showed at the start screen XP for half a second then to BSOD with a Stop error Code 0x0000007E - see also a lot of users (0xC0000001D, 0 x-, etc.) as well.

    Solution:

1 boot from your Windows XP CD and start the recovery console. You may need to press F6 while RC loads in order to load the SATA drivers. you will have a prompt c:\WINDOWS to the console.

    2. type: CD $NtUninstallKB977165$ \spuninst (it's the update, I had to uninstall to get out of the boot loop, other updates can be uninstalled by changing the name of the directory to $NtUninstallKBCODE$, where KBCODE is the code KB)

    3. type: BATCH spuninst.txt

    4. type: exit

Don't forget to configure your system to boot from the HD before resuming. I hope this helps. Saved me a lot of hassle today.

  • 9380 blackBerry smartphones cannot start the App World after the operating system upgrade + card

    Hello

my camera 9380 worked perfect when I bought it.

Then I upgraded OS to v7.0.0.513 to 7.1.0.366-> BBM did not work

    So I drove back and re-installed 7.0->

    (1) maps: "error at startup net_rim_bb_maps: class 'net.rim.device.api.lbs.maps.ui.ManeuverFiled' not found.

    (2) BB App World must be closed

    any help?

    THX

Hello and welcome to the community!

I'm sorry, but the errors you posted seem somewhat independent... so I need clarification please:

    Gbassi wrote:

Unfortunately, "did not work" is not really diagnosable. What, exactly, have you tried? What, exactly, happened every step of what you tried?

    Gbassi wrote:

    So I drove back and re-installed 7.0->

    (1) maps: "error at startup net_rim_bb_maps: class 'net.rim.device.api.lbs.maps.ui.ManeuverFiled' not found.

    (2) BB App World must be closed

I do not see how these two errors are related to the first, you were trying to throw the maps app when it appeared? For the second, which came with the maps app? Or is separate #2 and lies somewhere in the process by using your AppWorld? Complete step by step of what you try, with a full explanation of what is happening at each stage, including the full text of all error messages, is essential to understand your situation and if all goes well to guide. Otherwise, we have to guess...

So I guess. My guess is that, once you upgrade to 7.1, you don't have to perform a few extra steps to ensure that all services were properly enabled on your BB. Here are the steps. I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! You can try these few points in your process... either now (on 7.0.0.513) or after you re - try to upgrade to 7.1.0.366.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry new Smartphones come into the world of blackberry...

... so please be gentle with me

I just joined the world of blackberry with a Curve 8520 and have some very simple questions that I see not listed in the FAQ

First of all, as a veteran of the PC and Intel server world, I am always very reluctant to update things like PC BIOS and updates of operating system even without good reason, but I suspect on my BB, that the OS is a bit outdated, as it was delivered. When I am connected to Desktop Manager for the first time, he gave a huge long list of updates that were available.

So the first simple question is - is it safe and the thing that is normally done to keep EVERYTHING up-to-date, or do you tend to follow the philosophy "only update if something is broken? And what are the risks of updating? They don't? Failures are recoverable? I don't want to end up with a handful of useless crushed raspberries...

Another quick question is on Wi - Fi - if I am in an area where I have a mobile network connection AND a WiFi connection, which takes preference for things like browsing the web? I expected to be abe to set up some sort of priority, but through a Wi - Fi connection if the signal is there? What happens if there is no network connection mobile - things to work with JUST a Wi - Fi connection and which rely on a mobile network? I guess, for example, that BBM uses mobile network services and does not work over Wi - Fi?

    Thanks in anticipation...

I have updated to 6 DM and have had no problem.

The interface is different on the new version and you may need to look in different areas.

But for the most part, it works for the most part the same.

Best bet is to just play with it and see if you like it, otherwise, you can re-download the 5.0

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not upgrade world BB (I think)

A few weeks when starting AppWorld on my phone, it said I needed to upgrade my AppWorld/world software.  I went through a process of downloading, including the signing of an agreement of the user, who probably took care of him.

But I don't, because I didn't take over the world.  Here's what I'm trying to start:

Press App World icon in the home screen

Message appears: "to continue using Blackberry App World, you need to upgrade your current version. ..."

    Select [update]

A web page loads up, that resembles http://appworld.blackberry.com, except that do not load images

And here I go, because I do not know what, if anything, I have to have from there.

    I have a Blackberry 8350, and the OS is (I guess)? 5.0.0.601.

    Help please?

Hello and welcome to the community!

    Please try this sequence:

    (1) to remove from your BB AppWorld

    • KB10040 How to view or delete applications on a BlackBerry smartphone
    • He asks to restart the BB,

    (2) a Batt Pull reboot (power on, remove the battery, wait, insert the battery, wait), even if redundant to the one you did in step 1.

    3) install a new copy of AppWorld (on your BB)

    (4) restart another Batt-sweater

    (5) see if it works now.

    See you soon!

  • PROCESS of RESTARTING of blackBerry Smartphones IS at the point of DEATH

I tried to reboot my device by removing the battery and reinsert. The restart process gets to about 60% of the way through and then stops. On the screen, the white line, showing the progress extends just to the right of the touchpad with about 1 cm to complete.  I tried to connect to the Fund Manager, but it does not detect the phone in this State. Any ideas. Can it be linked to the level of battery power?  Clearly a software problem. Is it possible to go beyond this crash?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones reset to the factory settings

Hi, I am very new to the world of blackberry and have a few questions that I hope someone can help me with. First of all, I bought a new blackberry on ebay and I would like to know if there is a way to reset my blackberry so I can start over without the previous owners on this topic information.

Also, I get a message in my message box and also my mailbox every time I receive by email, I want to keep them separate, is it possible to do, I would just receive text messages in my message box and an email in my email box. I hope I explained this right.

Thank you very much, I love this place, it has so much information. Thanks to whoever started it. Shellster

You need to back up only the information that you entered in the device memory.

For example, your address book (contacts).

Below there are links that show you the steps for the backup. Each link points to a screenshot.

(Backup and Restore) selected in Blackberry Desktop Manager

    Window [backup and Restore]

    Selective backup

Selective backup shows the following selected data to save:

    1. Address book
    2. Address book options
    3. Calendar
    4. Calendar options
    5. Memos
    6. SMS messages

If you want to save another information - right, select it in the list on the right and click on the "Left arrow" button on the window of dialogue, to transfer the list item selected in the list on the left.

When you click on 'Close' button the Blackberry Desktop Manager offers to save the *.ipd file to a specific location.

This file contains all the data.

If you have any questions - feel free to ask.
