I had a problem with other methods, like I can't turn on the computer without the battery. I actually had this for 4 years and the warranty is already dissipated and it still works very well, except for the battery, so I don't want to lose, so if you could help me fix my laptop, that would be great! Thanks in advance if the problem is resolved.

  4 years is about the max for laptop battery life. However, it should run/work with even without battery. You seem to have a defective power adapter - they wear out too.

  Get your full model number or product and use it here to find the model of necessary power for your laptop adapter. Even if they don't have in stock, you should be able to find a way... Amazon, eBay, etc.

• BlackBerry Smartphones ATT 8820-how do I turn off WIFI

  I have a 8820 att. I used to have a curve but need something bigger. I always liked to be able to access the internet with my curve now that I have a 8820 can't understand how use the internet map data when I'm not in a wifi area.

  Is there anyway to turn off the WIFI and just use the data browser?

  (I know how to cut the WIFI but I can't do meet the internet data when turned off)

  Well, it should be automatically - in the SERVICE of the BIS.

  Look at the Options > mobile networks. Do you think that the Mobile network = your carrier?

  and in Data Services, make sure that it is on.

  Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the whole 4h15m process, your BB should stay connected to a good charger (not the USB PC):

  1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
  2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
  3. Remove the battery
  4. Wait 15 minutes
  5. Insert the battery
  6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

  This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

  It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

  1. Get a known good and already fully charge battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
  2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

  The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem.

Whenever I try to connect to a network that I have already put in place (such as my house), my phone says impossible to turn on the WiFi and WiFi radio is turned off.

  I tried to restart my phone, turning on and outside and even take out the battery. Nothing seems to work!

  It actually just resolved on its own... it did not work for 2 weeks and now all of a sudden it works. I have nothing else.

  When matching my 9700 with my computer, running Windows 7 Ultimate, I can pair it with success, but the installation of the device driver that breaks down, in turn, makes the pairing process fail.  Windows can't find a driver for my device and invite you to search the site of RIM.  It might be simply too cryptic for me but I can't seem to find an answer to my problem here either.  The Microsoft Web site doesn't help.

  The matching process is always configured and I can connect to my phone via the Desktop Manager but trying to synchronize, the process fails due to the problem of Windows and the connection is complete.  As a result of the termination, and as a side effect, the phone starts now dial my phone at home for some strange reason.

  I have installed 5.0.0.330 on my phone.

  I had the same problem with another computer running Vista.  On XP, everything worked very well, but it is now years.

  Any help or idea would be greatly appreciated.

  Well, it worked... sorta...

  I always get the same error Windows, but I managed to synchronize.  However, at the end he composed always fixed my phone without reason.

  I'll stick to the USB connection, it's all just too weird.

  Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  What you have going on here, it's a problem with the regulation of power on the motherboard or a problem with not enough amps from the power supply.

  Can you try feeding on a laptop or have a place that you can take to check?

  The only other way to check if you have already made the checks of the battery and so on is getting the system sent repair.  To do this, you will need to contact the HP support by phone.

• BlackBerry Smartphones BB Bold 9650 does not charge or turn on

  My Bold 9650 suddenly not turn on or charge.  Remove the battery for a minute and you try to load cause the Red charge light coming for 10 seconds approximately and then the phone goes dead (IE won't load any more).  The battery is good; I checked on another BB.

  Any suggestions?

  Have you tried to LEAVE the device connected to a wall charger and remove the battery and reinsert to restart?

  I bought my BB Bold 9900 10 months and I never had problems charging my battery. But the other day, when I got home and charged, when I woke up, Led - the RED light flashes and custom light up. I used another charger (nine) but still the same. I tried to plug it into my laptop for charging, but still not good. BB office says this device was not connected (since obviously he doesn't have the power). I searched online and I tried the "kickstart" they say where I have to charge my phone for 2 hrs and remove the battery for 10 minutes and put the battery back and wait another 2 hours - still not good . Although when I tried, I saw the icon charge for a few seconds during the first 2 hours, but do not see it again.

  Anyone have a suggestion? Do you want to know if I need to replace my battery or have this problem? We have no Center service BB here in the Philippines. The trader would normally send unit to Singapore to have checked/fixed. I can't afford not to have my phone because of my work and I have files that are stored in...

  In waiting for someone to answer, I did some research and tried them out, but so far, I'm still not able to turn onn/load my camera.

  Here's what I've tried so far:

  1 pull the battery loading and put back on the

  2. the "kickstart" than what a qualified member where in while now the end call key, remove the battery and the light RED LED while that appear and immediately press call button for 3 seconds and press the end button again. He advised to do 7-12 times and told me that does not work the first time... but try again. (I tried to do this several times)

  3. a publication that he had his dependents for like 2 days and removed the battery every 2-3 hours. (did not have my phone which support long however )

  4 force detect the BlackBerry smartphone by using the Application Loader. It was also published in KB10144of Blackberry Knowledge Base.

  FYI: guests of the message I have seems different from what has been published well since I don't have the chance to reinsert the battery. I was prompted to unplug the unit and close the application before installation. After you restart, DM didn't register my device. Did not have the option 'new attempt/Update ".

  (I know it's funny you reply to my own post, but I'm really desperate now.) And hoping that someone must answer, at least you know what I've done so far)

  If the battery discharged spontaneously, that would actually cause for alarm. If your symptoms match something, then likely recommendation is to reload for a while (at least 2 hours, IMO) and then see if your BB is back to normal. If the behavior persists, consult a warranty evaluation.

  Do you have a previous backup of your device, because to recover your device from this current situation you lose data within your device, try the steps to recover your device from this current situation:

  There are two methods for recovering for you to try:

  One:

  • Open Blackberry Desktop Software & connect your device with the PC using the USB cable, without inserting the battery.
  • You have three Retry option, update or cancel, and then click Update.
  • Once it is at the stage of the "initialization of pocket" update, then insert the batteries.
  • If this does not work, and you get stuck on the safeguarding of social data feeds, go to the second method below.
