BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry 9300 - slow rate on EDGE

My 1st question is: is the BB 9300 3 or EDGE. Whenever I go on facebook it takes time for comments/photos to open. I don't have a lot of music on my phone. Last night I had bluetooth 25 songs on my phone. I don't have 8 photos and videos on my phone. I don't have other unnecessary applications. I noticed that this phone going between 3G and EDGE. When his EDGE on so I can put the phone away so I can't do anything.
My 2nd question: why when I download "free", as world radio applications, and when I use it, I have to pay. My service provider is unable to know that this is an application of BB.
question 3: if I have audio listen to a local radio station (www.lovefm.co.za) then I experience constant buffering. According to the radio host, I'm the only one that this experience. What can I do?
One of the reasons why I got the BB9300 is because there has been problems of slow response. And now with the 9300 it feels worse. Can someone help me please?

How long until what someone answer. It is more than five days already

  • Reloading of Clean of Smartphones blackBerry OS of Blackberry 9300

    Hi guys, this is my first post here and I hope that someone can help me with the problem I'm having. I have a BlackBerry 9300, which is used only for bbm now. A few weeks ago, I bought an iPhone because my 9300 began to turn to a blank screen on a regular basis then the trackpad began to scroll on its own without touching myself. Now I have a big problem with the phone, the trackpad stopped working, what is not cool. I like 30 bbm messages I can't read! I did a lot of research on this subject and it seems that the only solution is to perform a clean reload of the operating system. There are a lot of tutorials showing how do with BDM, but I tried to run with BDM v.7.1.0.41 nothing works. New BDM version doesn't seem to have the features detailed in all tutorials.

    Can someone tell me exactly how to perform a clean reload with BDM v.7.1.0.41? Or point me in the direction where I can get information.

    Thanks in advance

    See you soon

    You are welcome.

    Good luck.

    Please do not use foul language.

    Operating system device provided are "released" by specific carriers once that they are certified and trained to their support technicians, but still, you are able to load any carrier the same model by following the instructions below. Apparently '3' is not from the same upgrade as O2.

    See the link below to download and follow the simple installation instructions to install 6.0.0.668 in your 9300 OS.

    Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

    1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

    https://swdownloads.BlackBerry.com/downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=D840CC5D906C3E9C84374C8919D2...

    2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

    Note: Some users may be concerned they will void their warranty of device by loading an OS from another carrier. There is really nothing to fear. Please read more information about it here: http://www.port3101.org/power-users/296-blackberry-os-upgrade-including-betas-myths-dispelled.html

  • FileSystemRegistry.listRoots () will return NULL on BlackBerry 9300

    I try to get the path the SD card in my blackberry application, and when I run this code:

    sdCardPresent = false;
    String root = null;
    Enumeration e = FileSystemRegistry.listRoots();
    while (e.hasMoreElements())
    {
         root = (String)e.nextElement();
         if(root.equalsIgnoreCase("sdcard/"))
         {
              sdCardPresent = true;
         }
    }

    on device Blackberry 9300, the line Enumeration e = FileSystemRegistry.listRoots (); Returns a null value. I've tested this on two different 9300, both with SDCards, and the result is the same. The code works on other test equipment and simulators. Any experience this problem in the past?

    Nevermind, I solved it. It was because I had the courage to try to debug actually on the device and have it connected to the computer. I pulled the plug and it worked.

  • Incredibly slow blackBerry 9300 smartphones, I've tried everything.

    Hey everybody!

    To start:

    I'm on Koodo

    I have a 3g 9300 curve, and it's OS is 6.0 Bundle 2391

    Storage applications: 189.6 MB used 66.4 free

    Pull dough pre:

    Memory usage: 178.7 used 77.1 free under applications.

    Device status indicates 69103008 bytes free.

    After a battery pull:

    Memory usage: 161.4 used 94.5 free

    Device status: 695473936

    I have all the standard applications provided with the Blackberry, not supplements.

    I have a few hundred MB of music on a 2 GB card.

    Now for the problem.

    I've had my crackberry for a month now, and I love it.  But last week, it has become incredibly slow, sometimes sitting for 10 minutes at a time without me being able to do anything whatsoever, and I missed a few calls telephone too.  In fact, at the ceremony of my school, I had my friend put it in her purse, and when she brought out, it was frozen with the clock displaying the start time of rewards.

    I am extremely frustrated. Here is what I tried:

    Battery pull

    Clear the log

    Cleaner memory

    Close all possible applications

    Remove the media card

    Remove languages that I don't use.

    Someone at - it ideas?

    : My battery life took a dive in the light of this situation of freezing.  It lasts usually me from about 07:00 at arouns 9 or 10 in the night, so a good 14 or 15 hours.  But now he is barely 6 hours, and which is often idle and in my pocket.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    OK, so now back to your security settings and turn it off.

    There is really no need for Memory Cleaner use for most users, it does not increase any amount of memory and regularly uses single process time and causes the processor blasted animated clock.

  • BlackBerry Blackberry Curve Smartphones Downgrade 9300 software

    I downloaded the Blackberry 6 software on my Blackberry Curve 9300 and I noticed that my battery is empty so easily and it is a bit slow and I feel as if it was because my phone does not support very well. Is there a way I can change it in Blackberry 5 software? I found the software Blackberry 5 but I'll click on update and it checks only the software updates and was told it is not new that is not what I want, and when I searched how downgrade, he gave me measures, but I can't find that its telling me to click on my phone if anyone can help me please let me know!

    For now, the oldest operating system loading, I let the downgrade applications as well.

    For example, you could have installed an application compatible only on OS6.

    Also, make sure you do a backup of your device using the Desktop software first. Then you can reinstall all contacts, calendar, etc., would there be problems along the way. Engage with the downgrade by the instructions above.

  • WiFi blackBerry Smartphones Curve 9300 3 problem

    Hi, I recently got my first Blackberry - a 9300 3.

    It seems impossible to connect to my home network via WiFi. I've implemented the BB with a manual setting that I have a non-broadcast SSID and password is correct. My router is a Netgear DG834GT. I have a laptop connected via WiFi so I don't know the router, WiFi & DSL is all operational.

    I can sporadically, but not systematically, ping the router of the BB, but I can't ping a web address (for example google.com). I can't ping the BB from my PC, but an IP Scanner confirms that the BB is on the network.

    My career has suggested a reboot, reinstall the firmware and turn WiFi off & on - everything I did.

    I'm very knowledgeable PC, reasonably network aware, but a complete newbie to BB and smartphones.

    Any ideas?

    Well, I've sorted - or rather Geek Squad pointed me the right direction.

    It seems that the phone does not like the standard security WPA - PSK Protocol. While the router is recognized, the phone cannot communicate through the router.

    Change the wireless security protocol on the router to WPA2-PSK has solved the problem. Of course, if you do this you must also change the Security Protocol on all your other devices on the wireless network, or else they may not work.

  • My phone blackBerry smartphones is extremely slow and eat the battery

    I have faced this problem for 3 days and went to my service provider today to inquire.

    My phone has been extremely slow, the time clock thing is for still running, and so my phone dies in 3 to 4 hours with no real use. I was told that it was because I need to update my OS but when I got home and plugged in it says that my phone is up to date and there is no upgrade available OS. I bought a spare battery to see if it was the problem and it is not. This is getting very frustrating. He even got to the point of when I lock the phone I can't unlock it during the same get the screen to turn on. the only way to start is to pull the battery out and put back.

    What is the problem with my phone?

    Hello maddy 22

    It does not matter how old is your phone recharge your device software will help you of course but do not miss the KB14320 , I suggested after reloading of your device OS. Here's how to reload a device on a Mac software:

    KB19915 How to perform a reload of the own software application smartphone BlackBerry using BlackBerry Desktop Software for mac

    I hope this will help.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry super slow

    Hello
    I use a phone that looks like a smartphone, but it works as a phone of 1992 and its called BlackBerry.

    My questions
    (1) why did BB or BlackBerry takes so long to open some applications, or Web page.
    (2) why BB or BlackBerry refreshes every 2nd day or Messenger(super ridiculous) BlackBerry application.
    (3) why BB or BlackBerry lasts 5-10 minutes to restart in contrast to other smart phones.
    Why 4) makes my BB I can't make calls, all the alternatives (message = call failed), then I had to take the battery out to restart while I can make calls.
    (5) why can't download BB or BlackBerry or download from email?

    It took me almost 2 months to compile these simple questions, because I've done the comparison and research with other hand sets. I also E-mail/called my service provider and confirm there are a few customers got similar concerns about the BlackBerry.
    (iPhone - there no comparison, of course).
    My conclusion is that the BlackBerry is very overrated, unless you can show me / me different tests.

    In addition to your product, I am sure I will get the best customer service you replying to my e-mail.

    Thank you very much for your time.

    Kind regards
    -Dale

    Are you using a 8520? If so, it is based on old technology with OS 5 and yes the browser and many functions are slow because it is not a high-end BlackBerry. you bought a honda civic and not the s2000.

    Many people buy this phone an expect to operate as a "BOLD" and it will not be. It will do most of the things but not eye-catching that the cpu is slower and only a 2g device isn't a device 3g as a "BOLD".
