BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry ID nightmare

Hello

Really hope you can help out here, after saving my backberry ID marry a few months back on the phone had to be returned due to a technical failure.

She has now a new phone, however, on setting up again I / she needs his backberry id password we forgot, not only we have forgottent the answer to the security question.

After reviewing all aid online and previous forum posts it seems that it is a circular process you must either one or the other?

Is - this from there anyway to get a password reset email as I don't have the password or the answer to security question.

Thank you for these details... but I suspect steps 2 and 3 are reversed... I suspect that your wife all emails deleted before that the BB has been fired and replaced?

In any case...

(A). can I create a new BB ID using an e-mail address that is different from the original for me to set up to receive emails on the handset of the [email protected] account?

You can create a new BB ID, as long as you do not use the same username/email address that exists for the BB ID that you don't remember the credentials for. User name/e-mail address is the unique identifier for the account and therefore cannot be duplicated in the identification of BB system.

  • KB24062 How to create a BlackBerry ID

Accounts that you wish to integrate your BB (for 'send' on the BB) are technically unrelated to the BB ID, himself. All accessible by internet e-mail accounts can have multiple clients interfacing for them... Outlook, BBs, other devices, etc. all are configurable to work with the same e-mail account, as long as the server places no restrictions on multiple-client access to the e-mail account. I have no idea what btinternet done in this regard.

The BBID will contain the identification information for e-mail accounts that are integrated into the BB, in order to facilitate an easier transition for new devices. So there can be a single BB ID with an associated e-mail address (since it is the identifier unique account ID of BB), but several BB ID may contain credentials for the same account of electronic mail for use on the BB (still once, as long as multiple-client access is not limited by the e-mail provider).

Thursday wrote:

(B) if so, can I then associate the original email address with the new BB ID account so that blackberry emails go to this account?

Yes - as long as the e-mail account allows multiple access to the customer, then there will be no problem. But, even once, I have no idea what your email provider is done in this regard.

Thursday wrote:

(C) if not, is there a way to get rid of the original ID BB account and starting from scratch?

The original e-mail received, during the creation of the BB ID, should have included a link to destroy the account ID of BB. It's the only way (other that the human intervention method I discussed way above) to accomplish this feat.

Note Please again that I know nothing of your email provider. If, for example, this e-mail domain, you discussed is a hosted e-mail account (e.g., @bb, @carrier, etc.), so only you have access to this account's mails via the unit... most of the hosted accounts allow device access to their e-mail accounts. As a result, which complicates things. Hosted e-mail accounts cannot be used the credentials for any service of BB, that things become difficult (see the previous answer, with links to discuss this situation). But, yet again, I have no idea if your btinternet account is a hosted (by your operator) or an e-mail account available for free via other means of interface (for example, Outlook, webmail, etc.).

Hope that helps!

  • BlackBerry smartphone email PASSWORD LOOP NIGHTMARE!

Please can someone help me... Monday, I contacted BT on a new fixed rate, and I noticed just today that I wasn't getting emails on my Blackberry. I had to set up, then e-mail settings and can see the 'old' e-mail account that worked no probs until Monday. It requires a password, but I tried all the 'usuals' nothing works.  I went on the BlackBerry Internet Service site to try to reset my password, I managed to do that they sent my new password to my email address that does not work! So I can't access it now.  He went through on my PC (although it is the same email address), or my ipod (also same e-mail address), how can I have access to this password?  I tried all the other usuals solve this problem - I rebooted, got wifi on etc etc.  Please if anyone knows can they explain it in terms simple v that I am a techno * beep! * Thanks in advance,

    Hello again,

I solved the problem (with your help so thank you much for that)

I phoned Vodafone this morning, but he was using my cell phone to call therefore had to phone back tonight.  It turns out that the two e-mail addresses (address of BT) and My Vodafone address had been "knocked out" for example - I go to www.mobileemail.vodafone.net to log in and confirm a new password.  Vodafone have been able to help me with their address, but then I knew that the process for BT, (although I've had a few guesses a password!)  Vodafone customer service has been exemplary

But without your help I probably would not have thought phone Vodafone because I wasn't expecting to help (especially when I thought it was only a matter of BT)

Exactlywhat still im not sure caused the problem in the first place, but am very happy to have solved it. Thank you.

    Can someone please help.

I got a Blackberry "BOLD" of my company that was provided by Orange France, but has been unlocked I work between Angola and the United Kingdom, and it is more convenient to use my Angolan sim or the United Kingdom. I can't really do anything with it other than call basic or texts and WIFI active webmail. I can't set up personal or blackberry email because it only gives me the option of e-mail work and things such as Blackberry Maps seem to be missing. I am currently in Angola so that I have to wait until I am back in the United Kingdom and set up with Vodafone, which is my UK service provider? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

  • BlackBerry smartphones HELP! 507 error plus error when download is my biggest nightmare!

Please help with my problem... I woke up this morning with my "BOLD" with a white screen and "Reload software 507" error... Since follow-up, I have some advice on the forums with a similar error, but without success.

When I connect my "BOLD" for the PC, the Desktop Manager says essentially disconnected at the top and 'none' to the device at the bottom. When I try to update via the application loader, I enter my pin code and he's looking for the OS, then finally I get the message "an error occurred while downloading software for your device, try again later". My internet connection is definitely work. The error message also alternates between 507 and 561.

I also downloaded the latest OS via the site Web de Blackberry directly to my PC and then run that. Same evetually problems when you are trying to connect/setting to date.

Are there solutions? Thanks for your help.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry user ID

    Hello

    I'm having a nightmare!

After that whatsapp is not historical list of messages / conversations, I followed the instructions to remove and reinstall.

When I tried to reinstall in the Blackberry World, I couldn't hold back my Blackberry ID password, so I reset it.

I tried to come in with the new password, and it read "enter the username associated with this smartphone.

If I go into Options, then third, then Applications Blackberry ID, it ignores the form and takes me directly into the blue user ID / interface password, I get the same message "enter the username associated with this smartphone.

    Help, please!

I am now without whatsapp or the ability to download any application.

In addition, the "phone of works perfectly - email, facebook, twitter"

    Thank you!

    Rebecca

I suggested the wipe in my first reply to you. Glad you're running.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not verify my blacberry id - enter the username associated with this phone - ARGH!

I just got my blackberry a few days ago and it makes me nuts trying to get this set up. I'm pretty tech savy, but not when it comes to this phone.

I created an account via blackberry, but then I could not for the life of me remember the password I put on it. So, which became a nightmare and I ended up deleting this account and set up a new through the computer.

Now, every time I try and connect to this, as the app world to try to put things in place and not - I get the error message "enter the username associated with this smartphone.

So I enter the new name of user and password I put in place and it works so of course I tried to get all blackberry programs set up on my computer and connect the phone to my computer - but my house is a deadband for cells - so I can't do set up because I can not access my "data plan" in my house.

I recorded my phone, I have taken the battery all that fun stuff - but it's still not working! That makes me BONKERS - I can not set up email, bbm anything because I can't access my account - ARGH! I really hope that someone can help you.

No doubt because I posted this - my friend that I couldn't reach finally called me and told me to do a security wipe and then start again. It WORKED! So if anyone has this problem, just try to do a wipe

  • Problems with my Blackberry Storm blackBerry Smartphones

I just bought a new Blackberry Storm Verizon about a week and a half. I really wanted to get one when they came out first, but a lot of apps from third party that I used all the time on my Motorola Q were not available for the storm. After waiting this long I decided to go there and get one anyway and test it. Much, I love the storm and the concept, Blackberry (storm) and very in deca. I used a Motorola Q for the last 3 years and could do almost everything I needed with it. Why make things too hard and try to be an island intrinsically Blackberry?

Problems I see with Blackberry and storm:

1 JAVAScript does not work correctly. I have installation of webcams in my office and at home that runs Javascript and they work perfectly on my Q using the browser Opera Mobile, Skyfire and IE. On my Storm, I tried to search for it a Blackberry, all three modes of emulation, BB, IE and FireFox and none it will display. (Note: I also tried the bolt and Opera Mini, the cushion of numbers does not work in Opera Mini, he types lower case letters).

    2. software remote access connection is another nightmare. I could use on my Q software VNC FREE remote access to my office or home computers. For the storm, the ONLY option I can find is simply a paid for the program.

    3. the third-party apps. There are very, very small number of third-party for the Blackberry Storm applications (and seems to be the Blackberry in general). Is Blackberry so hung up on themselves that they will not be open and allow the sellers to fill the big gaps they left with their product (s).

    4. I can't access to my college email address located on Microsoft Outlook Live via a web browser or email on the BB.

Here are some of the problems that I have seem to have with the BB. Too bad I don't like Windows, I have to say it works and third party apps are lacking and simply do not work. Apart from all this, I'm really doing my job as a storm for me, because I love the technology involved with him.

A gleemer of hope, thanks goodness PDANet has finally released a beta for the storm. He was the biggest reason that I would not get a storm originally was to be able to connect my laptop to my smartphone.

It seems fitting that BB is trying to keep their technology wrapped so that no one else can fill in the gaps that they leave, because if it was easy to do, then there will be tons of other apps out there that would work.

darkcyber, sorry, but it seems that your post was missing in the middle of all the others.  If you go through the other posts, you will actually see that there is a lot of help here and there clearly are a ton of people who use it.

    1. now then, remember that BlackBerry phones are not the same as the Motorola Q (which was running on Windows Mobile, if I remember correctly).  JavaScript works, but you must make sure his tour on and you may need to change some settings other.  I can't remember where I saw it, but someone has posted a message on the use of their Storm for the display of the webcams.  They said something about having to adjust the parameters of port and udp (sorry, I have not myself this configuration and therefore do not know exactly how do).  Use the search option and you might be able to find the post.

    2. Secondly, it is once again a difference between BlackBerry and Windows Mobile software or Palm OS.  Be happy that you have found a program paying to use.

    3. This can be your impression, but believe me, there are apparently struck for BlackBerry - in thousands tons.  Try to check the new BlackBerry App World and for other programs, check BPlay, MobiHand, Handango, and various other app stores.

    4. do you have a BIS account set up?  You must configure a BIS account and set up your College email there.

I hope that some of these things will answer your questions, or at least points you in the right direction.  In the future, try to use a more descriptive than 'Problems with my Blackberry Storm' title because that will probably draw more people.  And if you get no response, it means one of two things happened - your message is simply missed, or nobody has an answer to your question.  If so, feel free to go back.  Do not react with the message you left as what makes no one want to answer at all (I did because I'm nice and felt bad that the original message had not been addressed, but I know others here who could see this answer and simply walk because of this response).

  • BlackBerry smartphones lost data from calendar

I downloaded an update on my BlackBerry over the weekend. At the end of the download, I got a message in my calendar events were not loaded. Omigod. My calendar is empty.
