  Please try this sequence:

  (1) to remove from your BB AppWorld

  What happens when you try to upload a picture? You get an error message? Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall Facebook® for BlackBerry® smartphones application?

  Select BlackBerry Bold (TM) 9000 in menu drop-down.

  Download and install on your pc.

  Run Desktop Manager make sure you select only the BlackBerry Manager to install application.

  DON'T NOT UOGRADE INTEGER HANDSET OPERATING SYSTEM!

  IT CAN BREAK YOUR PHONE.

  I don't recommend doing this if you are comfortable with Desktop Manager Application loader.

  Hi and welcome to the Forums! I can't tell if you tried this comprehensive procedure yet, so I'll give it to you to try...

  I suggest the following steps (reboot insert a lot of restarting your PC... not only restarts, but at full power down). In addition, it is recommended that you are connected to the PC on an account with full administrator rights. In addition, Vista, use the option "Run As Administrator" for everything.

  (1) remove the package to update your device OS of your PC (Add/Remove Programs)

  (2) properly uninstall the RIM DTM software:

  (3) get a new RIM DTM software download:

  • Choose the version which is more recent and (if any) compatible with your PIM (if you are synchornizing via USB):

  (4) to download a new copy of your package to your carrier OS device (on your PC):

  (5) install DTM on your PC

  (7) start the configuration Organizer:

  Hey there. Have a Bold 9650 running OS 6. Recently received a Blackberry message on the phone that he did not have a new version of the Blackberry App World and asked if I wanted to download and install it. I told him to go to a head and download. Download started then hooked. Will not complete the download and installation. In this way for several days now. Whenever I go to the BB App World currently installed and then go into 'my world' new version of the BB App World is still sitting there with a bar running and he said "start download".  It is stuck and I don't know how to stop it and he out of the loop, it's trying the load down (or not).   CD of the blackBerry device that comes with your BB does not work on Mac. You will need to download a program called PocketMac BlackBerry.com 4.1.

  With the MAC program, you can synchronize the calendar, contacts, tasks, notes of your e-mail client, load applications.

  But the features that comes with the office (on the CD) as a backup/restore Manager, Media Manager and e-mail settings is not available on PocketMac.

  He seems to think that I have a previous version installed in my program files, but no executable such exists (as I mentioned earlier, I followed procedures to clean install more than once

  For all that interested-, I managed to get the installed DM.  I took a hack and slash approach in my registry.  I saved a copy (just in case) and I proceeded to remove all references to ResearchInMotion, RIM and Pumatech.  I went way beyond the entries mentioned in clean used uninstall documentation.  This seems to have solved my problem.

  Did you open AppWorld > MyWorld to see if this download is still there?

  Have you looked at your media > images or media > Wallpaper?

  I accidentally pressed the download button when I was looking at an app and have downloaded and it is now sitting in My World of App World section. It says "Ready to install", but I can't install it because I did not download it. How can I delete this file? When I've highlight it and click on the BlackBerry button, I do not get an option to remove this file - only help, show the memory bar, Log In, install, Application Switch and close. RIM forgot to add an option to remove? Is the only way to get rid of this file is now to insall and uninstall it?

  I don't think so. I think that as soon as you start the sequence to download/install you must perform in order and then uninstall the application. Because it is stuck and don't install it do not in all cases, there is really no wrong save for this be listed this way in your MyWorld. But, you could click and complete the installation, and then follow the normal instructions to uninstall I guess.
