BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry multiple on a single desktop computer.

If I give my wife a blackberry 8300 like mine, can then synchronize it with its 2003 Outlook in its Microsoft XP user account?

I tried to do and synch had his new blackberry very well in his user account.  No problem.  However, when I got back to my user account to sync my I had a few difficulties to get.  I received error messages "unrecognized device".  After some considerable fiddling, I have now solved this problem.

I'm trying to do something that is totally impossible?

Thanks for any thoughts on this.

Richard

Hi and welcome to the forums,

I think that you do it correctly, the Desktop Manager goes by PIN code. I would have suggested 2 accounts on windows that you already have.

There are two files remain active on the PC, when you close Desktop Manager: BBdevmgr.exe and rimdevicemgr.exe Device Manager. I usually have to manually kill the process using Windows Task Manager. I did not have two accounts on my machine, so I don't know if these end up when switch you users. I was looking at these processes when you place or logoff users. If they stay in place, they will give you bad. You can take the habit of restarting between you and your wife using the Desktop Manager.

Let me know if you need more information!

Otherwise, please take a few minutes to solve the message

Thank you!

  • problem of memory with a single desktop computer in a pool

    Hello

I have a user who is faced with problems of performance due to an error, "not enough virtual memory." I guess it's an indication that the office is exhausting its memory resources. That being said, I have about 200 other workstations are well-developed. I don't want to increase the amount of physical and virtual memory on the virtual computer parent as a means of remidying one of the problems of performance to users. can I safely increase memory just on this particular vm through the settings-> memory by using the vsphere client? other recommendations? any idea would be appreciated.

    Cheers.

You can increase the memory of the way you specified, but remember that it will be by default when you refresh or redial this VM.

    Hi markala,.

According to the end-user license agreement, a single purchase of retail for Acrobat license is good for 2 computers.

If you want to install it on 3 machines you need to acquire a volume license.

    Original title: Multi users

Is it possible to set up for multiple users on the same computer to avoid entering the email and password every time that a new user want to check emails?

    Hello

Welcome to the community forums of Microsoft and thanks for posting the question. According to the description, you need help in the creation of multiple user accounts. I've surely you will help find a solution on the issue.

What is the operating system installed on the computer?

User accounts, several people can easily share a single computer. Each person can have a separate user account with unique settings and preferences, such as a screen saver or desktop background. User accounts control files and programs users can access and what types of changes users can make to the computer. As a general rule, you'll want to create standard accounts for most computer users.

If you use Windows Vista or Windows 7, see the article below:

  • I installed the Version 7.0.1. on my laptop and desktop computer, but the home pages are different

I was prompted to upgrade my portable version of Firefox to version 7.0.1. I did this and was very impressed with the new format of the home page with a single button for the menu bar address, etc. of bookmark. I decided to update my desktop computer the same version by downloading the last update, but when it was installed, the format of the home page was not the change to the new format. I decided to use the same installation file I had used on the laptop, but the format has not changed. So I'm puzzled as to why there are two results of different format using the same installation file. Does anyone know of a way to ensure the new format may be invoked on my desk?

If your copy of Windows is an OEM (delivered in a cardboard cover, as a single disc) then no. - the license was related to the motherboard of a fist on which it was installed.

If it's a complete detail of the product (fancy box, two discs), then Yes, you can install it in the new - activate by phone.

  • I have a desktop computer with Vista business I want to upgrade to Windows 7 and install Vista on a laptop that has XP Pro but is Vista capable.

Transfer Vista Business on XP Pro computer.

I have a desktop computer with Vista business I want to upgrade to Windows 7 and install Vista on a laptop that has XP Pro but is Vista capable.

    Hello

If you use the Vista licence as part of the upgrade to Windows 7 you cannot use the license of Vista anywhere elsewhere

It is part of the upgrade process

    and also read this on licensing rules;

If Windows was preinstalled on your computer, Dell, HP, etc., or you bought an OEM/license disk, they are both classified as an OEM license and are not transferable.

The Windows OEM license is linked to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptop

If a retail Windows license, you can transfer it to another computer/laptop.
But it can only be installed on one computer at a time.

A single license is a single Installation.
