BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Speed Dial idea (Contacts with multiple numbers)

I would really like it if I could set time zones for which number call for each contact. For example, if George is working 2 PM to 5 PM, then when I click on his name at 15:00, then she should call his work number and any other time, his cell phone. In this way, contacts with multiple numbers can be easily called from a single entry. But then, it is perhaps too complicated and useless feature.

You must enter all the numbers under the same name.  So for George, you should have an entry with his work, house numbers and mobile included.  Then to call George, simply click the green phone button and start typing G E O in the phone number field and its name should appear in the list.  Then, you can easily scroll to the correct number to dial.

    Hello

On my Z10, when I get a text from a contact with multiple numbers, is there a way to determine what number he sent? Similarly, after I send a text to someone, determine what number (or e-mail address) I chose when composing?

    Thank you!

    Hi annam.

There is no way to see what phone number was used to send the message, if they use several mobile numbers. However, when you answer, it will automatically return to the number, he was sent by.

    Thank you.

  • BlackBerry Z10-text to enter in contact with multiple numbers

    Hello world

I need a little help with sending text messages from my Z10. First some info about the phone:

    • BlackBerry Z10 (STL100-2)
    • OS 10.3.1821 (Beta)
    • Softwareversion 10.3.1.522

    And here's the problem:

Lets say that there is a contact - by the name of Bob - who is listed under its full name under my contacts ("Bob Miller"). This contact has three different cell phone numbers and a normal (private) phone number. When I try to send a text message, I can choose only "whole" contact ("Bob Miller), but cannot choose the specific telephone number where the text message should be sent to. There seems to be no option to develop the different numbers of contacts.

It's a fault in regard to the beta-operating system or what I really need to enter all of the numbers of all my contacts respectively as single entries?

Thanks for your support (and have a good start in the new year)

    Blase007

Perhaps, I do not understand. Here's what I see. I'm leaving the hub. Select a dial. Select text. Enter a name. All (by type) phone numbers and email addresses for this contact are listed in a drop down below the name. I record the mobile, etc.

What you do see, how will you choose a number, and what happens when you try to select a number?

I'm under PassportSQW100-1/10.3.0.1418 by the way.

How can I query the data of Contact with multiple fields?

For example, I'll get contacts which are changed after a point at the specified time and whose country is US. How could I make the chain of research of the SOAP API "Query"?

And I also want to know how to make a search term for RESTful API for contacts above.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Hi Biao,

The following document describes how query for multiple fields using the SOAP API: request a Contact from several fields.

And you can search multiple fields using the REST API with the & operator. For example, to search for a Contact by e-mail address and date of creation:

Hope this helps and please let us know if you need more information.

  • BlackBerry Q10 comes into contact with groups

I have about 200 contacts in my Q10 (automatically imported Contacts Gmail), but it's really annoying to add these contacts manually to the groups, created in Q10.

Is it possible to import groups with contacts from Gmail or organize contacts into groups in the computer and then download to Q10?

    Thanks for the ideas.

    Not that I know of.

As this is a fairly new feature, you might look to come from 3rd party applications to see if they can help.

  • Features speed dial?

Is it possible to implement the features of speed dial with the Pre?  I have seen that there are the "dialing shortcuts", so you can just dial someone 4 or 5 digit extension, but I want to set up speed dial for frequently used phone numbers.  We had with the Treo, why oh why is it gone?  (Or am I just missing something here?)

If you open a contact, then click on contact at the top left and select speed dial. Here you can choose the number you want to add the speed wheel on and then you can pick the number/letter speed dial

  • Problem with headset and speed dial combination blackBerry Smartphones

My headset is a Bluetooth de Motorola 500. I can dial numbers on my speed dial list manually and via voice command and the headset works fine.  When I dial the same number to a speed dial I hear the dial unfold the headset turns off and I hear everything through the phone.  If I hang up and call another call, the headset is very good.  Verizon has replaced the phone thinking it was a hardware problem, but no change.  Did I miss a setting somewhere?

In addition, since activating the new phone, the indicator message indicates 1 new message, but I have been through all the email and SMS accounts and cannot find anything unread.  Thoughts?

If Verizon replaced the phone and you still get problems, there are two potential problems that create this problem:

    1. Your phone is not properly the pairing with the headset.  Once Verizon updated their operating system (OS), this can be resolved as bluetooth was supposed to be improved in later operating systems.
    2. Your helmet is simply not fully compatible with the phone.  I used a Motorola H680 headset and a BlackBerry HS655 + with my Storm and had no problems.

My best guess?  It's probably a combination of 1 and 2 and I'm sure that's all just a related software.  My only suggestion at this point is to wait for Verizon update the operating system for your phone, or you might try an upgrade to another carrier if you wish.  Let us know if you need help with this, but be aware that Verizon doesn't have to endure phones running operating systems that they do not officially support (you can go back if necessary).

Now regarding your second question, so is the message indicator an indicator of normal message?  If so, start by going to your Inbox main and made scroll down through the list of all messages to see if he is here... it could be a PIN message, or something similar.  It could also be a message to the call log.  Go to the phone application (press the green phone button), then to top at the top, click way to call log button.  You may very well have a failure called message it.  In addition, my next suggestion would be to simply try a battery pull.  While the phone is turned on, remove the battery for 15-30 seconds before reinserting.  Wait for the phone to reboot (~ 5 minutes) and then see if he disappeared.

    Keep us informed!

  • Speed dial of Smartphones from blackBerry touchscreen does not work

The speed on my touch screen dial does not work.  At first, I thought it was my service.  But then I noticed that the speed on the keypad dial still works.  How can I fix it?

Restart your device and see if the touch screen speed dial works again, please.

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way:

With the BlackBerry powereddevice, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

  • Questions search Q10 blackBerry on the list of contacts, speed dial issues, lack of features email, contact questions - what happened to BB?

    Hello

I'm putting in place the President of our company with a Q10 of BB new, the software is the latest version. I found what I consider to be some major flaws that need to be resolved before BB away even more users.

First of all, I wonder if there is a way to prevent the search function in the contact list of some areas, including the results - more precisely the scope of the company. Currently I have a number of contacts with the company as "Ontario Northland", I also have a contact named "Ontario Northland' that contains the phone number of the headquarters." When I type the letter 'o' in the search engine it does not have me down to contacts beginning with the letter 'o' as it includes all contacts who have "Ontario Northland" specified in the company field. Response to this question is that, unlike the Z10, Q10 does not the vertical list of letters down the right side to jump quickly to the letter 'o'. I don't understand why it would not be as there is no way to switch to contacts that begin with a certain letter.

In addition, why is there a keypad option in the settings menu if it is absoultely nothing? When can we expect this feature to be completed?

Also, is anyone aware of a way to restore a deleted option "voicemail" from speed dial blocks? We can no longer respect the '1' key to dial voicemail.  It seems that once it has been deleted, the only way to restore it with a factory reset full - obviously not ideal.

Also, why are the hidden squares of empty speed dial when none are set - seems to cause more confusion than anything else.

How is it when a row of blocks of speed dial are filled, the only way to add extra blocks is to go into the contacts list to add another, why not simply fired on another line empty?

I noticed the following bug when you try to set up some speed dial contacts. Contacts that include a first and last name, adding speed dial blocks, only display the phone number in the block. It seems that the only way to fix the problem is to remove the contact from the speed dial blocks, rename and save the contact, then rename it to how it was, then it readd for blocks of speed dial. It seems that this is the case for a lot of contacts that are added via the Activation of the company.

How to delete all emails older than the email selected? This is the type of features that separates the BB of toys like the IPhone, why it was deleted? Bring it back as soon as possible.

Does anyone have a work around for these issues or maybe if I'm missing something can you point me in the right direction.

    Thank you

    Mike

    * UPDATE *.

I finally understand how to use the speed of Keypress function on the Q10 composition.

You will notice if you press the phone icon, drag to the bottom of the bezzel top of the page, then select settings there is an option to "dial quick Keypress ' at the bottom of the list. When you select the menu option has virtually nothing you can do other than to highlight in blue letters. For the use of the service, you must do the following:

    1. in the main screen, select the phone icon.

    2. Select the keypad

    3. on the key dial screen, hold down a letter of your choice on the QWERTY keyboard. You will be asked to link a contact to the key.

    4. Select a phone number of a contact of your choice to link to the letter.

To place a call with the press of button:

    1. in the main screen, select the phone icon.

    2. Select the keypad

3 hold the letter that you have connected a contact.

It seems there is no way to dial directly from the home screen, but this should suffice until there is a way.

    See you soon!

  • Disaster of synchronization unwanted Contact with blackBerry Smartphones

I just got the 7.1 upgrade. Unbeknownst to the BB chose one of my email addresses and sync all my contacts on the net... it's really bad because I do not want my contacts synchronized to one of my email accounts, never. I just want what they on my BB and only my BB. If I delete them on the net, they disappear from my BB. I can't create a new one without being on an e-mail account. Do I need to downgrade to 7.0 to stop this?

    Celt_UK wrote:
Can I just get the contacts only on the BB and he never asks me what email address must be associated with a new contact?

Yes, do what I said above, disable the synchronization of contact.

I think (and don't ask me how) I could remove my contacts to hotmail but leave them on the BB... now isthere any way to get rid of the liaison between the BB contacts and my email?

If you have more than one e-mail account on the BlackBerry, the address book to associate with one or the other. But if you turn off synchronization according to the guidelines, it will not.

This isn't an OS7.1 upgrade function, it is here since OS5 and depends on the integration of BIS of your accounts.
