BlackBerry Smartphones Bluetooth Headset - only works for calls

I have a Blackberry Pearl 8100 Smartphone. I was quickly able to get a bluetooth headset to work with her. Unfortunately, when playing music headset does not work (the sound only comes out the phone via the handset or the speaker). If a request comes in while music is playing, the bluetooth headset picks it up.

I'm doing something wrong? Why not the music on the game Pearl via bluetooth if I want?
Thanks for any help there...

Don

Resolved when I upgraded the operating system.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Bluetooth headset

I can answer is no longer a call only from my Plantronic Bluetooth headset.  I have to respond on the BB, then choose either 'forward the call to handset' or «continue with Bluetooth»  This has just begun.  I can't find a setting to route the call automatically to my helmet.  And it sounds no longer on my helmet.  Any ideas?

Hello and welcome to the community!

Each time a random strange behavior or slowness comes, the first thing to try is a proper reboot:

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.

See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones wired headphones only work with Media Player - only in calls

I have a generic wired headset connected to my Blackberry 8310, which works very well to listen to music and watch films through the media player, but when I try to make a call the sound is not patched with the headset (the speaker on the device is active instead).

I bought a different helmet, thinking it was a hardware problem, but I get the same result. It's like I have to activate the headset so that it works when making calls. I tried to find some kind of configuration for it - no luck. What Miss me?

I finally found the problem - the operating system. I had installed 4.2 on my 8310 and when I upgraded to 4.5 helmet began to work. Now, I just need to find a way to have the ring road sound automatically to the headset when connected (receiving or making calls).

Do you have a data Plan BlackBerry enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?

You have to, to get the push RIM email functions you are looking for, as well as services of BlackBerry data such as the Web browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger and much more.

Then call your carrier and you learn about to have added to your account BlackBerry data Plan.

    Good luck.

  • Synchronize the dictionary of data with model only works for models imported?

When I imported data dictionary model (file-> import-> data dictionary) then in relational model the two buttons "Synchronize Data with Model Dictionary" and "Synchronize model with Data Dictionary" works very well.

But when I model created from scratch and I'm clicking on the buttons "Synchronize data dictionary with the model" or "Synchronize model with Data Dictionary" nothing happens.

It works only for models imported?

    (Data model EA 3.3)

    Hello

Yes, Synchronize only works for objects that were imported to the original (like Synchronize uses the information entered during the import to determine which database connection and the database object to compare to).

If your model is not imported, you can achieve the same effect as follows:
-Open the template in Data Modeler and also open the relevant physical model.
-Do an Import of data dictionary, select the objects you want to compare with that.

After the import phase, this will display the dialog box to compare, showing the differences between the objects imported from the database and your model.

Note that if you intend to generate the DDL to update your database of the difference (as in "synchronize with Model Data Dictionary"), you must select the "Swap Target Model" option in step 2 (select database schema) data dictionary import wizard.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Bluetooth mic has stopped working

I have a Blackberry Pearl 8220 phone. I had paired bluetooth etc. successfully and have used for months before.  All of a sudden micro Bluetooth stopped working. The caller on the other end cannot hear me. I am able to hear fine appellant.
It is certainly a problem with the phone because I tried two bluetooth headsets. Two of them showed the same symptom with Blackberry but worked on other phones.  Hoping someone thre can help.

With the help of BlackBerry 8220

    platform v4.6.0.293 4.1.0.100

Tried to do a battery pull several times

Improved using the bb Desktop Manager software

have, check the other threads on this forum.  The 8220 simply comes with a defective bluetooth chip and he dies everyone before too long.  I hope that your phone is still under warranty with T-Mobile, because it's the only way to get this problem RIM on you fixed.  If you don't have T-Mobile, RIM is not concerned.  Even if everyone speaks in even on their own forums, they have not even acknowledged that this is a widespread problem.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Bluetooth and Caller ID

    Hi all!

New to the forum and there seems to be a lot of information to absorb around here.  I searched for a while, without success, an answer to the following question:

Any BlackBerry smartphones (Bold, Tour, Cure, etc.) send two contact person AND number via bluetooth caller ID info or just the phone number?

I'm playing with a Gigaset One / XLink Bluetooth gateway for home phones and that the number is going on the wireless phone, even if the name is known and displayed on my phone.  The manufacturer said that not all phones will send the name even if it is stored.

So, I'm trying to understand if the BlackBerry 9000 "BOLD" does not send name, gateway does not pass along or cordless phone is not read it.

Any help or information relating to the identification of the appellant via bluetooth would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Well, it seems that only the BlackBerry phones send only the number and not the name when it comes to Bluetooth caller ID information.  Even if you have contacts stored in your phone, and it comes up with a name and a number, only the number will be sent to the Bluetooth device.

I received an email from XLink, indicating as they do know that the MotoRokr and iPhone (no specified people) actually don't send name and number calling info ID via Bluetooth, but BlackBerry does not.  I would check this info before I bet on it if.

So, if you plan to use a Bluetooth compatible device to read or make the ID information calling pass of your BlackBerry terminal (telephone wireless, hands-free system, etc.) certainly has enough space to hold all of your contacts that you will get only the Caller ID names for numbers stored in the terminal.

In addition, you do not want to look for one who can read contacts via Bluetooth from your mobile/smartphone specific rather than spending hours entering all contacts by hand.

My headache started when I bought a Gigaset One / Xlink Cellular Gateway and has not obtained the names of the caller ID on the AT & T wireless phone.  Many cordless phones have only a directory number 50 which is not sufficient.  This phone has replaced by TL92270 of AT & T that indicates it can match and 1500 charge contacts of 4 cell phones (Yes, 6000 in total).  That should be enough... :-)
