BlackBerry Smartphones boring vibrate before your ring

I have to go crazy trying to delete it.

When my phone rings first, it vibrates then rings. I can't understand any where how having just the phone ring without vibration. Is it whatever it is in the framework I could date.

Go to your profiles icon > select profile and press edit > select the application you want to change (phone, messages) > select edit > change the output of the Holster for the right tone.

  • BlackBerry smartphones helps, vibrate mode and ringing continues to play

whenever I put my phone vibrate only mode, it still plays my ringtone after.

That's my General and specific ringtones.

so, im always silent use in place and lack of calls or texts.

I had the same problem since I first storm last November. After many calls to Verizon and visits to several Verizon stores, I finally understood that I had to fix it myself. I created a sound custom profile with all the parameters that I would have expected the 'Vibrate' profile would have provided with the phone. When I use my custom profile, custom ringtones vibrate just like any other ringtone. If you need help setting up the profile, please reply to this message.

You can change the side keys to your preferences. Click options, click screen/keyboard. Scroll down most of the way and you will see left right convenience keys. Click on the option and change it to profiles. Click again to save the changes.

  • Divert the blackBerry Smartphones Vary certain number of rings before answering machine

    Hello

Can someone tell me how I set the number of rings (currently 3) so I have the chance to answer my phone before it transfers to your voicemail.

    Thank you

The above command works well if you know your carrier codes, if not the easiest method is to simply call your operator and ask a ringtime longer. 30 seconds is normally the maximum on most carriers.

  • BlackBerry smartphones increase the number of rings

Hello... I tried to find a way to increase the number of rings on my blackberry 8330 with no luck. When I go into the profiles, Advance, etc... I can change the number of vibrations, but I can't seem to find an option to increase the number of times that my phone is ringing. It sounds only 3 times for me now and I often find that I can't not to him pretty quickly.

You can have the time before the call goes to extended VM by calling your carrier.

By default, the carrier assigned to 15 seconds, you can take up to 30 seconds.

    Welcome to the BB community...

Use Curve 9300 n in this when the phone rings, if I press the trackpad, the stop ring (maybe too much work for your model of BB)... best way to stop ringing if suddenly your phone starts ringing at a place where it shouldn't sound...

Next, you can put your BB "vibrate" mode by pressing the "Q" for 1 second and to change to the previous mode, simply press the 'Q' again for 1 sec...

  • Settings for blackBerry Smartphones save BB before you perform the deletion of security

Hello, we are heading to an environment of internal e-mail to Microsoft Online Services hosted email. I understand the process that all BlackBerry users will have to do a wipe of security before the reactiving of their devices. What is the best way for users to save/keep their settings before they perform the security wipe? Is it only possible to do this via the Desktop Manager? I ask because not all of our users have / use the Desktop Manager. Thanks for any help on this!

Right. Using the feature of backup and restore in the Desktop Manager is the only option for you I think. Could not set the Desktop Manager on a shared drive that everyone has access to for them to install it?

If you were using a BES I suggest using the BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager because you can configure it to allow anyone to access it from your intranet

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Op sys., Office Automation, ringe

I don't know if this is where I should post this.  I had my used BB and did not have the cd for the desktop software, etc.  BB wrote:

    V4.2.2.176 (Platform 3.0.0.79)

I would like to download the appropriate software, but there are so many options on the Verizon site.  I run Vista on my laptop.  Can someone direct me to which software to download?

My BB software is up to date?  I read a forum to be able to set the ringtone, it is stronger, but you should only use the 4.5 software.  I really need one to have a strong ringtone that I have hearing problems and can not hear the classic ring, unless it's right in front of me.

    This forum rocks.

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

The only thing you missed your model number display, but you said Verizon, so assuming it's a 8830?

The latest OS for the 8830 is displayed here.

For the Director of office, download version 4.7, without media software.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones enhancement request: ability to ring 'default' by type of notification on alert Contact

I love my new 9700 but I have enormous frustration and looking at the comments of others that I met today it seems I'm not the only one.

My problem is with the 'new' added when you set up an alert to Contact. I've been using a curve and the only option was a ringtone custom for phone calls, now when I activate a Contact have a custom it alert automatically grabs all types of message, it is a huge problem for me.

I like the feature, but the implementation goes against productive as it is designed.

First of all, messages must be detailed by type as they are under profiles, you must each defined Messaging service, as well as mms, PIN, sms.

Second, each of these categories need to be able to set the tone by default profile, just as every other parameter in the contact alert can be defined in the default profile.

Is a huge control and puzzle for me because I have forwarding rules on our BES that takes some emails depending on the subject and students at priority level 1, but now I hear is more my level 1 ringtone, it's completely productive contrary to one of the best features of the Blackberry, the ability to filter and change the emails through the rules!

You can set a distinctive ring for this contact, the ringing of messages, so your custom phone ringing is not the same thing as ring customized to the messages of the same contact.

I see your other suggestions. RIM has indicated. [email protected]

Go to the icon options > status and press menu > database sizes. About 500 k should be included here. I'm guessing that you have pictures/ringtones/other media on the device and using your free memory. You have a memory card? If so, try to move all your media to the map itself to release the memory.
