  I am trying to buy a few apps through app world. I have the paypal account, but every time I try to buy something. I get this error:

  I found this post that explains how to fix at the top of the error. I'll try that later because I have something to say in this post.

  what I'm trying to ask in this post, that's why can't buy apps using my debit card? I see that two options are credit cards and Paypal. It's honestly very few options for a device management company wide world like Blackberry.

  I live in India and honestly, there are several features of Blackberry that make me say WTF.. ?

  1. Low autonomy (1230 mAh) - honestly, making mobile a little thicker for a good battery life would have been better.
  2. Cannot use my internet network, which is cheap, on my Mobile.
  3. Even though I have BIS, that the internet can't access my laptop. I need to have more internet network also.

  I have the same questions... I have had no problem before now to buy apps... using the same payment method each time. As far as I know, there are also others going through the same thing. I, too, turned on these support forums since World BB does not service the customer that is unique.  The people here have always been very useful and I hope that this instance is no different. If you are running on a "fix" for this problem, could you please send me a note... I'll do the same thing. Thanks, and I hope that this issue is resolved quickly.

  BREAKTHRU... at least for me... I hope that it might work for you, as well. I kept going through the questions/solutions here and other places and kind of tried a mish mash. Here are the steps I've lived and worked:

  * I have cleared the cache on Blackberry World, following instructions for playbook... There are different ways to erase it depending on your device.

  * Then, I deleted the cache and cookies on my browser and restarted my tablet... don't know if helped... but done anyway.

  * When everything started upward, I pulled up the Blackberry World and shot options of investment (which could eventually be consulted) and he showed my card correct information.

  * Although he gave me a chance to enter my credit card information, I was a little leery on this subject... so I decided to go and try to buy the application with the information, he must already have been stored... and everything worked FINALLY!

  I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

  1. open the App World

  2. go to my world

  3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

  3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

  3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

  3 c for the most recent (e, g., OS6 and 7) BB s, see this KB:

  4 AppWorld must close.

  5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

  6. return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it can be slow, while it re - sync).

  If (4) stage arrives not as described, then the empty the cache failed.

  I hope it'll work for you! If this isn't the case, then please be 100% certain that you use the same references to BB ID/AppWorld exact (username, password) that you have used when you got originally these apps. Changing a different ID to BB would be the only way for the records being lost, because they remain with the BB ID, not with the device itself.

  I had a curve since 2008. I got a newer curve in January when I renewed my Verizon contract. I am extremely disappointed by the general slugishness of the phone. I thought that it would be better than my old curve with freeze ups, white screens, the "eception exception" and "illegal action" messages / freeze ups and it was for a while. Then, a few weeks ago I received a message about an upgrade of the system I did and now I'm back to the same problems as my old curve - freeze ups, white screens, sudden resets, having to get a battery out frequently, browser very slow speed, downtimes, etc... Added trouble to just upgrade to the way I navigate screens at home with the means the screens are distributed in all the icons, frequently used icons, Favorites, etc. The update comes to increase my frustration with my Blackberry in general. My problems are unique to my phone alone. Other people tell me that their BB has similar problems. Are we just a bad thing? At this point, I will not buy another BB and unfortunately I do not recommend BB to friends if they ask how I love my curve.

  I can't tell you with certainty how to spot a fake, but in response to your question, my Storm has a label under the battery. She is white, about 1 "wide by 3/4" in height. It has a barcode and a UL mark. As well as many other texts. Made In is the Canada. I can't tell you if all storms have this lable - only my Storm has this label.

I scoured all messages from paypal, received confirmation emails (starting from paypal and bb app world), the app seemed to be for download on the phone so much and then red text appeared under it and read "purchase not found". I checked today our bank online statement and the 39.99 has been deducted. I contacted the manufacturers of IM + and received no response. I did not receive a license number, nothing. So... what should I do? Also when I tried to contact support, he kept saying my PIN was invalid...? I put exactly what was shown in options-> State. Thank you guys so much.

  I thought about it! I went into the app and tried to buy it again because the purchase option reappeared as if by magic. When I came home to the login screen of paypal that he told me that I had already bought this app and return to my world and select the log in option.
