BlackBerry smartphones can depend on Wireless sync

I can't turn on my sync wireless for my curve 8330. I can see the option, but it doesn't let me go to it to turn it on. I need help...

Give him the time of synchronization, which cannot immediately synchronize on demand, it synchronizes with the time, I know from experience.

I use a Blackberry Tour 9630 with Verizon. When I use the browser of BB and go to m.google.com/sync, it is impossible to download the application. I posted this problem on a Google Help forum, and another user commented that the application will download for IE or Mozilla either.

My gmail works, but I can't sync contacts gmail or google calendar.

Is there a way to make this work?

I found a solution in the following forum: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Calendar/thread?fid=0fdc51b229fbe6df000480ec40abf2c9&hl=en

    1. download the GoogleSync_40_en.zip zip file

    2. with BB Desktop Manager, open Application Loader and browse to find the folder of GoogleSync_40_en (uncompressed).

    3. Add to Applications and updating your visit of BB.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can depend on phone... cannot turn off phone. Is this a battery problem?

Hi, I was happily using my Blackberry 8310 for the last year and 5 months without problem. In a week or two after I installed the new version of the OS 4.5 there I began to encounter a problem with my phone. He started just shutting down on its own and I was not able to turn it back on without removing the battery. At first, I thought it was the battery... It shows a full battery on the screen but sometimes if I use the web browser the battery life drops lby 25%. I took the battery out and placed in a friend's phone, and his phone has taken forever to initialize. After about 5 minutes his phone in less than a minute his phone is off too. The strange thing is that my battery always shows that it is fully charged. He never done until the Red level until the phone turns off. I also can not turn off the phone once I do started again. So, I went to AT & T, and immediately they told me that I had to buy a new phone... what happened to offer technical support? Anyway, I'm not able to buy a new phone after shelling out $ 250 for this phone and although I wanted to get insurance at the moment where I bought the phone that told me that Blackberry offered insurance more. It's funny enough now, they are. If it's a battery problem I can buy a new battery if anyone has experienced this kind of problem?

I guess, at first thought, that the battery meter in the BlackBerry is off sync to the battery.

Here's some good advice from loading, please read and you will see that many of them will be applicable to you.
    http://www.blackberrynews.com/2008/05/20/battery-use-tips-for-your-maximum-battery-life/

See section on charge it fully and to exhaust the battery 3 x now.

If that does not erase a part, I suggest a new battery. The batteries can go wrong with the wire of time, although 5 to 6 months should not be a problem.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can depend on Wi - Fi radio to connect to the Wi - Fi on Blackberry Bold 9780

I can't turn on the wireless radio. I've tried a soft and hard reset nothing helps. When I click on Wi - Fi under 'Manage connections', him the tick disappears in a few seconds. Any suggestions that I can do to turn on the Wi - Fi radio while I am then able to connect using Wi - Fi connection?

I've seen this happen before, and in most cases, it is a hardware failure. Might be time to replace the unit.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not complete calendar Sync with BB Desktop Upgrade new

Completed the installation of BlackBerry Desktop Software Version 7.0.0.43.

Started the software and checked the settings to sync Organizer as indicated by the software.

    Starts synchronization.

Software began with obtaining State of the BlackBerry calendar information, then went to obtaining status of Outlook calendar information, and I think it's the reading of all records (several thousand) based on the record, but this version has them spend if fast, that I don't see the total amount before the next phase.

Software begins to read the records, then stops at the 346 folder, and an Error Message appears:

    Sync error

Save with the specified Id (FFFFC4DC) not found.

Organizer synchronization does not complete and the software will Add-Ins (if synchronize all had been chosen), othwise, it stops right and displays the window summary - data organizer - complete, as if he had actually finished all the steps correctly.

    What should I do?

    Thank you.

Well, I finally got back to normal by removing the BlackBerry Desktop Software updated and re - install version 6.1, which is available on the Web from BlackBerry site.

I'll wait until the next review came out a month before the upgrade again.

Thank you, JohnloveshisBB, elload and these people who have posted.

For those who got the new version to work, good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can not access Media card with BB Desktop or Media Sync 9700

The other day I received a Reburbed Bold 9700 update.

I use Ver 6 Deskstop OS and the 9700 is running device code latest version 5.

I have a Kingston 4 GB media card that I know is in place because the 9700 recognizes it and when I go to files and select the media card, I can see all the files on the card and when I take a picture it is written on the card so I know that memory is very good and he sees the 9700.

The problem I have is BB Deskstop or latest version of Media Sync to see so I can transfer files to and from my PC and the media card.

The error message that I receive on the two applications, it's that I have to turn on mass storage Mode.  When I look at my memory settings:

    Compression - enabled

Map of media Support - on

Mass Storage Mode Support - on

Auto enable mass storage Mode when connected - Yes

I formatted the card successfully on the BB.

I tried another card memory (2 GB) and also properly formatted as well.

I also tried another USB cable into another USB port.

I had a BB hard reset by pulling on the battery... several times.

I had another before Blackberrys and have never had a problem of access to the media card.  I would have thought that it is easier on the 9700.

I did search endlessly on the Web and saw other people with similar problems but many were so simple that the card is not seated properly and it also had the symptom that the BB is not recognizing the media card.  My BB recognize media cards and use them, but I can't access the card through my PC.  I understand that I may not see a pendrive pop up in Windows Explorer, but I can't understand why the BB Desktop or Media Sync cannot access.

I know that both of these applications communicate to the BB cause I get requests for passwords and the desktop, I can view all my applications and I used to update the device until the last OS level during the troubleshooting process.

I just wanted to see if anyone has experience this problem and has tips, if not I will contact AT & T or go into a local store to see if they can help.  I just think I'm missing something that I can take care off instead of my own.

    Thank you!

    Hello

Have you tried to connect the device on another computer?  If another computer to recognize the device, it may just be a case of bad USB drivers on your computer.

Here are some KB articles that may be able to help:

KB19717 - BlackBerry smartphone is not detected as a USB mass storage device when connected to a computer

KB10312 - impossible to display the map of support using the BlackBerry smartphone

You also need to remove the USB ports on your computer (using Device Manager), and then restart the computer to reload the correct drivers.

An alternative to this is to simply use a microSD card reader which allows you to use the microSD as a flash drive.

I hope that this info is another starting point for you!

Hello and welcome to the community!

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not update AppWorld 907 invalid COD

Search and download your OS and everything above applies

    By sdgardne

    However, here's what I propose...

The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    (1) make sure you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find complete instructions via the link in my sig auto below. (It's probably debatable given the errors you have... it is likely that your data are already parts of your device, which means that you must now rely on a backup you took before that happened.)

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

You can also study the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe what he is capable.

You can also try the "skeleton OS Reload procedure" in an attempt to circumscribe the precise causal element:

    1. Load your OS "bare bones"... If everything is optional, do not install it.
    2. If the behavior is immediately, then try another OS with step 1
    3. If the behavior does not immediately, then run for as long as necessary to make you to be sure that the behavior will not occur.
    4. Add one more thing - no matter how tempting, one.
    5. If the behavior does not immediately present, and then runs for long enough to be sure he won't have the same problem
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are responsible or the behavior presents

When the behavior shows up, you know the culprit... the last thing you have loaded.

If the behavior doesn't re-present, then you know that step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior has anything, then you have probably a problem of material level for which no amount of OS or software can heal.

You may also use these tips:

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can I recover my blackberry protect data backup on a Mac?

My blackberry 9360 a curve was stolen a few days ago, I never it synced with my computer but I still saved on blackberry protect and I can access my data if I go to protect.blackberry.com and login with my blackberry ID. I see that my backup files exist but I can't download them and I can't get a new blackberry at the moment but I really need all my contacts and phone numbers, is anyway that I could retrieve this information on my macbook?

    Hello

BB Protect backup files are only single use... to restore to a BB device. It has no other use of them. Where the reason for which this BB Protect is a component very well to a good backup, but in no case should be considered to be the only component.

If you can access another BB, even for a short period, you can restore it and then save it on your computer, from which you can get 3rd party applications to extract the local backup data in human readable format. However, I've never heard of these tools for MAC... but also, I don't look for MAC stuff.

If you don't try this (restoration of BB Protect for an another BB), you must be very careful... to refer:
