BlackBerry smartphones can not remove photo after using bbm

I had a picture I sent with BBM. After that discussion identified and ended I tried to remove the photo but keeps saying file is in use. I tried again and again remove including power off the power and remove the battery for a few minutes then try again but still no luck. It becomes very frustrating because it should no longer be "in use".

Solutions or ideas would be greatly appreciated

OK, come back to your home screen, press the Menu key > change application.

In this Ribbon bar, you see the 'pictures' or the media icon, which if clicked, display the picture?

Somewhere, it must be open.

You are connected to the USB cable to the PC?

How are you trying to delete a message that you can't find? I don't understand this.

Tips to clear the message unread... try them in the order.

If you have a new icon rogue Message on your home screen, or a negative number (-1), one of these solutions could erase or reset:

    Try these options:
    * Hard Reset BlackBerry now ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or with the BlackBerry power, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)
    Messages > saved Messages
Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
    * Scroll at the top of the folder, on the title menu, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN date
Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)
    * Clean and reload your OS.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not remove 1 remaining phone journal - Call Log NOT updated entry

Hello. I have a Bold 9000. My phone call log is is more updated. I have 1 old handwriting on the paper that I can't remove.

I tried to spend too many Messages, display folder, phone call logs, but it comes back with "Eception exception: java.lang.NullPointerException." I get the same message at boot to reset (drums),

Option / status / watch 50 MB of free file is not a memory problem.

It's very frustrating. If I can't sort out is there no way to uninstall & reinstall the software on the BB?

    Thanks, Altaf

    Hello.

I'm sorry I failed you early especially after taking the time to provide me with a solution.

First of all, I did what you asked and managed to clear the logs of the phone call (by selecting this line under databases) of advanced DTM. I was not sure if you meant that (historical clear calls) when you said "Click on the database on the RHS and click the Clear button" or that you wanted to say more.

I had to make 2 passes through it. The 1st time, it says that there are 20 entries in the log (I saw that one on my phone). After the clearer, I went back to my phone and the entrance was still there but a DTM Advanced phone log said there were 17 entries now. Then, I deleted the newspaper again and this time it was the desired effect!

I also removed the battery with the unit on. The message "Eception Java lang... "disappeared now.

I thank very you much for helping me.

From the moment wherever they gave me a BB "BOLD" of my company, I realized how good it was. It is simple and intuitive in use and much faster and without fault compared to many other PDA/Smartphones I've used. I liked it so much, I bought one for me!

    Best wishes

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can not remove grayed files after you turn off the WiFi sync

I got sync music WiFi on, but after I left the proximity of my WiFi, there more grayed out 1,000 entered the path of my browsing in the 100 or if the files that are available locally on the device.

Then I turned off sync music Manager Office, but even after many cycles of connection/disconnection between BB & USB WiFi, all these files in gray are always in the way on the music of the BB icon tag navigation interface.

How can I uninstall this feature? Otherwise, how could I make my icon music works as he did, not broken by WiFi-sync as it is now?

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not upload photos on my PC

The instructions in the User Guide for the photo upload is not quite miserably as they get further and further from reality.

    Lists of tasks such as:

Navigate to a folder that contains media files.
    5. turn on highlight a media file.
    6. press the Menu key.
    7. click on move.
    8. navigate to the new location.
    9. click on a folder.
    10. click on move here.

Doesn't really help me to spend 30 or 50 photos to my PC. And I can't seem to find any help elsewhere in the guide.

Someone suggested using the USB cable and find some removable drive is my BB. But I no longer get a separate program, called "Blackberry user tools" or if I try the "Explorer", I can't find where the images are stored. So I can't do a simple transfer BACK to the PC.

The help file with the Desktop Manager gets even more strange. He suggests Media Manager and clicking on "Start," then I'm supposed to get a good view of two panels with folders in the left panel, I think, my images in the Panel on the left called "folders". But I get the message that there is no media, and in fact, he seems to focus exclusively on my PC, not the BB. How to make so that he could watch the BB cannot sort.

It seems really strange to me that this is not easy, but I know?

    Thank you.

    Don.

Hello, please see these useful articles that deal with the different ways to manage the files of the user on a BB. While they have perhaps written for earlier versions of DTM and/or BB OS, you should still be able to use them to configure correctly to use your BB as a set of USB drives on your PC, thus allowing any methodology of Windows Explorer: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Desktop-Software/HOWTO-use-your-blackberry-as-a-US... http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/How_do_I_add_media_files_to_my_microSD_card%3F good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not synchronize correctly after the 4.5 upgrade

I have a Pearl 8100 and just updated to 4.5 v. I didn't know anything about the updates specific to the provider and just updated directly from Blackberry.com. Now when I try to sync (I use Outlook 2003 via Desktop Manager v4.2.0.14) he wants to add all my appointments from Outlook - but they are still on my BB. If I complete the synchronization I have duplicates of EVERYTHING. In addition, most (but not all) of the 'all day' events on my BB became 12:00 A - 11:59 P events instead of just an entry all day at the top of the day. I continue to cancel synchronization, so I can't even imagine what would happen if I'm as much that synchronize my address book.

I looked in my Desktop Manager software update, but I can't back up because I can't synchronize (although I backed up my entire Outlook file, so I guess I have backed up). I also watched by uninstalling v4.5, but indications that I found on one another detachment said to remove the upgrade to add/remove programs and it wasn't there. I know that I'm not an expert in this stuff, but I feel very lame.

I'm also irritated some images that accompanies my Pearl disappeared. I used their background. I read on other assignments that these images are not in the new software - but why they have been removed?

    What should I do?

for images: you can see otherwise: the pictures have never been published except for OS 4.2 and 4.3 of the OS. You can search the Web, maybe someone will be stored somehow in the form of images and not as an application.

on the backup: this has nothing to do with the timing.
a backup is a file that contains all data on your device. It cannot be used at all except for a full restore of the databases. You should be able to make a backup.

for the calendar: are all the events in Outlook? If so, you can delete the calendar on your device database (using the right Fund Manager Panel) and then synchronize Outlook calendar.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not transfer photos to the memory of the device to the PC

I'm unable to transfer photos from my BB 9630 Tour device memory to my computer using a USB connection.  I don't have a media card.

When I click on Media Sync > Photos in Desktop version 6.0.1.18 software, I receive the following error message:

    "Media services are not available."

    Storage media is not available.

"Please check a memory card is correctly installed on your BlackBerry device and mass storage mode is running.

Seeking advice, it appears that in previous versions of Desktop Manager, it was possible to transfer photos directly from the device to a PC without having to move the pictures to a memory card.  Is this not possible with version 6?

Have you tried without going through the Desktop software and instead use mass storage Mode?

Don't know what is an email RX?  You can open that message and scroll to the top then provide information listed in there, for example by using: XXX, folder: XXX, status: XXX.

Did you try to reset your handset, such as remove and reinsert the battery without turning it off.

If it's one of the corrupted message, you can summer use Desktop Manager to remove the database of the entire message.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can not remove two emails - HELP

I have a TOUR 9630 for about a year and was able to remove e-mail messages without problem... with the exception of two who will not erase!

I tried everything and I can't delete these two messages for some reason any... I tried to remove it from my laptop correctly, but they still appear on my 9630... can someone help me get rid of these two boring emails that just sit on my blackberry... look at me...

    Thank you

Hmm.... are they emails otherwise quite normal?
When you tap on Delete on one of them, what is happening... it asks you to confirm the deletion on the handheld or the server?

Did you restart the BlackBerry to see if that removes them?

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send photos to FB

I used to always be able to take a picture, press the BB button, select share or send, select Facebook. But now when I do and select share or send, there is only the option of contact Email, MMS or Messengar. Not facebook.

I still have facebook on my phone. Didn't something on my phone again. He worked one day, and now it is not.

Does anyone know how to fix? Please help if you do. Thank you

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

In addition, you could try FaceBook removal and reinstallation.

Honestly, I gave up on FB photos direct download. Instead, I got my email address (from FB) personal upload and I now only send photos to FB via this e-mail rather than direct download. Much more flexible and more reliable, I found. For more, making e-mail makes a sort of background on the BB, which allows me to move to other things, then the sending of the email.

    Best!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not attach photo to e-mail

If I start an email then go to attach file menu out to the camera, it won't allow me not photo (it opens it but no option to attach or return to the e-mail address).   It worked perfectly on my old Pearl.  The only way I can send picture on the 8900 is to go to the email menu and the first camera.  Am I missing something?

Hey, I thought of her.  Sorry, I should have posted earlier to close the issue.

E-mail, select attach a file, and then select Media Card (not the device - it's where I spoil)

    so:

    Fix the support files/card/Blackberry/pictures/IMG

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not remove stubborn contacts on my Blackberry

Hello - I just got a new Blackberry - converted during a Treo (Windows). I had all sorts of difficulties to get my contacts and calendar first moved on my Mac and moves in sync with the Mac issues, so now I'm using Blackberry Desktop on a PC with Outlook. My problem is that I deleted the database of addresses using the backup/restore function so that I could start with a clean address book import, and I have about 20 contacts on my pocket computer that I can't get rid of. I tried the process several times. I can highlight in the address book and select 'Delete', but your handheld will just ignore the command. I can open the contact and modify it, but when I try to save it, I get a message that says "updated to the outside address. Changes will be lost and the viewer will be closed. »

Is it possible to get rid of these addresses? I now duplicates for these addresses, because OUtlook does not recognize that they are already in my pocket.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Only other thing I can think is to wipe the device. If you want to make a backup of your device first, go to the backup and restore | Backup copy. Then, on the device, go to Options | Security options | Settings General, hit the menu button, choose wipe Handheld. This will clear all data from the device. Later, you can return to the backup and restore | Advanced to select certain databases to restore. If you just go in the restoration, and then he would probably bring back corrupted in the AddressBook entries.
