  Recently my Torch 9800 has decided to show only 1/3 of the screen when I check messages or SMS. Is there a toolbar of the message locked in place 2/3 of the way to the top of the screen and nothing but white underneath.   I can't understand how to send photos or video via a text message.  Can I receive, and I know that my service allows me to send it, because I had my parents added to my plan (AT & T family plan) and they can also send photos with their phones from wal-mart for $10.  Whenever I have search the Internet how to do this, they show screen phone calls with the menu that lists several options for how send a photo, and one of them is text.  My phone does not have this option if, whenever I hit send on a picture my only three options are e-mail, bluetooth and Tag (don't know exactly what it is, but when you select it says to place the back of the two phones together, is not an option in SMS language).  In addition, nowhere in my menu when composing a text find an option to add attachments. so I can send them this way or the other.

  I found the solution!

  After a suggestion on another forum that the problem may be caused by a magent (phone case, built car megnetic, phone support, ect) I removed the Steelie magnetic car holder I had attached to my phone at the front desk, and now the phone works perfectly again. For the moment

  So to the other posters, maybe your question was caused by a megnet so. Something to keep in mind.

• BlackBerry Smartphones PRIV - Notes will not save text up to the first synchronization

  I have a Priv of Blackberry that is synched to Office Outlook 2013 professional my desktop, running on Microsoft Exchange.

  A month ago I started having problems with the synchronization of Notes between my mobile and Outlook.  It seems that any text I key in a Note on my private will be kept until the first synchronization with Outlook, if yes or no I typed 'Done '.  Can I add text to a note for a long period of time and wait until I'm completely done for tap 'Done' or tap "Done" after a short period of time and then come back in the Note to continue editing.  It does not matter.  No matter what the text has been given in the first few minutes (up to what I assume is the first synchronization) is the only text that will be retained.

  I don't have a problem with whole Notes that are created on my desktop is properly synchronized to my priv.

  I have no problems with Mail, calendar, Contacts or tasks synchronization.

  My synchronization interval is set to "automatic (Push).

  While responding not to the root cause, I seem to have a solution.

  As a first step, our technology people suggested I have delete the account and add it in again.

  That seems to have done the trick.  Since last night, all my Outlook applications are synchronization correctly, in both directions

  There seems to be a hardware problem... have u tried a reboot of your BB battery pull, if you have not then try it once... If the problem persists, I recommend you to visit a centre of Service of BB and they have a quick glance at your question...

  OK, so I realized that my messgs were accidentally deleted the previous night, so this isn't a problem now. But my time text & still date messed up. Time & correct date on the phone. The text messgs., time on my outgoing txts is OK, but incoming texts times are off by at least 2 hours & the date shows Saturday, February 27, 2049 (today). So weird! Someone has an idea?

  I went again online looking for a solution & solved my problem! I had tried to take the battery before, not helping. But found a post that suggested to delete all text messages before removing the battery. So after all the messages of compensation & remove the battery, my time & date on texts is correct. I hope this will help someone else who may have the same problem.

  Using BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.3.0.17, BlackBerry Curve on Verizon.

  If I put a picture of the home screen (wallpaper), when I synchronize with Desktop Manager, the homescreen image gets always reset the default image for the theme. No matter what topic it is - BB integrated by default or Verizon one that accompanies it - the image is always set to zero by default.

  Here's the little interesting:

  1. I put the image of the home screen to something specific to the topic.
  2. I do a sync and see the image of the home screen to reset.
  3. I go to the B theme and define the image of the homescreen to something specific.
  4. I do a sync and see the image of the home screen to reset.
  5. I return to A theme without changing anything, and the image of the specific home screen, I initially put in step 1 is back in place.

• BlackBerry Smartphones to half black screen?

  I recently discovered that the lower 1/3 of my blackberry curve screen is black with black horizontal lines going through it. It done all that it can be difficult to read and write. I was told to take out the battery, but it did not work. IM in touch with t mobile and but I don't have insurance on the phone, I got it for less than a year while I'm guaranteed and it will come under warranty? Please help, very frustrated

  Certainly a hardware problem, the phones under the rights of consumers must last the life of the contract, however if there is no sign of chips, scratches, water etc damage then they used to replace as you have not taken reasonable care of your purchase

  You want to hide these text Messages from your main message box or your Emails were not filling in your main Inbox?

  Have you tried a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your unit is powered! Please try it out.
