BlackBerry Smartphones charger no longer works

I had my playbook since December and yesterday I went to load my playbook by using the wall charger supplied with the charger and it is cool.  Does anyone know if Blackberry will replace the charger?  If so how can I go about it?

Make sure that it is the charger and not a problem with the USB port ON the PlayBook?

Connect to your PC using a USB cable... Open the BlackBerry Desktop Software. You show the connected PB?

But yes, to dial your number of warranty service.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Whatsapp no longer works at random

I have a Blackberry "BOLD" of 3 which is old. Recently, I am facing problems with Whatsapp. I don't have the package mobile data and use my wi - fi for Whatsapp that never gave me any problems in the past. Recently, Whatsapp stops at random to work even if my internet browser works very well, so there is no problem with connectivity. Hello

How do you uninstall and then put it back, it's probably the best way to go about it. If this doesent work then it could be interference in the software of your phone, try it flashes, there are tools that you can easily use for this.

  • BlackBerry smartphone Email no longer works after the transfer to the new phone

I turned on the weekend in a phone of the company on my own phone.  At the dealership, they used the BB SW Office to cross all the information of the previous phone into the new.  Everything went through fine, except my Blackberry e-mail address.  I was able to set up a Gmail account without problem, everything works fine, but I can't get the Blackberry email address ([email protected]) works correctly.  This is a valid email address, I used until few days back.  I tried to add the e-mail manually, but he claims that the email address or password are incorrect.  I tried to request a new e-mail address of BB, but the same as the one used, and the answer came back that I can't use this address as he is already taken (I know - it's mine).  I have a support call in and spent almost 2 hours trying different things with them, but so far without success.  I would be grateful if anyone has any ideas on how to solve this problem.

    ViciousFerret,

Thanks for your reply, but that has now been resolved.  I called support Blackberry again Tuesday and was related to a person who really understands the problem.  Finally, there are two problems.  (1.) that the email address was always associated with the old phone; (and 2.) When they put in the new phone service, they did for two service providers - SaskTel, as he should have, but also of Bell, which should never have been there.  Once they removed the provisioning for Bell, everything worked fine.

Thanks a lot for all the help.  I was able to wipe the device and reload the operating system.  Everything works fine now.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Get app world works... the 8520 using a mac...

Help me please! I tried everything, I just bought a BlackBerry 8520, v5.0.0.681 (Platform 5.2.0.67) and I was so happy, but now I do not know... I can't get anything to work... well ok, I can call and send SMS messages... but I was expecting a little more

I can not install the app world, I really tried to find solutions before writing, but I can't find anything that helps...

I tried first on the mobile; It has installed but says something about an unsupported version, so I uninstalled the app...

then I tried with the desktop software, it gives me this message: BlackBerry Desktop Software could not validate your update to the BlackBerry device. Aborting installation because of the failure of the validation. Some packages contained unsatisfied dependencies...

    If I'm going to try one the web, I get this message after choosing the stem;

Hello and welcome to the community!

Your BB OS is outdated... you need to update... the current version is 5.0.0.1036. Here's what I recommend... Since you are on MAC, which makes it a bit more difficult that the sets of tools to deal with things are much more limited on MAC:

    (1) properly uninstall the RIM desktop software:

    • KB18771 Install and uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software on a Mac computer

    (2) obtain a new download of the RIM Desktop software:

    (3) install the software on your MAC Desktop

    • KB18771 Install and uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software on a Mac computer

    (4) now run the Desktop software, connect your BB when prompted and perform a clean reload of your BB OS, choose the most recent version that it offers (if all goes well, 5.0.0.1036):

    • KB19915 Perform a clean reload of software applications smartphone BlackBerry using BlackBerry Desktop Software on a Mac computer
    • If you have no data on the BB that concern you, and then simply proceed with this update. If you have data on the BB, do not agree that the update and first perform a manual backup of your BB to your Mac. After the update, you may need to restore from this backup (update COULD take a backup itself and restore for you).

    (5) close the Desktop software and unplug your BB when it's all over.

Now, you must do these steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! Good luck and let us know!

    Can someone help me please?

    Hello!!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

If no, then you will probably need to perform a clean OS reload... something in the update of the operating system that you have done have been damaged.

For that matter, there is no software that can overcome the fact that your model does not have a receiver of FM radio inside. Only some models which, and so only they can get the FM radio service... see this:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Opera4 does not work on my Storm 9500

I installed on my Storm 9500 OM4, but when opening it shows ' the Mini Oper application attempted to access a network connection to low altitude. Hello

One thing you left was how you have responded to the message you received. Did say you Yes or no? Twice?

In any case, it may be that your BB, which I assume that you have purchased 2nd hand, did not properly prepare for your use by the previous owner. Please see the bulletin:

  • BlackBerry smartphones is no longer able to sync Curve 8520 to Outlook

For some reason any when I try to sync my phone to outlook, I get the window saying: synchronization of data followed by another window saying please select one or more items to synchronize.  The contacts and calendar are selected and I have not changed anything, everything that I had to leave the country for a few days and now I'm back the synchronization no longer works.

When I go to the tab of the Organizer, calendar and contacts are checked, but when I click Configure I get an error message, this could it be part of the problem?

Thanks for any help I have tried various things (stop and restart the computer, the phone, trying to enter the Configuration menu, etc.) for the last hour, nothing helps.

  • BlackBerry smartphone WiFi does not work most of the time

It's like a broken record, I know, but my WiFi does not (most of the time).  It used to work well, but over time he works less and less! I use v5.0.0.979 (bundle 1607, the 5.1.0.177 platform and a Bold 9700)  I get the Green checkmarks for connections and WiFi and a white WiFi icon options.  If I try to use the browser of BalckBerry he started working in WiFi and I can see the blue WiFi on my router shows the data flow and then everything stops in for WiFi is concerned and after a period of time, it either expires or most likely to connect to the 3G network.  I used to (a 3 or 4 months) work just fine, but now very poor.  I tried another router and has the same problem.  I found no solution in the forum that makes my 9700 working properly.  If I connect to the weather apps Bug or Thomson Reuters. WiFi works great, load fast and I can see the data on my router blink indicating data streams, but whenever I use the BlackBerry browser, it won't work!  Crazy!

I found the same thing as automatic power switch at night is interfering with connections no matter what I did. So I stopped using it and it works fine now manually turn it off. Not much extra actually works!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Desktop Manager no longer works

I use Desktop Manager 4.7 with a Blackberry "BOLD"; I sync with Outlook 2007 and I am running Windows Vista SP1. For the first weeks, the Sync worked well, but now I find that after one or two successful synchronization, Desktop Manager fails to halfway through synchronisation of the calendar entries. I tried every solution I could find on the web, namely:

    • Uninstalling and reinstalling Desktop Manager, making sure that I run the installer as administrator.
    • My Blackberry wiping and reinstalling the operating system (I use 4.6.0.365)
    • Delete the Intellisync folder
    • Run scanpst on my Outlookpst file
    • Clear the entries of calendar on the Blackberry

The latter is the only approach that has produced no results. If I delete the entries on the Blackberry, the

synchronization process adds correctly, and the next time I run the synchronization, it works without a hitch. If I try to run it a third time, however, Desktop Manager crashes again and the only way I can make it work is to clear the entries on the Blackberry and start over.

Please, please can someone help - it's so frustrating!
