BlackBerry smartphones delete all emails

Hey there. Someone knows a way I can delete all emails on

my BlackBerry without messing up the emails on my desktop?

I can't find a feature that lets select me all or delete all, etc..

Maybe I can't see the forest through the trees... Help, please.

Thank you!

The first thing first, you must set your device take when you delete the e-mail of the device does not remove on the desktop as well.

Go to your e-mail messages > click menu > scroll down to options > email reconciliation > change the DELETE option on: pocket.

Save your options.

Delete mail device then.

Is there anyway to select several emails for deletion at the same time - or do you have to work through one by one?

Hi and welcome to the forums!

If they are together, you can hold down the shiftkey and roll the cursor across them and then press DELETE.

You can go to date and click delete before and it will delete all emails before this date.

If you have interspersed the emails that you want to save, the best way is to go one by one and press the DELETE key on the ones you don't want.

    Welcome to the forums!

There are two ways that you can do.

    1. highlight a message, then press and hold down the SHIFT key.  Using the trackpad, drag upward or down to select multiple messages.  When you have selected messages, press the BB menu key, then tap on delete.

    2. to delete messages before a certain date, select a date field, press the BB menu button and then delete.

    Hi edaward68,

    1. When did you start to question?

    2. what exactly happens when you try to delete the mails?

    3. do you get error messages or error codes?

You can try to rename delete point .dbx and check:

    a. Click Start, point to find and then click files or folders.

    b. in the named, box type deleted item.dbx

    (c) in the area to look in, click on your main hard drive (usually drive C), and then click Find now.

    d. right-click on the deleted item.dbx file and then click Rename.

    e. type deleted item.dbxold, and then click ok.

    f. launch Outlook Express. This creates new files. Try to delete e-mails and check.

Note: You can try to create a new folder and move all messages from the Inbox, and delete items before you rename files.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • How can smartphones blackBerry I delete all my contacts?

    Hi all!

I just want to know if it is possible to delete all my contacts (on the phone memory) only once, because delete them one by one is a little annoying...

    Yeap this is possible.

Connect your device with BlackBerry desktop manager. Go to the black and restore-> Advanced-> on the right Board, you will see all the databases of device. Select Address Book - All and click clear.

  • BlackBerry Storm smartphones - delete all entries in the calendar?

Is there a way to delete all the entries in the calendar?  I had the storm and had a sync error Outlook.  Since then, I had a lot of duplicates.  Is there a way to erase everything?

    Thank you!

If you encounter errors in your calendar or address book on your BlackBerry and you want to delete the entire address book (or calendar) base on your BlackBerry, follow the instructions below. Make sure that you have a good copy of your calendar or Contacts, because this procedure will delete all the calendar entries or entries from the address book on your BlackBerry.

    1. open the Desktop Manager on your PC.

    2. open Backup/Restore > advanced.

    3. in Advanced Options, you will see a split pane screen. Left pain is what happens to save on your device and the right is a list of the existing databases.

3 select right your address book database (or your Calendar database), and then click the arrow in the Middle pointing to the left. This will copy the information on and prepare it for the backup.

    4. once the backup is complete, click the button Clear down to erase, and then clean up the database of book full address (or calendar).

    5. once it is finished, it will ask you if you want to save the backup that you created, say you Yes and check the device to make sure that the address book (or calendar) has been duly cleared out. Now, Resync the necessary contact details and you should be set to go.

  • Response of the blackBerry Smartphones can not email!

Suddenly, since I've updated my BB 8520, I find I can send and receive email - but do not answer them!  Any ideas as to why?

Hello and welcome to the community!

After updates or then get email of wobbly, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS configuration for these accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones are not emails

As of this morning, I receive emails on my phone.  I have two accounts e-mail set up on my phone and no one receives e-mails.  I know I should be because I get them on my laptop.  I can send emails from an account, but I can't receive them.  I contacted AT & T (my service provider) and they couldn't help me.  They gave me a number of support for Balckberry (877-255-2377), but I was unable to get through.

It's very very interesting... I suspect the one who talked you to ATT was not (I'll be gentle) adequate training. Contractually, end users have no way to try to contact BlackBerry directly for anything (well, not for free). Rather, the carrier should worsen your BlackBerry case and provide you more information (for example, a file number)... but just to give you a phone number means (I'm sorry), the person gave you att, because this isn't how the support system. And it's actually a bit surprising... all the reports I've heard indicate ATT to get a best trained support groups for BB to anyone... but maybe they skate.

In any case, if the above does not work, their ring upwards and insist that they solve it correctly. Emphasis first to be transferred to the personal support of BB dedicated ATT (I think they have such a group) because it is also a mandatory step before be remounted for BlackBerry (but correctly... not the way you describe).

    Good luck!
