BlackBerry Smartphones device transfer old BB again 9790 wizzard

Dear all,

Yesterday, I used the BB desktop software to transfer settings and other things from an old phone to a new device.

Now, I noticed that I don't get e-mail on one of the two accounts on the new device.

Both accounts are on the new phone and has all the emails until I put in place yesterday.

If I go into settings then mail, I have two options:

Internet e-mail

Behalf of the company

When I select Internet mail asked me to enter my BB ID. Something I don't have. I've never needed to do on my old BB.

I was in the host routing table and saved the aircraft and received an email to say the unit has been saved. I waited 2 hours, but still no new emails arrived. I did it by wifi and GSM

Carrier = SFR, I'm English, but please do not answer in French.

Model = 9790

OS = 7,0 Bundle 2254 (v7.0.0.528, platform 9.16.0.57)

There is no other apps installed otherwise than what it came out of the box.

Remvoing the battery did not help

I went to mobile.blackberry.com on the device, England selected as my country then it loads a page of connection in French

Can anyone offer advice on what I should do to get this working please?

Thank you

leontine

Léontine, you should now have a BlackBerryID on all BlackBerry devices, as a "unifying" all your BlackBerry device source, contact, AppWorld, Protect, etc.

On your 9790, go to Options > device > BlackBerryID to create a.

or here, from your PC: https://blackberryid.blackberry.com/bbid/createaccountstep2?i=3047013

Then, you may also need to call your mobile operator and ensure that they have implemented this new device with your BlackBerry data plan. They may need your PIN and IMEI code.

So I had an older curve, and now I have a brand new Curve 3 g.  The old phone is broken and I can't use the keyboard, but it remains recongizes the software when it is plugged in and I can load - that's why the data could not be transferred from my old phone to the new at the Verizon store.

  • BlackBerry Q10 transfer old data blackberry device BlackBerry 10 device, without old blackberry device again

    Hello
I recently bought a new BlackBerry Q10, I got a 9790 "BOLD" of BlackBerry OS 7 before that and I had backed it up in BlackBerry Desktop Software. I had no knowledge that BlackBerry 10 devices do not work with BlackBerry Desktop Software, so I sold my Bold 9790 and then bought a Q10. I need to retrieve all the data from my old 9790 "BOLD" to my Q10, but unfortunately does not work with BlackBerry Desktop Software Q10. If I download BlackBerry link it will ask to connect to my old camera to transfer files.

So basically, I need to transfer my old phone to the new backup file.
    Please help me. Thank you.

First of all, the device is released for more than a year and a half.  BlackBerry has put the information out there.  I easily found the information below with a quick Google search that brought up this article, KB33322

While it has not yet been updated in order to take account of the last update for the link, I made a few minor changes to the instructions to join the same options in the new version of the link.

Multimedia files stored on the internal memory of the device will be transferred if you check the box "Multimedia files stored on the internal memory."  Multimedia files stored under the content on the old appliance store will not.

    Here are the instructions:

    1. Connect the 10 BlackBerry smartphone to the computer via the USB cable.
    2. On the left side of the BlackBerry connection screen, click on the name of the smartphone BlackBerry 10.
    3. Select restore device > Legacy device backup files.
    4. Select the desired backup file.
    5. Select the data to be restored in the smartphone BlackBerry 10. To restore data to all supported, select the checkbox restore all data .  Choose the data to restore select Custom Restore.
Note: for a description of data BlackBerry smartphone, refer to KB03974.
    6. Click restore.

  • Update blackBerry Smartphones / Device Manager issue

Hey guys, I have a problem.

I recently acquired a Blackberry 8330 and let me start by saying this: it's one of the best machines I've ever held. It is simply amazing.

I installed the Device Manager and have been using it without any problem. Then, I went and did an update wireless with my phone, the upgrade of the OS. Since I did this, however, the Manager has recently stopped recognizing my device - my computer recognizes him again, as he charges when it is plugged in and I can always access to the hard drive, but for some reason, I cannot use the Device Manager to do anything - down, States in the Device Manager there is no trendy Black Berry as shown by the 'None' exposed next to the Pin number.

What can I do? I really need to access blackberry via the Device Manager. Someone, please help > _

    Things I've tried:

-Restart the Blackberry (both by pressing the red button and pull the battery and re insert)

-Update the device to the more recent version Manager

-The latest version is uninstalled, then download and install the version provided with the blackberry (4.2)

I noticed that the CD that came with the device itself does not contain the most recent edition of the Device Manager, if that means anything. It's just weird that the Device Manager has stopped working after I upgraded. Currently, my OS is V4.5.0.175. I've recently updated both my 8310 Black Berry - same question parents. Before, I could access it via Device Manager. Now, I can't. Please help me!

  • Question of blackBerry Smartphones on the old device PIN to a new transfer

    Hello
    I have a problem
I have a beautiful and unique phone number
But the device is too old it Bold 9000, and I want him to become a figure in the new device like the blackberry torch 9810

I want to solve this problem.

    Thank you

Huh, you want "him to become a figure in the new device"? What is of the him, your old PIN number?

If the "him" is your PIN, you should know that pine BlackBerry can be transferred from a device, they are unique identifiers that are hard coded to the unit at the factory.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones ONLY transfer Contacts between Blackberry's without all the data and settings again BB

Anyone know if there is a way ONLY to transfer all my contacts from one Blackberry to another Blackberry without transferring all the data and settings to the other Blackberry with the device switch Wizard?

Hi and welcome to the forums!

If you have a full backup of the old Blackberry, use this .ipd file to restore only the contacts on the new device.

If your contacts are up to date in Outlook do a one-way Outlook for contacts device synchronization.

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry Smartphones to transfer files from memory card to device memory

Hi... the subject seems pretty basic.

But when I plug my 8330 to a computer, I can access only files in the directory "Blackberry", which are files on the SD card.  I want to be able to access files / photos stored on the memory of the device.  I thought that to transfer the files from the device to the SD memory memory then would allow me to download on my computer

Someone knows how to do this?

    Thanks in advance.

Go to the media, press menu and Explorer, go to the memory of the device to locate the file, select the file menu, and then tap new and move

  • How can blackBerry smartphones, I transfer my phone date of my return from my old Nokia on computer for my BB?

Please help me I just a bought a BB curve and have all my content and data from my old phone which was a nokia saved on the computer and can't find a way to load everything on my new phone which is a bit frustrating because I like a minimum of 500 and it will manually be a killer?

  • Problems of blackBerry Smartphones photo transfer from the memory of the device to media card.

My BB has hundreds of photos on the device's memory, so I can't transfer, then to the PC (T Mobile "expert" told me) unless I have move to the media card. How it happened, I don't know. So, looking through this great forum I found the answer from a guy with a link to ID of Article: KB05478, I'm sorry, I couldn't find the post, but I photocopied it. Thank you, whoever you are.

BUT there is no command 'move' on my BB, so I can't move the photos from the memory of the device to the media card.  I can, however, move them individually. Needless to say, there are 100 pictures, which will have for ages.  Is there another method?

    Thank you very much.

    P.

Yes, this is what he means.  It is at the same time.

The best thing to do in the future is to get a camera configuration always save the photos to the media card / media card.  The photos on the memory device, if ever, the device is corrupted or fails you will lose all your photos.

  • BlackBerry smartphone data transfer

My curve 'Crash' on me so they are sending me a new (as it is still under warranty). If I swap my SIM will automatically transfer all my info from contacts or who will be lost?

Hello and welcome to the community!

If you use your SIM card as your storage location of the exclusive contact item (you check in your camera settings), then your contacts will indeed be moving along with your SIM card. But, most do not because the list of contacts from SIM card is terribly restricted... a SIM contact element can have only one name to a phone number and no other details. The BB address book can have a name with multiple phone numbers, addresses, email, notes, etc. The BB address book is a lot more robust that the SIM contact list... so, if you use the address book of BB, then these elements definitely will not move with your SIM card to the new device.

But all is not lost... check-out of the switch device Wizard:

    • Article ID: KB23677 How to change device using BlackBerry Desktop Software

If you can keep your old device running long enough to get through the process, then that takes care of everything. You may need to try Mode safe on your old device to run more if the 'crash' coming in too fast.

Good luck and let us know!
